"What the f***!?" He felt weird being there the whole time he could have picked any other party than the one he had gone, could have skipped the entire idea, but no he picked the location where he was no doubt going to get sucked into something he had no time for. Even if he tried to leave he doubted he could get Ir Ixis from the weapon pile.
Eventually he pulled himself from the ground and looked around. Most everyone seemed to be okay except Kairi. Again he complained in his mind. He knew Kairi of course, God everyone traveling worlds did, and with that came the knowledge of how serious things were going to get. He could kiss getting home goodbye. Now isn't the time, his brain screamed at him. It was true he was being ridiculously selfish, but honestly he had no idea what he should be doing. So now that he stood he, with quite volume asked of the guests one simple question.
"WHAT THE F***!?"

END Finally. Something good had happened. The Heartless had put up with being burned by the lights once the commotion had begun. Of course it cared not what happened to the girl. in fact, it was about as close to a heartless can get to feeling pleased knowing that the instinctively feared KeyBlade was in trouble. Not that it would smile or anything as a result, just watch from a corner with those Heartless eyes. In the end the incredibly bright heart had been taken away and the attacker had fled. While the ballroom was still full of bright hearts having the brightest and the KeyBlade both gone in one fell swoop was enough to lift the creature's spirits. Sinking into the ground, the Heartless began Shadow Walking away from this World. It's instincts no longer compelled it to be here and it was clear that there were no clues to finding it's previous self either. Aside from a show that it couldn't have enjoyed despite wanting to, this place clearly had nothing to offer it. END

Blanc was still testing the drinks one by one as the whole little ordeal was happening. The shattering glass was registered in his mind, along with the creature, Kairi, the keyblade, strange shield, and their departure. However, Darkfire had ordered him to test the drinks, and test the drinks he would. To defy Darkfire was to forfeit his very existence. He was incapable of it. Of course, that was until Darkfire verbally called out to him through the connection in his mind.
You idiot! Hurry and catch him before he gets away! Do you realize the possible repercussions of Kairi being kidnapped by someone with mal intent?!
Blanc's mind snapped at the instant he got the command, overriding his current task. Instantly, he bolted for the window, simultaneously spawning his metal staff in his hands, which was already morphing into what appeared to be a harpoon of sorts. His speed was massive, as the tablecloths of tables around him were ripped from where they sat. Dust was blasted from the ground around him, as he jumped out the window, his head bolting in several directions.
Nothing.
Before eventually falling, his staff morphed once more into a cane hooked pole, which latched onto the leftover railing of the broken window, pulling him up with speed like that of his departure. This time Darkfire decided to rather speak out of Blanc's own throat, the thought of losing Kairi due to a stupid order poisoning his own mind, "You fool!" Blanc yelled, a different voice projecting itself from his voicebox, seeming like several deep voices overlapping each other, "You let it get away! Punish yourself! Now!"
His voice reverted back to its normal monotone as he spoke out rather calmly, "Yes, master." His staff morphed into a sort of metal stake, like the wooden ones commonly used against vampires and other unholy creatures. A mighty thrust of his arms plunged it deep into his chest, causing him to kneel over as it hit not only his physical heart, but his true one as well. Blood as black as the night outside dripped to the ground, sizzling in evaporation on contact with the clean white surface, no strewn with broken glass.
"A lesson to you, Blanc! Do not fail your master!" His face did not even show any signs of pain or emotion, but it was clear that he knew that he was failing his master, failing his purpose. The only thing he had. "Yes, master."

Before the fool in the white suit could talk to her, Maileaa saw the window explode. She tried to move her body, but felt the familiar restraint of her master hold her. All she could do was watch in horror as Kairi was somehow shattered by the dark figure. When the thing was gone, Maileaa broke into a run and tried to jump out of the window, but was stopped by Time. "You cannot defeat him. You are not powerful enough. That thing holds a Lockshield, powerful enough to defend against the rule of time itself. It is not Heartless. It is not a Nobody. It is not Human."
When Time had finished speaking, Maileaa found herself back at the refreshment table, facing the man in the white suit and holding her glass of punch. The only trace left of her previous conversation with Time was an order to return home for training and lessons. A flux in time formed in front of her and Maileaa found herself transported back to the hangar in Twilight Town where her Gummi Ship, Aeon, awaited her.
---
As soon as the dark figure had left, Jason stopped playing and, with one last bow, walked out without a word.

