Other Characters: All located here. ------------------------------------- Canon Character: N/A -------------------------------------
General Character Information
Character Name: Medy Character Alias: ‘Medy Gray’ Character Age: 20 Charactr Gender: Male Character Race: Human Character Position: Neutral Character Appearance: Original Appearance This is the original appearance for Medy, which he dons from his past on Mystic Sky. The band across his head is one that was given to him by his father when he left home, the cloak and the attire underneath simply clothes that he chooses to wear. The lower half of his body, he wears blue-ish three-quarter-lengths that match the top underneath the cloak. For shoes, he chooses to wear sandals, making movement extremely easy and efficient. New Appearance Standing at around about 6’3, Medy weighs in at 174lbs, having a fairly strong build underneath his attire. The lower half of his body that it covered up from the picture simply continues with the large robe over his body, which spreads all the way down to the lower half of his legs. Baggy black jeans, marking a similar style to that which samurai’s wear as the bottoms expand to cover his thick black boots. Whilst his attire appears to be rather loose and hindering in terms of his movement, don’t be fooled. It doesn’t lower his speed at all.
Character Personality: How to describe someone like Medy? The best possible way of doing so would be by his alignment; neutral. Whilst he has no particular care for the evil of the world, not wishing to intervene in any of their plans by defeating them and joining forces with evil, he will still lend his hand should it result in the matter of it being necessary to step in. His best interests quite generally determine what it is that he will do, he will often contemplate something quite thoroughly before he will commit to it. However, whilst this debate may be in depth, it won’t take him long to come to a conclusion. With an intelligence quotient of 198, being referred to quite consistently as a savant, he is one of the most intelligent people in the world. Capable of learning something by immediate experience to it, you’ll find that a battle against him will prove seriously challenging, someone who will simply continue to work out strategies on how to beat someone. Battling is something he’s not unfamiliar with. Having been brought up to be rather experienced in the event, he will quite happily step into any situation involving combat without much fear at all. Able to keep a rather calm and collected state of being during a fight, it allows him to always be on the top of his game and able to focus quickly and efficiently. He has a habit of toying with an opponent, which he does most often rather than kill them straight off, not resorting to such powerful techniques until he has enjoyed the fight so far. However, this doesn’t mean he’ll go easy and leave gaps to be hit. Quite the contrary, he’ll still be as difficult to hit as ever, having great confidence in himself and his techniques, with no room for error. In general conversation, he’s a very polite person and well-educated, reflected in his manner of speaking. He has an extended range of vocabulary which seems to increase by the day as he continues to teach himself. Generally nice to everyone, first impressions have a great impact on him and he takes them quite heavily into account. Therefore, to cause a bad impression of yourself upon meeting him will quite literally cause him to not hold you in such high regards as to his thoughts of you. He lives by a simple motto when it comes to addressing and the treatment of other people. A simple sentence; treat others as you wish to be treated yourself. That stands true pretty much constantly for him, if someone was to cause him upset by dealing him a harsh or derogatory comment, then they will receive the same back from him. However, beneath this calm façade which covers him, there is a serious temper that can be unleashed; and it isn’t pretty. When angered, he’ll hold a permanent grudge against that person and will most likely not hesitate to confront any antagonist in an aggressive manner should they cause him a severe degree of irritation. Be warned, he is a seriously dangerous person when his temper is tested and does have the mental capability to kill without remorse.

Battle Information
Weapon Name: Crimson Sonata Weapon Appearance: Click This sword was handed down to Medy from his mentor, Twilight. The properties of the sword are that it has a hilt measuring a foot in length, the actual blade measuring approximately three and a half feet. In short, it’s of an average size for a sword, but isn’t weak because of it. The blade itself has a diamond core beneath the metal exterior, making it impossible to break. Sharpened to an extreme point, it cuts objects as cleanly as it is possible for a sword to do so, able to carve through metal as if it was like wood, with less difficulty than typically. For the history behind the name of the sword, read Medy’s biography.

