General Character Information
--------------------------------------
Character Name: Hayai Nota
Character Age: 17
Character Gender: Male
Character Race: Character Race: 72% Human; 28% Demon
Character Position: Good
Character Personality: Hayai is one of those people who are almost always seen wearing a smile, and is usually caught in an upbeat mood. There may be times when he is down and depressed, but he quickly shakes it off, refusing to ponder on such thoughts. The young man always helps someone in a time of need even if they were a stranger. Whether it was delivering a package, or fending off enemies, Hayai would help. Unless, of course, the person he ended up helping was the "bad guy", or someone Hayai greatly disliked.
While he is a generally happy fellow, there are only few moments when he loses his positive outlook, and loses composure; blatant disrespect. If he were to see a child talk back to their parent, he would snap. Despite these moments, it is very rare to see Hayai with his head down.
Character's Appearance:
Drawn By Yours Truly
Build: Hayai stands at 5'11'', and weighs 137 pounds. Due to this, he is quite thin. He has a light muscle tone in both arms, with the left arm slightly stronger than the right (Hayai is left-handed, so he usually ends up using that arm more often); and strong muscle tone in the legs. His skin is a shade of light tan, and he has a clean complexion.
Genetics: Hayai's hair is ten to twelve inches long; and it always seems to stand up in a wild fashion, mainly from the fact that Hayai rarely combs it. The entire front of his hair is a bright orange, only the tip of the front, and the tips of the bangs are black along with streaks of dark-colored hair scattered around the front. On the entire back-side of his head, the hair is a deep shade of black.
The young man's eyes are a bright shade of green, holding the same color as an emerald gemstone.
As for tattoos, Hayai has none. But what he does have, are multiple scars or "stripes" all over his body excluding his feet, hands, neck, and forehead. They travel up and down his arms and legs in a tiger-like pattern, as well as the stripes on his abdomen and chest. On his face however, there are only three stripes. On the right side, is one large stripe; which is several inches long. The second stripe is located on the other cheek, but is slightly smaller. The third and final scar/stripe, is located right above the second stripe, and is much smaller than the two in comparison.
Clothing: As for clothing, Hayai wears nothing too extravagant or expensive. He wears a t-shirt, with the sleeve reaching only a few inches above the elbow. It is bright orange, matching his hair, and has a red circle in the front of the shirt, where the center of the chest is located. In the red circle, was a face. It had angry eyes in the shape of watermelon slices, and a grin in the same shape; the eyes and mouth were orange.
For pants, Hayai wears baggy, denim jeans, that is shade of dark blue. It fits snugly around the waist, but the pant legs widen on their way to the bottom; which is only an inch above the ankle. He wears orange slip-ons with a white insole. The only other noticeable detail would be the single, thick black stripe running across each shoe from one side to the other.

Battle Information
--------------------------------------
Weapon Name: N/A
Weapon Appearance: N/A
Abilities:
Slot One - Superhuman-Speed
Hayai's demon heritage gives him the ability to move at supernatural speeds. This would be an impossible feat for some, but not to Hayai. The usual speed he travels at is sixty to one hundred miles per hour, as fast as a speeding cheetah or automobile. At his highest speeds, he is seen as a blur, or a big mass of color. Though, like most cars, if you were to keep his eyes trained straight on him, the boy would appear as if he was sprinting.
This is a great ability to have, as it allows him to make swift attacks, or quick getaways with little to no energy used up. Though a strong strike to either leg would greatly impair his speed, or if he were in sand or water at least one foot deep.
Super High-Speed Movement - Upgrade
Upgraded from "Superhuman-Speed
An upgrade of Hayai's original super-speed. His maximum speed greatly increases, allowing him of quick bursts of speed that create after-images when he moves. Though he actually doesn't disappear then reappear somewhere else in the area. He simple disappears and then reappears one step ahead of himself, creating a flickering like effect. This doesn't effect the enemy's ability to see Hayai at all though.
