Hey guys, Highwind here.
Yeah, you probably guessed it, for those who're more pessimistic. After staring at the forum for weeks, I've come to realized that really no matter what I do, there's no possible way to ever make FM as successful as it was in its hay day. You can go ahead and say I'm giving up. Though I rather think of it as moving on. I've poured most of my time into trying to bring FM back to life for the past year ever since I took on this job as Admin. With most of my staffs leaving left and right, I continued to hold on to this forum. I had hope you guys would be able to survive without me. But this isn't a problem of whether my staffs are active enough, or whether I'm active enough. It's a matter of whether interest in RPing and in Kingdom Hearts exists any longer. Admit it, you've all grown up. It's harder to keep it going sometimes. I'm not blaming you guys at all. With all the time I have poured into the forum when people are absent around me, I can look back and think, I've done a good job, and it's time to let go. I'm thankful for the time I had here, to be admin and look at this forum that I never wanted in the beginning and smile and think...ah...it's so nice to be on FM. This is my place. And this is their place too. Some of you might be disappointed with me. After I promised so much, to let you guys down, it's not fair of me. I guess I just have to say to that, well I'm human. I've done quite a lot of things on this forum that I would have liked to do differently, dealt with a lot of people I would have rather not dealt with. But whatever, it was a good run. I loved this place and I loved its people. I'm glad I'm not trying to kick life back to this poor dead horse. I have new ideas and new ambitions, and I assume you guys do too. Time to move on, my dearies. It was a good time we spent here. And it won't be gone from the memory anytime soon.