Abilities
Hydromancy The art of hydromancy was quite typically believed to be the divination of water, learning to manipulate it according to one’s wish and creating it with a mere thought. However, with practice under the aid of his tutor, Medy was able to achieve levels of hydromancy that no-one had ever dreamed of someone reaching. Firstly, he was able to create giant masses of water equal to that of oceans, able to levitate them without wasting much energy at all, nor using up much. But then, he would take it to the next level, able to locate the fluid capabilities of all liquids and manipulate them to his will, then becoming able to create them after severe practice and time-consumption. Patience wearing off, he was the first hydromancer for decades to be able to create anything outside of water. However, such achievements weren’t enough for Medy, who continuously aimed higher. He did so, able to manipulate the liquids inside of his body and turn his entire being into a complete liquid form of his choice. This was an achievement that not even his mentor saw coming, Medy had practiced it in private for a large duration of time. In short, Medy is able to create and manipulate liquids, excluding those of his opponent, such as their bodily fluids. Able to turn into a liquid form at will, he is indeed far more advanced than any hydromancer in existence.
The Art of the Warrior With training in offence, Medy was brought up to be more than efficient when it came to being a fighter, a combat specialist would be the more accurate term. His high intelligence and capability to judge a battle would need to be met by higher physical abilities, so his mentor saw that his student received everything possible to allow his body to react to different situations and be able to perform at the highest level of fighting. Therefore, it would be arranged for implants to be placed within his body, enhancing various muscles and parts of his body to perform better than the average human, without affecting him negatively in any particular way. In testing these implants, Medy would indeed become heavily shocked by what he was now able to accomplish upon sheer will, finding that continuous use of these new powers didn’t cause him any fatigue at all. If anything, his stamina was just as good as ever, at a peak. Basically, the implants push the limits on both Medy’s mental and physical speed further than humanly and perhaps super-humanly possible. His mental speed allows him to process what’s going on around him and register things at about fifty times the speed that the brain usually does, meaning he can react to almost anything instantly, his eyes able to follow this speed without causing damage. Therefore, his reactions are lightning quick to suit his intelligence. Physically, his reflexes have received a huge boost, able to follow the reactions. Sometimes, it’s not possible for someone to see his body move, instead seeing a blur or after-images. But, his general speed as a whole has increased with it. He can run at speeds faster than a human eye can see. Blink and you’ll miss him. Reaching top speeds of 300mph, with his muscles at a limit, he is quite literally a blue blur upon moving.
The Reflex This is the ability that Medy was famed for at his times during the Academy. An ability which requires nothing more than extreme focus as far as Medy was concerned, although it technically is severely demanding, so much so that no-one else at the school was able to replicate it, nor achieve anything near to it. Whilst most students were only able to produce energy in the form of their birth element, a handful proved successful in drawing out something else; a group that Medy falls into. He was able to draw pure energy from his body and utilize it in a certain form, which is this move. It relies on him simply summoning his elemental energy to cast, but instead separating the element from his own energy and then casting it. The other students who were successful in this found great strain, as did Medy, often going no further than small-scale abilities. The hydromancer however, pushed himself to the limits and created this. A defensive ability, which he resorts to truly when he has no other option. In a flash, it could be present upon his demand, there to defend. He summons the energy from within his body and then causes it to take form of a large dome that covers his body, reaching a radius of 5 metres around him. Anything else within this dome will immediately be thrown backwards with great force, equal to being hit by a large truck. Entering this dome from the outside is impossible; it simply refuses anything to enter. In this state, Medy must focus on maintaining the form, but is immune to any technique cast whilst inside, the dome simply prevents everything. Any attack sent at the dome is absorbed into it and will stay present until the time comes for it to end. Remaining there for Medy’s next two turns (three of his opponent’s), all the damage that will have been inflicted on the dome will be paid back as it explodes with a tremendous force, sending all damage done to it back at the opponent in the form of sheer power, added to that of the dome, which will hit the opponent itself at a force of 5,000Psi, capable of mutilating someone on contact. Within fifty metres of this explosion, death is inevitable. One-hundred metres will result in severe injury. Outside of this will usually cause severe bruising of the skin, up to a maximum of a two-hundred metre radius. After using the technique, a cool-down of four turns is required before Medy can use the technique again.