"Son of a-where's Sora when you need him!?"
He turned to Kylon, grimacing. "We gotta go after that thing!" His voice rang out, stronger then before.
THIS was what he specialized in. Not fancy-shmancy parties. He knew now that he had been brought here for a purpose, and it was NOT to pretend he had good manners.

[glow=silver,2,300]Exit[/glow] Kylon didn't move a muscle. A bunch of people were running around screaming about the monster that had come, but Kylon didn't move. Even when a man came up to him and said they had to go after him, Kylon just kept his gaze on the ground in front of him. He gently touched the ground where Kairi had 'shattered' from the strange shield. It was almost as if he had dreamed the entire thing. His hair was ruffled and unkempt from being pushed aside and running to where he was now. Disbelief shone in his eyes, looking around desperately for any sign of the young teenaged girl who was there only moments before.
But he couldn't find any...
Lowering his head to the ground, he placed both of his hands on the back of his head. No, no, no, it wasn't happening. Not to Kairi, the innocent girl who had never done anything to anyone. It couldn't be happening...Kylon wanted more than anything to just wake up from the horrible nightmare he was having, but found that it was no nightmare. It was all happening. His eyes were shut tight, parallel with the ground, and his hands slowly curled up into fists, falling to the ground next to his head. His dirty blond hair lay flat on the floor, his fists covering whatever portion of it that fell onto the ground. "No...no, damnit, NO!"
The curled up fists that lay near his head quickly rose into the air and slammed down on the hard wooded floor. Pain instantly shot into his hands, but Kylon didn't care. All that he could think about was how Kairi was basically stolen by some enormous fighter who had a strange sort of shield. He couldn't just let him get away. Something had to be done...but what could he possibly hope to accomplish? That monster was enormous, and could've probably swallowed Kylon in one bit if it really wanted to. Raising his head from the ground, he finally saw the man that had come up to him and told him what they had to do. Sadness was the only thing showed in his expression, as he turned his bluish-green gaze upon the man who approached him. "No, we'd be destroyed...what we've got to do is...oh my God..."
It was at that point that a horrible thought crossed through Kylon's mind. If Kairi being kidnapped was what had happened at this party, he could only imagine what terrible actions had happened at the other parties. His eyes widened in shock and horror at the thought. If Kairi was the target here, then the other heroes had to be the targets elsewhere. He'd stand absolutely no chance if there were more than one of the creatures. If only he had Telnaeru with him, he'd probably be ablet to fight the one that Kairi had taken. But it wasn't the time to be thinking about what would've made things easier.
It was a time to take action.
Without even giving the man any explanation, Kylon got up off of the floor and ran toward the weapon pile. Noticing that someone at the window had drawn their weapon, he was sure that he'd be able to get Sol and Luna from the pile. Conviction was shining in his eyes as his legs pumped faster and faster, racing across the floor to get him to his goal. His hair was waving wildly around as the air whipping past him caused it to fly around. All that he could pay attention to was the pile of weapons that lay in front of him. When he had finally reached the pile, he skidded to a stop in his white dress shoes, taking a bit longer to stop than usual. Without even checking to see if the force field would stop him again, he swiftly grabbed the hilts of his swords, wielding his twin golden and silver blades. "Hang on, Kairi...I'm going for help..."
Dashing toward the window the monster had jumped out of, Kylon passed the man who had, for some reason, stabbed himself. He jumped up onto the edge of the window, looking out in the blackened sky for any trace of what the two, but found none. He'd have to reach someone he knew, someone who could help him. With a man in mind, he stood up tall on the edge of the window, and closed his eyes. It had been a while since he had traveled through light without Telnaeru...reaching the party via Gummi Ship, he needed to refocus his energy to ensure he did this right. With a deep breath, Kylon snapped his eyes open and leapt out of the window. "Fury of the Moon!"
Flying down toward the ground, Kylon held Luna up high in the air. His dirty-blond hair was whipping around wildly as he fell faster and faster, threatening to land on the hard concrete beneath him. But, suddenly, a bright silver light began to shine around him. His eyes were closed tight, and Sol was resting in its sheath. The silver light began to glow brighter and brighter, until it was almost impossible to look at him any more. The silver sword that he held was giving off a light more radiant than the one which surrounded Kylon. Then, suddenly, there was a great flash that raced throughout the gounds of Beast's Castle. The giant silver light crashed to the ground, but instantly faded. Kylon was nowhere to be seen.
He was looking for help... [glow=gold,2,300]Exit[/glow]

...
Wow, no one has faith in themselves anymore.
"..Wait, CRAP! I forgot to ask him how to get out of here!"
He ran out of the Ballroom, and to his surprise, his clothes returned to normal.
"...was it REALLY that simple? Geez.."
There was a portal near the end of the castle. Konaa examined it skeptically. "Can this thing bring me home, or will I pop up at a tea party next?"
Deciding he wasn't getting anything useful done just standing around, the young boy ran through it.
Exit.

