General Character Information
--------------------------------------
Character Name: Luxord, The Gambler of Fate
Character Age: N/A [ Appears Around Early 30's. ]
Character Gender: Male
Character Race: Nobody
Character Position: Evil
Character Personality:
Luxord places his trust in games and luck. His battle style is a reflection of this. He constantly plays these games with opponent while maintaining an air of superiority, though they can backfire on him both in an out of battle. He holds a distinct British accent, adding an air of sophistication to him. He's also portrayed as a master of rhetoric. This is shown by his complex vocabulary in unneeded places, such as when he dubbed his summoned heartless as "a veritable maelstrom of avarice", meaning that it is endlessly greedy.
Though Luxord sometimes is truly expectable, he is truly a mastermind when put to the test. His abilities of deduction and instinct are well known and give him skill in his gambling affairs that he holds fast to quite often. Though this may be the case he is in no way easily predcited, his movements and arrogant attitude towards many others show of this.
Character's Appearance:
Luxord bears sharp blue eyes and short blond hair that remains slicked back. He has sideburns and a unique style of mustache and goatee. On each ear he has three identical earrings along the cartilage filled edge, and on his left ear hands an earring representing the Organization. To accompany his singular Organization oriented earring, Luxord wears a long, black hooded cloak and black gloves and boots.
The black cloak in which Luxord wears is mandatory it seems for all Organization members, it seems to be covered in a variety of embolded zippers and other pockets which give it a rather interesting appeal when seen by an unknown spectator. The black boots he wears also go along with this theme, being black and covered in small zippers, they can't help but stand out.

Battle Information
--------------------------------------
Weapon Name: Cards and Dice
Weapon Appearance:
Luxord uses basic playing cards and dice for battle. Though they seem uselesson hand, he can cause them to grow and utilize them with other abilities.
Abilities:
Cards
Luxord uses playing cards and die, which he can cause to grow larger, to fight. He can shield or hide himself with the cards, and attack with them as either projectiles or melee weapons. He can even create traps for his opponent to 'spring' utilizing the cards. He also holds the ability to create games of chance where Luxord's opponent with either hurt himself or Luxord. He can initiate the battle with the games by causing his cards to spin around others and cause them to vanish. Or he turn his opponent into a playing card with basic attacking capabilities.
Dice
Another unique attack is his ability to turn an opponent into a six-sided die and have the opponent just bounce around for awhile
Time
Luxord's magical endowment is that of time. In place of health status, Luxord can place a time limit for each person. While the time run normally, damage taken can create jumps in the time, making the limit go down faster. He can also slow down the movements of his opponent for a short while.
Additional Abilities: [Abilities that you have bought/earned. This section is ONLY to be touched by staff upon you buying/earning an Additional Ability.]
Special Abilities:
Org. XIII Special
Darkness. We all can control dark portals anyways, and our leader can wield darkness, so it stands to perfect logic that our cloaks are made out of the same stuff.
As such, they are immune to our respective elemental powers (normal materials would render Axel naked at some point in time...you don't want to see that) and to stains, rips, tears, the blood of our enemies, sweat, water balloons, wrinkles, ect. All the while not absorbing any damage dealt to us. It passes right on through so that we, instead of our clothing, take the blow.
When the hoods are up, our faces are concealed in darkness generated by the cloaks.
Since our cloaks don't give us any extra powers, besides perhaps the power to remain clothed, and its well known that when our hoods are up our faces are perfectly concealed, I don't see why this wouldn't count as a normal appearance description update. It just adds depth and some technical explanation to our characters.