Additional Abilities: Dance of the Chameleon The secondary technique which Medy has invented upon his travels in the universe of Kingdom Hearts, after taking time out from his travels to perfect his techniques. Upon studying the Reflex move, he was continuously intrigued by the energy he was able to create in order to summon the shield. What picked at his interest was how he was able to summon the energy, to then investigate more into controlling it in other forms rather than force it to solidify into an unstable shield. To stabilise it was his priority, his studies would then progress from there. A week would pass, whereby he would summon the energy in order to experiment with it, which would heavily drain him every time. Stamina would build up as a result, until at the end of the week, he had proved more than successful in holding a small orb of the pure energy in the palm of his hand and maintaining its form for durations of time. From there, he would attempt to manipulate it into various forms such as blades and coating his body with it. With mastering the technique, he has proved successful in using it as a substitute for other purposes. To summarize, this is what the technique is capable of. Medy is able to summon pure energy to manipulate in any form that he should wish to, similar to the way that a diviner of elements would control their affiliation. He can summon it in the form of various weapons, swords and small daggers that will act perfectly as their solid counterparts would. Creating a bow and arrow solves his problem of long-range weaponry, where he has become exceedingly proficient with his accuracy and rate of fire. Using it to substitute for such things as fire and lightning, it allows him to make combination moves with his hydromancy to benefit the styles that he already has. Using it to coat his body, he can control it so that the very touch of it on an opponent causes severe burns. Upon testing the energy upon various materials, it was found that it slices through metal as if it was a warm knife through butter.
Energy Signature When it comes to magic, every person capable of using such super-natural techniques gives off an energy signature that to almost everybody is identical. This is simply created inside of a person and is invisible to the human eye. Whilst it isn't emitted from the body in any particular form, it stays inside of them and in any technique they perform. In short, an energy signature is something completely invisible and almost undetectable to the human eye along with that of many other creatures that exist, without a severe amount of training that requires a long duration of time in studying, as well as an in depth understanding of how energy signatures work and how to see them and separate them in identification from all energy forms that may cause a slight confusion in comparison between various forms. For Medy, the identification of energy signatures is a practice which he has effectively mastered in his own study. It allows him to identify a person's identity from purely looking at them, storing it in his memory for use. That way, he can identify any move they send at him to the user and the general mass of the technique. If it is invisible, then he would be able to identify it from this energy signature as well as any invisible shield or such. If they would teleport to a location out of his primary sight, he could identify where it is they have gone by simply sensing for their signature, meaning he cannot be stealthed. This all requires having sensed this signature in the first place. Upon finding the energy signature of somebody else, he can use it to track them wherever they go, teleporting after them to give chase. Once you've upset him, there is officially no escape.

Character History
The term ‘child prodigy’ has been used numerous times over history to describe certain people, appropriate towards whatever abilities that may be present from birth. Perhaps it would refer to how they manage to progress in their education from a young age, advancing far more than those around them. It could also be used to be descriptive of how they may be seriously prolific in a certain skill that separates them from the average person, maybe in a sport or a hobby of the sort. In Medy’s case, the term would be used to describe the latter, a skill that was extremely common in the population where he was born. His name would quite naturally go down in history.
He was born on a far away planet that went by the name of Mystic Sky. This planet was different to all of the others that were anywhere nearby; the reason being that unlike the spherical planets around it, this one was flat. Four continents existed on this planet, going by the names of: Avalon, Athoz, Skyrealm and Titusville. Titusville would be home to Medy and his family, the smallest of the four, but famous in terms of its military strength. It was the host country of a legendary warrior who was truly feared by all others in the world for sheer ability. His name was Twilight Gray, a revered warrior who had mastered every aspect of battling. He had an ultimate defence that made him famous, able to block anything he wished it to. His offence was beyond description, able to summon the most devastating of magic in order to grant whatever wish he needed to fulfil. Whenever it came to a moment where Titusville needed to call upon help, Twilight would be the person they relied on, more than able to take on numerous soldiers alone and walk away completely unscathed. In warrior terms, he was the best there was. The Gray brothers, being a trio involving Twilight were feared throughout the world for their affiliation with Titusville and great strength. Rayvon and Rydor Gray being the younger two who whilst always standing in the shadow of their brother, would contribute just as much as he did and were ranked as being just as strong.