Limits: Hayai can travel at even greater speeds outside of combat, but when he enters a battle, his speed is reduced. The reduced speed is that of his regular superhuman-speed.
Slot Two - Procella Palma
A magic technique Hayai taught himself in the beginning of his journey, and is currently his only projectile and offensive magic spell. The young man starts out as if he were casting a thunder spell, except when he holds out his hand, the lightning forms within it. It starts out with arcs of lightning shooting out of Hayai's hand violently, until the lashing out becomes sporadic, and soon ceasing to a halt. The lightning curls up into a small ball, varying in size. It will sometime take the size of a marble, while at other times it will be much like a baseball. But once the lightning forms itself into a sphere, a cream-colored, porcelain shell surrounds it, encasing the electricity. At this point it is just like a bomb, or grenade. When it comes into contact with something once thrown, it explodes. The force of the explosion is similar to that of a Thundara spell.
This is quite a versatile technique, as Hayai can use it to fight with enemies, he could also use it to tear down common obstacles, and even propel himself into the air. There is a rare chance of the "bomb" exploding in Hayai's palm.
Limits: Hayai can use the Procella Palma without a cool-down, since it isn't incredibly powerful. Yet with each one thrown, the shell becomes weaker, increasing the chance of it exploding on Hayai. Not only that, but the strength of all of his magic decreases in strength with each one formed.
Slot Three - Reflect
A simple and weak defensive spell; and the only one Hayai knows so far. When he raises an arm and shouts it's name, a barrier appears around him. The barrier is in the shape of a sphere, and six feet in radius. The sphere is transparent, with a silver tint; and is formed from multiple hexagons connecting.
When something strikes the shield, the attack merely bounces off. Then, where the barrier had been struck, it sends out a pellet of pure energy. It isn't very strong, but can still cause a little bit of pain.
Reflect can absorb and send back most projectiles with ease, but if someone were to rush at the shield and attack it violently, the shield would shatter.
Limits: The barrier cannot take too many physical attacks, or else it would shatter. Once shattered, Hayai cannot use it for six turns.
Additional Abilities:
Slot 4 - Points of Intersection.
Using his super speed to his advantage; Hayai gains a temporary boost in strength as he speeds around the opponent in circles. Hayai creates several after-images that continue to circle around the enemy; then attack all at once. The enemy wouldn't have room to flee, and is forced to attack one of the after-images in the hopes of hitting the original. During the confusion, Hayai could hide behind one of the after-images, or find an opening to attack. He could even attack along with the after-images. Thus there would be multiple variations, which would make things all the more difficult for the target to predict Hayai's next move.
If Hayai strikes succesfully, he can continue the ability. But if the opponent dodges the attack, the ability stops and has a two post cool down.
Slot 5 - Demonic Transformation
Hayai's demon blood absorbs some of his human blood, and it temporarily doubles Hayai's speed and strength. His after-images become blurs, and he can shatter common weapons with a single powerful punch.
As for physical changes, Hayai's body gains a fiery orange aura. This is caused from the demon blood cells "eating" the normal ones. The other physical change is that the scars across his body increase in size. He is still the same Hayai, and his personality remains unchanged (For the first few transformations at least).
Limits: The transformed state lasts for five turns. Then has a cooldown of thirteen turns (due to the great boost in speed and strength). The long term affects are that he becomes slightly more of a demon, and his personality becomes a bit more chaotic with each use.
Slot 6 - Tribuo Attero

Slot 6 - Tribuo Attero
A purely defensive technique that is natural to Hayai, and his demonic bloodline. Tribuo literally means "divide" in Latin, as Attero means "weaken"; which is exactly what this ability does. It divides the substance itself as well as it's destructive/defensive power. This may seem like a powerful offensive attack, but it only works on objects without a solid form; mainly magic. This works greatly against magical projectiles, but can also work on walls or domes of magic as well. Though if the magic itself had a definite form, Tribuo Attero would have no effect.