Character History
--------------------------------------
Before the Organization
Though his place of birth is unknown, Luxord was born into a lonely world with his mother. After his birth they moved to Twilight Town where his mother hoped to escape the Heartless which had claimed his father and sister a year earlier. The desperate mother did everything for her young son, and did her best to keep him educated and strong, so that his fate would never be similar to that of his father and sister, and perhaps in the future; his mother.
After Luxord's fifth birthday, his mother had decided to take him to a local restaraunt where they would eat. Though their peace was interrupted when several large Heartless attacked the area. In the confusion, Luxord's mother was seperated from him, as he was left alone to face the heartless. Though, due to his age, his heart was simply another thing that they would take.
After the attack, he changed completly. When he turned into a nobody, his appearance became more broad as he now seemed to feel unaffected by things that he would naturally react to. And with this, he was sucked into darkness where he became a ruthless fighter for the nobodies. With this, Luxord's last wishes to see his mother one last time were denied as he persumed that she had in fact abandoned him in front of the heartless when she had truly lost her son. This rage caused him to forever distrust those around him and regaurd others lowly.
During the Organization
He first appears cloaked and hooded in Hollow Bastion, taunting Sora and his friends along with the rest of the remaining Organization XIII. At that time, Luxord was unknown to Sora as an individual, however he later became known to the Keyblade wielder. It happened on Sora's second trip to Port Royal, when Luxord again harassed Sora and his friends. Confrontation ensued.
Luxord summoned a heartless, describing it as "a veritable maelstrom of avarice". His complex wording was a long phrase meaning "endlessly greedy". Sora and his party battled the heartless, constantly gathering cursed coins from the heartless and putting them into the chest before being able to strike. When finally the heartless was defeated, Luxord took off, later to confront Sora in The World that Never Was.
Their confrontation in The World that Never Was was their final confrontation. First Luxord appeared from his portal and caused Sora's party to vanish, setting the battle for just the two of them. He battled Sora, using his advanced card tricks and time manipulation to try to defeat the boy. However, he failed and was beaten. When Sora launched his final strike, Luxord attempted a barrier with his cards, but the Keyblade cut right through it, ultimately defeating Luxord. Before he vanished, Luxord mentioned something that all other Organization XIII members mention when they are defeated; Roxas.
Return
Though his demise seemed real enough to those who had done the deed, when he had vanished that night he quickly made up his night. He would take heed of this incident and leave the Organization immediately before he would die like the others most certainly had coming. Though this wasn't for him, so intently he fled the area and went into exile for a handful of long and rather uninteresting years in which he recovered from his near death experience and continued to obsess with his gambling love.
As the years rolled by though, he soon realized that it would take too long for him to simply be forgotten by those who remembered who he was as a member of the Organization, though in intollerance to the living conditions he had to put up with in order to stay in hiding he eventually left his exile in order to regain sanity in a more luxurious way. Though on his way into town that very night he was left a small note by a window in the shack he had to live in. Not leaving it for years, he was surprised anyone knew about him and thus read it in terror of what it would withold.
Inside was an invitation to come back once more to the Organization that had completely reformed after awhile of bad tidings. With this, Luxord thought it over quite thoroughly until he was left with the image of his returning to darkness scarred in his mind. This would not happen to him, though the positive sides were quite overwhelming for him. Power once more was too good to pass by, so, willing, he returned to the Organization he once fled from.

Seeping from the ground, building on itself, was the darkness. It rose, black with a faint glow of purple. It formed a half-oval from the ground, and from it emerged another being, cloaked in black. His hood was not pulled over his ace, so the blond hair and sharp, blue eyes shown through with excellence. The Gambler of Fate exited the veil of darkness and stood silently, his eyes scanning both Roxas and Demyx. A smirk formed on his face before he spoke.
"Well, what do we have here?" he question, his arms and hands moving as he spoke, the gestures somewhat playful, as was his tone. His thick, British accent rang through the room, bouncing off the walls. Demyx was a spectacle, what with his little prankster tools held in a bag, and with him making excuses to Roxas. Of course, Luxord did not truly know what was in the bag, for Demyx had scooped everything into the bag just before he had gotten there. No-- Luxord was in the dark about that little detail.
"N-Nothing special.."
Such a thing as pulling the bag closer to his torso was a noticeable thing. Luxord eyed the bag now, noting the various bumps and how tightly it was being grasped. Demyx was hiding something. Luxord could tell just by the way he moved. However, Fate would claim its prize at the right time. If Demyx wanted to play games, he would get them. That was something Luxord enjoyed waiting for.
However, Luxord's attention shifted to Roxas, his sharp eyes catching the stare he was given. His eyes were not kind, and his silence abnormal for the Nobody of a person like Sora. Surely he was not too thrilled about Luxord showing up out of nowhere. It didn't matter though. Luxord did not claim to try and be joyous around Roxas either. In fact, he still did not trust the boy.
"What exactly is 'nothing special'?" Luxord questioned, his fingers forming air quotes as the words 'nothing special' were said. Luxord would pursue this matter thoroughly and try to force the answer out of Demyx. But, if Demyx continued to withhold the information, Luxord would be quite happy to just cut the bag open and let the contents spill onto the floor.
Luxord shifted his body and raised a brow. Demyx thought him the superior? And what was he basing this off of? Number? Well, numbers were one things, but power and usefulness were on the side of Roxas and Luxord. He rose a hand and snapped his fingers, summoning giant cards from the ground. The darkness spat them from the floor, and they flowed to Luxord's sides. He was in for a rude awakening.
Luxord glanced at Roxas, spotting the Keyblade. Roxas didn't seem to take too kindly to what Demyx was suggesting either. And it seemed that Roxas was giving the other child a chance to re-think what he had stated. Luxord would do the same, for it was the wisest move. But, if Demyx refused to take back his comment, he would not like the end result.
"I would suggest taking back your idiocy," he stated, his British accent overwhelming now. His sharp eyes narrowed as he locked them onto Demyx. He was preparing to launch his assault. Demyx had control over water, but Luxord had control over time. Who do you think would win?