Born in Titusville, Medy would immediately be examined from birth to discover something. In every country, there were a select number of people who were able to use elemental magic that was unique to that country. Titusville specialised in producing hydromancers, those who specialised in the manipulation and creation of water. One in every fifty in the country were able to produce the required energy in order to utilize the element to its capability and Medy would prove successful in passing the tests that would show him as being quite successful in terms of being able to create the water element. He would therefore be selected to attend the academy of hydromancers in Titusville, located in the capital; Tiberian. From the age of four, Medy would leave his family in Samford, a small hamlet on the outskirts of the country and move to the boarding school academy where he would spend the first part of his life learning about what was to become of him.
The boarding school had a capacity of 50 people, the select few of the generation who had been found capable of hydromancy. There would be ten grades at this school, with five students in each grade, meaning that a teacher to student ratio was quite generous, allowing for students to be fully taught and educated successfully. The teachers at the school were all high quality hydromancers, possessing abilities to summon water and manipulate it at will without any difficulties. Medy would be in the best of hands at the Academy, under the watch of teachers who would help to hone his skills to their very best. In his first year, he would learn how summoning the element worked and how to manipulate the energy from your body in order to manipulate whatever may be present in the surrounding area. No student ever failed to move through a grade and the pattern wouldn’t be discontinued this year. Medy included, all the students would move into the second year.
The next couple of years would see the students putting theory into practice and learning how to manipulate masses of water to their very wish and controlling it to suit their needs. Finding this to be no problem whatsoever, Medy would pass through the grades at the top of the class, being able to manipulate water from nearby sources and using it to create a high powered jet that could be used in attacking force. The basics were there for him to use and he would continue his successes through the next couple of years, being able to manipulate water present in the air in order to create a light shower of rain or to create mist. Large sources such as lakes would become utilized for attacking purposes and for support methods. Medy was making a name for himself in the Academy, somewhat of a brilliant mage who was considered a prodigy by all of the teachers, being far more able than his classmates when it came to the elemental skill. The next years in the Academy would see him achieve certain abilities such as using water for various other means such as defensive skill and advanced attacking measures with ease, then becoming able to instead turn this use into a support skill, creating platforms of water through high pressure jets that would maintain his weight. What’s more, he became more than prolific when it came to creating the element. Where most needed to concentrate heavily to take moisture already present in the air and expand it, Medy only needed to consider the option and wave his hand, resulting in whatever form he needed becoming present. Calling him a natural was an understatement.
At the end of his time at the Academy, he had accomplished great things as a hydromancer. Summoning mass amounts of water wasn’t a problem, nor was manipulating any source in the vicinity to utilize to his whim. More advanced than anyone else in the Academy, more so than any of the teachers had seen in their teaching careers. Upon graduation from the Academy, he would be recognised for his superior skills and presented with a prize of recognition for his talent. The next stage up from the Academy was a place called the Institute, where all graduates would spend four years honing their skills at the next level and incorporating them for combat use so that they would be in perfect shape for a war involving their country. Receiving a scholarship which would allow him to be placed into the best possible classes and receive the best education possible. He was seen as the next in a long line of fighters who would be the main fighting force, those highly regarded for their immense skill in battle. Through the years at the institute, every student is assigned a mentor who will watch their progress during their final education years. Watching the progress of Medy as he made his way through the Academy had been none other than Twilight Gray himself. Due to the insane talents that the youthful Medy had managed to come into possession of during his time at the Academy, the talk of a new prodigy had grabbed the attention of those high up, including the legend himself. He would adopt Medy as an understudy, along with another student by the name of [insert name] from Athoz. He would mentor them both through the Institute, onto bigger and better things.