First, Hayai's hand(s) glow with a faint orange aura. Then he swings the same hand in a wide arc, which propels a nearly invisible crescent-shaped projectile forward through the air. Depending on how he swings his arm, the crescent -shaped "blade" would fly vertically, or horizontally. The projectile carves through indefinite substances like a warm knife through butter, and keeps on flying until it hits a solid object.
If it were to hit a fireball, the fireball would be sliced into two pieces but continue to fly at the target. But it's strength would be halved as well. In some cases, cutting a fireball in half would already decrease it's destructive power, right? Well with Tribuo Attero, the attack's force is halved whether it was already weakened or not. In the case of a dome or large wall, Tribuo Attero would carve a hole in said dome/wall, allowing Hayai to escape.
The only variable to how effective the ability is, is how far Hayai sewing's his arm. If it is a small arc, Tribuo Attero would be quite small, and ineffective. But if he swings his arm in a very wide arc, the blade would be very wide as well, and succeed in it's objective.
Limits:
Cool-Down of 4 turns, when used with one hand (Cuts the projectiles into two, halves it's power once)
Cool-Down of 8 turns, when used with both hands (Cuts the projectile into four, halves it's power twice)
Slot 7 - Reflective Dash
Another technique that comes naturally to Hayai and his heritage. This technique is mainly used for defense, but can be used offensively if used correctly.
Firstly; Hayai gains a faint, orange aura. This aura gives him an energy boost that takes the form in a sudden increase of speed, even faster than normal. Hayai doesn't gain more after-images or becomes a nearly invisible blur, oh no; he gains a special slipstream.
What this slipstream does, is repels anything that comes in contact with Hayai: tangible, or intangible. Hayai could use this in many ways, like penetrating a wall or dome. Or, if someone were to fire a projectile at Hayai; the slipstream would pick it up, and carry the projectile around Hayai. If someone were to come at him with a sword, the sword would be carried away by the stream; unless the wielder held onto it tight enough. In that case, the blow aimed at Hayai would only end up being redirected. It can be used offensively, if Hayai were to bum rush the target. The slipstream might fling them over Hayai's head, or they would merely be knocked down.
This technique effect virtually every material, including the battlefield itself, and if it were to be used offensively, it would cause little damage. This slipstream can even protect Hayai from gases. This can be a pro, but also a con; as it would keep Hayai from receiving air (oxygen), so Hayai can only use this ability very sparingly.
Limits:
Ability Lasts One Post
Cool-Down of Four Turns
Special Abilities: None yet
Items: None yet

Character History
--------------------------------------
Ceel and Yuuka
A long time ago, there was a man by the name of "Yuuken". He wasn't very skilled with a blade, but carried one anyways. He was an explorer, who traveled to many different worlds. He has been to all of the worlds at least once, save a few. He seemed like an ordinary man to the naked eye, but he had a dark secret; he was attracted to animals.
It was his first time to the world "Where Tigers Roam", and after he stepped off the Gummi Ship is when he noticed an injured tiger. Succumbing to his twisted nature, he did some things to this injured tiger. Afterward, he acted as if none of it had happened, and nursed the very same tiger back to health. Though, the tiger never forgot what he had done to her; and she transformed into a young demon. The tiger's name was "Ceel", and she was very angry for what he had done to her; for she was going to have a daughter. Considering the fact that Yuuken seemed he would be a poor father, and the fact that se wanted revenge, she killed him with his own weapon.
Many weeks later, she bore her daughter. Never wanting to forget her hatred for pure humans, she named the child "Yuuka". Yuuka lived in the wilderness of "Where Tigers Roam", and learned many necessary skills for survival. Despite the freedom they had in the wilderness, Yuuka longed to live in civilization. But whenever she brought it up, Ceel scolded her and changed the subject.
By the time she was at the age of twelve, she escaped demonic mother and started a new life in the town a few leagues from where they had lived.
From there, her daily ritual became begging for food or money, and eating from the trash. By the age of fourteen, she was lucky enough to be taken in by a kind old woman named "Ruth".
For the next few years she stayed with Ruth, until she met Kasan, a young man whom she soon fell in love with.
