Audition post (400 words):
“Oh come now,” she purred while trailing a gloved finger slowly up and down his chest, “It’s just a little fun. It’s not like she can even feel.” With a crafty smile and a cruel gleam in her wild blue eyes, Larxene briefly studied the disapproving expression etched across her comrade’s face, and then just as quickly dismissed it. “I don’t understand where you’re getting the idea that I’m doing anything-” she continued before pausing briefly to stifle a small fit of giggles that threatened to slip past her twisted smile, “-harmful to her. After all, damaging that little witch would essentially count as betrayal to the Organization, and we all know I’m no traitor.” Well, not yet anyway. Soon enough though, they would be making their move. No doubt Marluxia’s plans would come to fruition, and in mere few days she would become the new Organization’s second in command. For simply playing the part of ‘lackey,’ it was a pretty sweet deal. But for now, such grand schemes were only a whisper in the back of her mind, tickling her fancy every time a higher ranked member brushed her off or gave her another bad deal when it came to chores to be done around the castle.
A short moment of silence passed between the floor’s only occupants as she observed this alleged conversationalist like some sort of diminutive bug. Green eyes, spiky red hair, and deceiving tear drop marks beneath both eyes- pity he wasn’t in on the plot. Had she the heart, she might miss him. Unless he continued with this act of sulkiness, that is. She hated when he got like this. She hated being ignored or forgotten. At least, that is what her memories told her. Pulling her hand from his chest, she went right for the tip of his nose with a flick of her index finger and thumb. “Tch! I’m beginning to think that I’ll have a better time talking to Naminé then with you any longer,” she snipped in a well rehearsed irritable tone before placing the very same hand she had just assaulted him with on her hip.
In the time it took her to quirk her head arrogantly to one side, an inky black mass had already formed behind her- tainting the pristine white room with its dark presence. “Well, unlike yourself, I don’t have the time to stand around and mope. But I’ll be sure to check back after my watch to see if you’re still standing here, okay? Later, Axel.” With a quick wave of her hand, a wink of her eye, and three steps back, the darkness welcomed her into its depths. Her final words echoed across the room, seemingly lost and vainly searching out the body that no longer occupied the space from which they originated.