The point of the institute was to provide the students with a better knowledge of combat scenario and how to use their abilities to assist them in a battle. It would be the step between the basic learning and finally putting them to a good use. Twilight would see that his two students would have the best opportunities at enhancing their skills, turning them into something beyond what the Institute could imagine in terms of warriors. During these years, Medy would develop his hydromancy along with traditional battle skills, how to use a sword to fight and to use his general physical skills in order to out-last an opponent in every aspect of combat. What would occur to Twilight was that Medy was far more learned than most students of his age. He had educated himself far more than as expected, therefore having a greater knowledge than most other students. In his spare time, Medy would spend a great deal of time playing various games; mah-jong, chess, various card games as well as various board strategy games. Twilight would perform an IQ test in order to investigate more into the mind of his student, to see what potential was lurking inside. The results coming back would astound Twilight, finding that his student’s intelligence was off the charts for his age. He had himself a young genius. He would speak with Medy frequently, learning more and more about him as a person, discovering what genius thoughts his mind had come up with. Quite soon, Medy would adopt the title of ‘Gray’, referred to commonly in the Institute as ‘Master Gray’.
Achieving more and more in the way of great things was something that Medy was becoming used to, as he pushed the boundaries further of what was expected of a hydromancer. Under Twilight’s watchful eye, he would progress to become much stronger. Having mastered the art of controlling water, he would turn his attention to something that Twilight was famed for. The ability to control and create not just water, but liquids. By studying the properties of various liquids with due care and attention, Medy would focus on drawing the fluid properties from them and manipulating them, causing the form of the specific liquid itself to become manipulated. After months of study with Twilight, he would be able to perform the task of manipulating small amount of liquid upon wish, after having studied them. His general knowledge of liquids would greatly advance, until the point where he could identify every property of a liquid upon pure sight. By the end of his second year, Medy would have mastered this technique, living up to the name of his mentor who was famed for his ability to do so as well. Through general battle combat, Medy was also improving. He had applied his intelligence to battling and become more and more able to form strategies on the spot. He had been able to surpass Twilight at most games, beating him for strategy and proving exceedingly quick at solving puzzles and the like. Next, he would try to beat Twilight at something he had always failed to do so at; chess.
Having won at this and out-classing the master by simply tricking him with intentions, Twilight saw that Medy was more than ready to be deserving of more attuned physical abilities. Whilst Medy certainly exceeded more people in terms of his ability to wield a sword and use it in hand-to-hand combat, his master felt that such a prolific fighter would deserve so much more, his body surely being fit to reach boundaries that far extended human capabilities. He would begin work on designing small devices that could be implanted into a body, allowing for further performance of the body. Upon himself, Twilight had managed to utilize the very thing that made him what he was and use that to extend his physical capabilities. Perhaps, placing those into an implant would have a similar effect upon Medy. Whilst Twilight began working on this, Medy had been developing a far more sinister technique involving liquids, which he would unveil to Twilight fairly soon.
It was a practice match, whereby Twilight would get Medy to work on his defensive skills, his dodging and using liquids to block. A heated battle, whereby Twilight was really making Medy work to his limits in this, causing him to become cornered and work to escape the situation and learn to get out of those situations. It was when Medy became cornered by a large scale acid attack that he had to manipulate away, that suddenly a huge beam of energy would come rifling in his direction, aiming for his chest. Unable to avoid it, it would seem as if the shot would strike Medy with perfect accuracy, sending up a huge cloud of smoke. His mentor would watch carefully, having sensed that somehow his student had avoided danger completely. The smoke would clear, revealing Medy stood there with a large gaping hole in his chest where the beam had struck. Twilight’s eyebrows would narrow as he continued to watch. The look of curiosity would change to shock quite soon, as the hole suddenly got smaller as it began to close over and heal perfectly. Upon deeper analysis, Twilight would conclude that Medy was somehow… pure liquid. After a brief pause, Medy would sigh slowly and drop to the floor, completely and utterly fatigued.
By the end of his third year, Medy had completely mastered the technique. Changing his body to a complete liquid state was by no means a problem and he could control his body quite perfectly when doing so. He had effectively gone further than any other hydromancer before, even the legendary Eimi, who had succeeded in turning her body into pure water. Liquid was the ultimate limit as far as the matter of changing your body’s composition, so he had certainly reached a new level. Revered by everyone throughout Titusville for his capabilities, he was expected to move onto great things through his final year. In the gap between the penultimate year and his final, Medy would go into surgery to have an operation to implant the performance enhancers. Coming out of surgery, he would spend the next week in a hospital bed, letting the enhancers settle in and gradually become part of his body and for everything to heal up properly. The last year would be a big one, which he would need to be in full fitness for.