After two years, they got married, and moved into a small house on the single road separated the only two towns of their world.
Shortly after moving in, Ceel appeared, and was very upset for Yuuka's choices. Though after a long discussion, Ceel reluctantly accepted the fact that her daughter had married a human male. Soon after, Yuuka had become pregnant with her first son, Hayai.
Hayai's Childhood
During the first few years of his life, Hayai was a very curious child. He would always try to climb things, or attempt to eat uneatable items. He was unnaturally speedy for his age, which always gave his father, Kasan, a hard time watching him. By the time he was five, Yuuka was pregnant again, and everyone was excited. Ceel, his grandmother, even went to the trouble of staying in their household to help with the second child. She was kind to the young Hayai and pregnant Yuuka, but was still irritable to Kasan.
After many weeks, she gave birth to a second son, Kuik. Just like Hayai, Kuik was unnaturally fast for his age as well. They would always get into mayhem, and Ceel would have to step in to settle them down.
Now Hayai was eight, and Kuik was two. At this time, Hayai was helping to raise Kuik in all the ways he could, and even tried to be a good role-model to the toddler. Kuik would always end up copying Hayai, and Hayai enjoyed every bit of it. This is also when Kasan started to home-school Hayai. Hayai's days were filled with learning while Kuik's was filled with childish mischief.
The next major event happened when Hayai was thirteen, and Kuik was seven. For the very first time in Where Tigers Roam, heartless appeared. It was late in the afternoon, and the sun had already set; Hayai was playing with Kuik out in a nearby field. Suddenly, a pool of darkness appeared under the young boy's feet, and hands sprouted from below. It grabbed a hold of Kuik's ankles, and dragged him down. After that, several shadows appeared around the frightened Hayai; and he would of been gotten to, lest Ceel had not rescued him.
The entire family was sullen for the next few months at the loss of Kuik. Kasan always had his head down when he was doing his work. Yuuka always cried when she saw Hayai (The two sons held a striking resemblance). Ceel seldom visited their home. Of course, this didn't help Hayai, who had nightmares of the dark creatures who stole Kuik away.
At this time, Kasan teached the teenage Hayai about manners, and respect. Though with what was going on, only a bit of the lesson reached Hayai. Though the lesson had reached him enough for him to gain a distaste for disrespectful behavior.
When Hayai was fifteen, all of the sadness and trauma was a thing of the past, and his family forgot all about Kuik. Though Hayai still had the occasional nightmare about a nameless boy being slain by dark monsters. It was this time, that Ceel had taken Hayai into the wilderness,, where she taught Hayai many things. Like how to fish, hunt, start a fire, and how to defend himself. She gave him a fallen branch to use as a sword, and they would do battle. Though Hayai seemed to get worse with each fight, to the point where he threw away the mangled branch. Taking a different approach, Ceel decided to teach Hayai to fight in hand-to-hand combat. This time, he had actually done pretty well, and his skill increased over the weeks.
Finally, Hayai was up to par with his Grandmother and her blade, and not a day too soon. The heartless appeared a second time, and in greater numbers. Though with the combined efforts of him and Ceel, they dispatched the creatures. Hayai soon made the realization that the creatures were not of this world, but were like aliens. Going to the town's library, he researched all he could about other worlds, even children's books. All he could learn about though was the fact that there were more than one world, and there were ways to reach them. It wasn't until a magician moved into town that Hayai had the means of transportation. He wanted to put his skill and demonic powers to good use, and to make sure no one else was taken by the foul creatures.
So after a long discussion with his family, they said their good-byes and the magician summoned a portal for Hayai to go through.
Over the next two years, Hayai had gone from world to world via portals or hitch-hiking, and on every world, learned more about the heartless. Though it wasn't until he visited the library in Hollow Bastion that he had learned about a weapon called the "KeyBlade" and the black creature's true names; heartless. There was even a book covering the topic of nobodies. Hayai couldn't understand the sentences and their hidden meanings besides the few in the beginning. This only taught him about how they were made, and nothing else...
