General Character Information
--------------------------------------
Character Name: Bailee Mirrok
Character Age: 17
Character Gender: Female
Character Race: Human
Character Position: Neutral
Character Personality: Bailee is a weak hearted person and, stripped of everything familiar, looking for someone to follow. Her knowledge of light and darkness are superficial, and depending on who she interacts with could easily be influenced either way. She is shy and lacks courage; she is most always very lost due to her tendency/ability to fall through portals. She doesn’t mind silence, though awkward silences make her nervous. When with people, however, she can’t really tell the difference between the two. Though with her adventures now begun, she has lost some of her shyness and cowardice and begun to see the world in a new light.
Character's Appearance: Shoulder length light brown hair, with green eyes and a roundish face. Has blue and grey lace up sneakers. Wears green cargo pants for the handy pockets and to hide her figure, and a pastel blue short sleeved shirt worn slightly loose. Around her waist she keeps her black hoodie tied unless she needs it. Pale skinned from spending much of her time inside, and not exactly in athletic condition.

Weapon Info
Weapon Name: Glaive
Weapon Appearance: A glaive, essentially a six foot wooden pole with a foot and a half long blade on the end. Found in Beast's Castle.
Abilities:
Portal Opportunist – Bailee’s ‘dumb luck’ upon escaping the collapse of her world into darkness was none other than her undiscovered talent for portals. She now aware of most aspects of her ability, and is gaining increasing control of it. This ability at its peak allows Bailee, should it be honed, to sense portals as well as rips in the universal fabric of all kinds that might appear within half a world from her and keep them open. She can now create portals of any type that she has traveled through before; allowing her to chose her destination and better direct her journey. She doesn't have to know where she is going to get there, only have a sense of the type of place she wants to travel to. Oddly enough, this ability works much better under stress. (Creation of a portal has a cooldown of one post.)
Hide And Go Seek – Bailee was always very good at this game while she was a child, and is perhaps one of her most honed abilities. She can find people by sensing whatever energy they give off. She can not sense magic attacks (which are based off a form of energy) and she can not determine the strength of the energy being emitted (aka all energy signatures look alike to her). The same perchance for energy allows her to hide her own energy, but as of now only this is only possible when she’s physically hiding and able to concentrate.
Shield – Bailee had a great great uncle who used to think he was a magician. Who knew? Bailee certainly didn’t. And while her uncle was no great magician, she did inherit the small talent of shielding. As a kid, this meant she never broke any bones or got any serious scrapes. Her shield is a natural barrier which draws on her small reserve of magic to keep her from getting hurt. It only keeps major harm from happening to her, so bumps and buses slide by it easily. It reduces damage taken to that of a non life and limb threatening level. It is only as strong as she is, and currently any more than one powerful blast and she’s easily a toaster pastry.

Character History
--------------------------------------
Born and raised in an average suburban world, Bailee was never very special. She always blended into a crowd, and although her grades were above average they were nothing noteworthy. Bailee has always though of herself as a good hearted and generous person, in truth her goodness was that born of naivety and complacency and not true ‘goodness’. Never faced with bad circumstances or challenges, she is totally ignorant of the struggles taking place between light and darkness on other worlds. She has always been happy to be a follower, and hasn’t even contemplated the idea of displaying leadership. Leadership just not in her nature, and would be nearly impossibly for her to exhibit. Although she has always thought of herself as a knowledgeable and smart person, her only knowledge about the world comes from books and odd facts. Though not a special person, she does have some special talents. Unknown and seriously underdeveloped, in her peaceful world they have gone totally unseen and unneeded.
One day as she prepared for school, Bailee’s world was consumed by darkness. Panicking, Bailee ran from the darkness and the heartless that followed and stumbled through a portal by blind luck. She wound up in Twilight Town and was taken in by an elderly couple, only to wander off one day and fall into another portal. This is where Bailee’s adventure really begins.
She landed in an alleyway during the party in the Second District. She sought help and ran into (kinda literally) a girl named Selia. Soon after, however, a fight broke out and she was just able to barely see Riku’s final demise and his attacker’s flight. Looking for a way off world, her and Selia approached a young man called Hayai. He informed them that the creepy woman had been wielding a Lockshield and also managed to answer some of their other questions. These conversation helped Bailee get over some of her shyness when talking to strangers and to be braver in her new situation. Through a portal, they left for Beast’s Castle together. Upon arrival they were attacked by swarms of heartless. It was here that she discovered that she possessed a natural shield. Wielding a rock she picked up off the ground, they fled to the safety of the castle and into a small room lit by a fire, where she nearly fell through another portal in one of the walls. Her situation improved when Hayai, deciding that a rock wasn’t really a capable weapon, found her a glaive, which she had no experience in the use of. They decided to leave the safety of the safe room and go looking for the castle kitchen. On their way there, they were met with a hoard of heartless.
Bailee suffered a minor injury to her left cheek after her regenerated shield again fell, while Hayai was fairly seriously injured. He suffered a deep cut to one of his arms and a gash to the side. With all the gargoyles defeated, Bailee found it in herself to finish the fight on her own. She was now not quite so awkward with her new weapon and more confidant with her limited ability to defend herself, though seriously exhausted by all the recent fighting. Concerned for Hayai, she offered him the use of her hoodie to stop the bleeding of his side. With nothing else to do but go forward, they moved on to find the kitchen entering into a hall with a series of doors lining one side and great sweeping windows on the other.
After uneventfully trying several doors, they found the kitchen. Here Hayai made soup while Bailee munched on raw fruits and vegetables. Out of danger, they began to talk. They discussed their pasts, with her’s being decidedly boring and his being shocking. She learned of the keyblades and more of the worlds in which she found herself. She saved some fruit wrapped in towels in her large pockets and they mad their way back to the safe room without further incident. Moving through the rip in the fabric of space, they found themselves in another world; the Pride Lands. Bailee’s surprise upon finding herself next to a tiger was only surmounted by her surprise at finding herself to be an ostrich. Scared and chased by Hayai, she fled through the jungle and ran into a branch. Comedic injury ensued. In an attempt to make her tougher, Hayai again chased her all the way to the dried cracked plains of the desert, where predictably they came across more heartless.
All were taken care of except for one shaman monkey, which decided that Bailee made a good mount. Once again she fled back into the forest and managed to dislodge the pest through use of a tree branch. Calmed down, she and Hayai discussed the lady with the shield they had observed in District 2 at the party. While they were talking, they were suddenly and semi-violently reunited with their friend Selia! Happy to see her, they began catching up. Topics lead to the issue of Bailee’s new abilities. Deciding to take a chance, she agreed to test out whether her affinity for portals would allow her to generate one.