The task for the last year at the Institute would be for each student in their final year to create a completely unique technique of their own choice, which they would form under the watch of their mentors, aided should they wish to be. Therefore, Medy would refer to his tutor, asking him advice on what to aim for. A master of defence, Twilight would suggest focusing on a protective ability that would double up as something else. He would rope in his brother, Rayvon, for this, the younger brother of Twilight having an ability which would prove rather useful for practice. Aside from this experiment, Medy would focus on using these new enhancers, which boosted him physically far more than he had dreamed of. He was clocked at speeds of over 250mph at full speed, able to effectively travel distances of a mile in no more than a few seconds. Everything simply seemed slowly though, his reactions were greatly increased and he could move his body faster to allow himself to move in order to pull off evasion. The year passed by quickly and the time came for Medy to pull off his technique in front of the judges.
Medy would stand before them, ready to begin his performance as he let them introduce him and ask him to perform his skill. Two warriors would step forward, both aiming at Medy with their palms facing him. They would suddenly generate huge amounts of energy and send enormous blasts of pure energy at him, travelling at a huge velocity. The judges leapt to their feet in horror and stared as a huge cloud of dust and smoke kicked up around where Medy was stood. It would clear quickly; the sight where Medy had been was unbelievable. A dome surrounded him, having protected him from the blasts. Inside, Medy was almost crouching, shaking viciously as he attempted to control the dome. It was made of pure energy as well, around him in a small radius as it pulsated rapidly. Twilight and Rayvon would suddenly step forward, creating large-scale barriers around everybody and awaiting what would come next. The dome would erupt, sending an indescribable amount of power back outwards on an incomprehensible scale. Even the Gray brothers would struggle to keep their barriers upright, as they concaved inwards to keep the force out. Fortunately, through experience of the technique, they could keep the judges and everyone else safe. The technique would wind down, and Medy would be stood there, completely exasperated. Twilight would then address the judges, informing them that he hadn’t quite mastered controlling the energy of the dome when it had been attacked, but had done better than he had done previously to maintain its form. Needless to say, the judges were astounded as to the use of pure energy on a large scale and how it Medy had kept its form. He passed with flying colours, graduating with distinction.
As a graduation gift, Twilight would give both of his students part of his legendary inventory. For Medy, he would present him with his legendary sword, the Crimson Sonata. The sword would be a compliment to the young warrior, to acknowledge that he was worthy of such a fine weapon. Taking the blade appreciatively, he would then work side-by-side with Twilight for the next couple of years, keeping his skills honed and making sure that he would perfect his final energy technique. There was still the matter of learning how to maintain the energy form whilst it was being attacked, which Medy wanted to get solved as soon as possible. It would take him a further year to develop the stamina in order to use it continuously after learning to hold it, by which he had exceeded even more in his general skills than normally. Soon, Twilight would have a question to ask of his students.
He had a contact in Traverse Town, who had been able to relay information backwards and forwards between worlds, informing him of goings-on. Unable to visit the alternate worlds himself, having too much on his hand looking after Titusville, Twilight would instead send his students to solve any problems that would need to be dealt with. However, they wouldn’t act as heroes against the forces of evil; they would instead be sent to monitor and live life as they would in Mystic Sky. If the time came where things got out of hand, they would refer back to Twilight for advice on what to do. If need be, they would do whatever was necessary in order to stay alive and keep the worlds in balance. For now, they would simply be casual. With this switch, Medy would adopt a completely different look, using his liquid body to change his appearance, now appearing as the top picture in the Appearance section. He would switch back to his original image when meeting with his associates, to avoid being followed or tracked.

Other: For anybody who was stupid enough to see the name “Medy” and think “Oh my god! He’s created Demyx’s somebody!”… no. It isn’t a goddamn somebody, regardless of the similarities in the hydromancy technique. I was using hydromancy with this character before I even heard about KH, there is no influence from the game whatsoever, nor will there be in any of my characters aside from the biography including various information. I’m not a fanboy and I never will be, so don’t worry about seeing things like Organization robes in my appearance – you NEVER will.
Note - My profile was too long to fit in one post, hence the two. I just split it in sections rather than down the middle of the history. Looks better that way.
