Character Race: Nobody Gargoyle

Character Personality: Able to be compared with Beast of Beauty and the Beast (rumors of Beast being inspirtation for Goliath), Goliath is a character of strong will and leadership skills. He is quick to anger, which is one of his downfalls as a fighter. With a firm grasp of what justice is, he attempts to return his kind to the stoneless state that they once roamed in and give the Gargoyle race a good name once more.

Character History

Gargoyles were once a race that were born to serve and protect the human race. As such, they were treated and respected as slaves have been since the beginning of time.
Goliath's mate, Demona, was one he loved dearly. Until, the attack came.
The Vikings came and attacked the kingdom. But, the Vikings were led by one Goliath and the rest of the Gargoyles would never have expected; Demona. Demona, using creatures known as Heartless, had sided with the Vikings and stormed the kingdom's castle. The gargoyles protected the castle as best as they could, but fell to the numbers of the Heartless and these creatures weird Heart-stealing abilities(the Vikings being of little threat).
Midbattle, the humans that the Gargoyles protected turned on the Gargoyles out of fear of more turning on them. So, the kingdom's strongest magician put a spell on them; that they would remain in stone until "the castle rose above the clouds".
Current day: David Xanatos bought the gargoyle statues of the castle and put them on his huge skyscraper, effectively wiping out the spell put on them. But, Goliath was the only one to awake. And, as he soon found, the second sun touched his skin, he was reverted back to a stone statue.
Forced to become a creature of the night, Goliath explored this new time era. But, after some time alone as the last Gargoyle (and from the grief of being betrayed by his lover), Goliath's Heart was thrown into dispear.
Such strong sorrow that it called forth the Darkness known as the Heartless. They promised him that, if Goliath gave them his Heart, they would reunite him with Demona, his friends, and take vengeance upon the Vikings. He accepted.
But, these creatures betrayed him. They took his Heart and left him to wander as a Darkened creature. Strange enough, he found the Darkness had amplified the spell, giving him abilities that he would call a curse. Because he turned to Darkness in hopes of being able to hug his love again, he was cursed; anything he touched would be turned to stone.
Again, the Heartless were his enemy. Besides having to deal with all his other problems, he now needed to find his Heart.
