I sketched something today. I'm going to ink it and color it tomorrow or some time soon. I used a reference sketch of the pose, and added clothes and stuff.

I also just finished putting my AP Art Portfolio together today, and turned it in. So hopefully that goes well.. meaning I get a good score. I'll post some pieces when I get the chance, some are too big to scan so I need to take a picture but yeah... also I'm going to be putting them on a CD.

Oooh, you take AP studio art!
Tell me about it....I'm taking it next year, and the teacher teaching it and curriculum makes me nervous. D: Especially having to turn in the AP portfolio at the end of the year. My friend has to retake it next year to finish the portfolio. But I only have one year to do so.....>_________<

Oh, yeah I had like half a year to do it cause I started later then all of the other students though there were only... 4 of us. But, now since its over I'm going along with the rest of the class which is Art 2. I've already done art 2 but they're doing new stuff that I hadn't done so yeah. I'm actually pretty proud of what I'm currently working on right now. It's a faerie in a forest. The assignment was half human half animal but it had to be in ink. So all shading and stuff was done with ink. Still working on it, but its coming along pretty well. =]
And I don't think I get my scores back for AP Art for awhile. I don't even believe I paid the full fee for it. >_< And, I read somethign that said if I don't pay for it I don't get my scores until I pay. I paid about a 3rd of the money already, just need to pay $30. (Well the PTSA paid for $55 of it cause my parents have already spent so much on me this year, Senior year FTW)

Yeah, AP tests do take a LOT more money than it's worth, in my opinion. I already had to pay too much this year for tests.
The only thing I'm worried about AP Art is the portfolio.
And the teacher. >.> He's a mean stiff, I heard.
We don't have an art 2, just normal drawing, which I'm in right now and then AP art. Next year, I'm going to be doing a lot of art....Photo 2, Commercial Art, AP art, then the after school art class.
...At least I won't be worrying about math and science. XD

It's too big to scan =3 Lol. And I suck at taking pictures of my drawings, they're never straight. And yeah, AP Art does take alot of money. I'm currently in two art classes....Art 2 and Computer Graphic Design. Eew, I had to take math >_< Algerbra 2. I almost failed. My teacher's actually pretty cool, I've had him for Art 1, Art 2 and AP Art (which is only a couple of students that are in Art 2 class). But, like they wanted it to be 'realistic' and stuff, and not cartoonish or anime-ish. And my friend she draws anime, and she got into AP Art not knowing that... and so she quit AP Art.

D: This is completely done with PEN??? I love the shadow values of your lines, and the textures...*whistle*
I can't draw with pen to save my life. >.< I constantly need an eraser. And I always worry about the shading.
Which is why charcoal is my best friend. =D
Oh, and also, you didn't do the background with pen, right? >.> That would be some kind of...super pen.

Well, I sketched it out in pencil. :P So, it wasn't totally done in pen but I shaded and traced in in pen. And the background, was done with like a pen that didn't have a fine point to it, like almost like a marker... I'm not sure what it was but the pen had India Ink in it.
Yeah, while I was doing the AP Art Portfolio, mostly all my pieces were in Charcoal. It was the fastest media to work with, and I had to do like 10 art works in about a week? >_<
