Personality: Ashling is a generally amiable person with a knack for sarcasm. Her usual mood is one of flippant frivolity and she is almost always seen wearing a smile on her face and telling people "It's no big deal." She is not one to hold deep grudges; however, this does not mean she is impossible to irritate. Her anger is quick and merciless and has been known to make small children cry. Usually, though, she forgets what made her so mad the following day. She is loyal to friends and shows contempt for backstabbers.

Normal Clothing: Ashling normally dresses in a simple pair of khaki capris with a tshirt. Her outfits vary, though. Her shoes are usually flip flops.

Weapon Name: Zahara
Weapon Description: Zahara is a massive sword with a jagged blade and a ruby-studded hilt. The hilt is shaped like a dragon and the dragon's tail wraps around some of the blade. The blade is made of diamond. The sword's origins stretch back to when Ashling's ancestors still lived on their home world of Ketan and was forged by her many times great grandfather.

Fire: Ashling can create the element of fire with a simple snap of her fingers.
Inferno: By drawing a large amount of power out of her weapon, Ashling can spark an inferno that can cover a battlefield.
Flame Manipulation: By drawing a fair amount of power out of her weapon, Ashling can manipulate fire into shapes and directions.

History

Ashling was born in the quiet world of Twilight Town just after her family escaped the heartless invading their doomed world of Ketan. The family enjoyed the quiet and serene atmosphere that the Town had to offer, so they stayed. The second of four children, Ashling's youth was quite unremarkable. She went to school, vacationed at the beach, made friends, squabbled with her siblings, and was educated on the history of her former world. The only great tragedy that occurred during her childhood was when she was fourteen. At this time, her youngest sister's heart was claimed by a heartless. The family grieved for a respectable amount of time and Ashling's brother, Kale, soon devoted himself to learning how to defeat the heartless. He headed off to Radiant Garden to study the findings of Ansem the Wise and his apprentices. After Radiant Garden's transformation into Hollow Bastion, he was never heard from again. At this point, Ashling was seventeen and ready to travel on her own. Her parents, however, made her wait one more year. On her eighteenth birthday, they bestowed upon her the family sword: Zahara. It was forged by their ancient relatives, who were Ghans, a race of people on their home world. Soon Ashling traveled off, but only half a year passed before she found out her father had passed away. Not wishing to face an empty house, Ashling's mother moved in with Ashling's older sister and her family in Traverse Town, leaving Ashling the Twilight Town home. In between her adventures, she adores taking a break and resting there.
