Alex's father was in Org. XIII before Axel came. Before they became nobodys, Larxene had been in love with him, but after they became Nobody's, he became bitter and pushed her away. But soon, he met a young woman named Rose. Rose fell in love with him and he did in return. But Alex's father explained they can never be, because he can't feel. She then said that she'd love him, even if he didn't have a heart. That single act of kindness triggered something, and his heart began to return!
When Alex was born, his father's heart was half back, making him half human, half nobody. He can feel emotions and love like a human, but has the powers of a nobody...