Windy sighed rubbing giving a slight twitch. Apparently her would-be dance partner was a schizophrenic romantic that kept seeing the bat signal behind her. Score.
As the ballroom filled even more she became slightly tense. Her fear of crowds, no doubt. Her insides coiled like a cold, metal, spring and she felt the insistant urging for escape. Usually she wouldn't be this affected by a mere party...
Restless discontent built at an alarming pace, when suddenly the beast crashed through the window. She froze as the short lived battle between Kairi and what had to be some sort of monster before she was taken.
Stillness echoed as most people stared in blank shock. Eventually one guy yelled asking no one in particular 'What the f***'. One guy dropped to his knees.
Holy-...! Someone STABBED themself!
Finally Floorboy-Jones spoke up. Now there was a suggestion. If of course it was fairly slow or we had any idea where it was going.
"It could be anywhere. If it can travel through worlds it could really be anywhere..."
And it seemed fairly intelligent. For a crazy masked thingy thing.
"...Man..."
Bending down she picked up a piece of shattered glass and looked thoughtful.
"I hope it plans on paying for this..."
Somehow it didn't seem likely.
"Great party everyone!" She said giving a thumbs-up before taking her leave as well.
Exit.

EXIT
A bit of light seemed to be shining on Arbitrix. People were leaving, was he going to get sucked in after all? God, he was being selfish, but upon further thought what could he do anyway? It wasn't like he was in some way special, he knew as much as everyone else in the room. Everyone seemed to be leaving and he may as well too. If he was to be sucked into this ordeal later then so be it he needed to know what happened in his past.
He looked at where Kairi had vanished from and thought of himself for a moment. All those years ago when he had fallen into some strange world, was there a connection? He shook his head, he doubted that Kairi was much more important than he was and to think she had just fallen into another realm was ridiculous.
Upon seeing the previously mentioned drunk impale himself with a shape shifting pole he just shook his head. Grief combined with intoxication? He felt no need to help the man either if he was indeed attempting to kill himself then fine. He had no sympathy for suicide 'victims' and assumed his speaking just drunken rant. The only thing he actually gave any thought to the situation was that he could indeed retrieve his sword.
When his hand touched Ir Ixis's hilt he felt a little more at peace. He turned to what was left of the crowd and simply waved. "I'm out..." And so he undramtically walked out the door overjoyed that his tuxedo had changed back to his original gear. After sliding his blade into the sheathe hanging behind his back he walked through the portal without a clue where he'd pop up. EXIT

What the...? Kiera blinked. A hiss passed through her lips. Cursing, she gathered the skirt of her dress in her hands and made a run for it. There was nothing she could do to help anyone. Vulernable and weak, she ran from the ballroom. As she pushed through the doors, she changed into a giant black cat.
For a moment, she turned to look at the ballroom. What could she do? If she went back in, she'd either be stuck as a cat or turn back into her human form and be naked at that. Not a thought she particularly cared for. Her violet eyes lightened in color. Hopelessness.
She bound into the lingering shadows to disappear and to escape the world. For the moment.

"Holy..." Sonolias started as a humongous monster flew through the window, and attacked the girl his new friend had been asking to dance. Letting go of the girl he'd been holding by the arm, he dove out of the way of the beast that barely grazed his leg while Sonolias was in mid-air. Skidding on the floor, he grabbed his gun from his holder, which he hadn't deposited in the weapon area, and aimed at the thing. But before he could pull the trigger, it had jumped off in another direction, and soon Kairi was just a bunch of dust on the floor. Watching as Kylon left, Sonolias gained a sad expression. The monster lept out of the window as Sonolias returned the Masteshire to its holster. With little enthusiasm, he pushed open the door to leave the ballroom, hoping he'd kind Kylon again, and that the girl may somehow returned.
