I'm not sure. I won't know till later this afternoon, which really sucks.
If I end up having to put my dog down, then I'm not sure if I'll be in the best of moods to rp today or tomorrow... I can barely even focus right now.
So yeah, thought I'd give an early warning to a possible disappearance on my part.

Thanks you two.
Ugh... I didn't think I'd be so upset about a dog... -.-;
I must be getting soft. But I've had her for almost a decade. She's my first dog...

I know what its like to have a dog for a long time, then have to have it put down. Then again, it did try to kill me.... *ponders this*

I can't believe I'm getting teary eyed just reading this... how embarrassing. ><;
Of course, if she pulls through, I'll be even more embarrassed for making such a big deal out of all this, but I don't think I'll care so much about that...
I hope she pulls through... it just isn't her time... it just can't be her time yet... I was hoping for at least another good decade with her.

I'll pray for her to recover, Larxy. the world needs more dogs, and nobody wants you miserable. wish I could say more but I suck with cheering people up.

Thanks, Konaa. I think you're a lot better than you claim, as you've made me crack a smile a few times on the cbox. I appreciate it.

Hmm, I think you shouldn't feel guilty, if what you've said in the cbox is true: nothing can stop death, because death is always unpredictable. When one thinks that another is going to die, then usually the case is 'ok, he/she's gonna die, or he/she's not gonna die', but there's no way in telling which event will happen.
That said, if he/she does survive, they could still get hit by a car or whatnot later. Anything could happen. And the reason why death is so unpredictable is because sometimes, when you think someone's going to die, they don't, in which case when you think they're going to die, they might not even die, whereas in some cases, you're all 'la-dee-daa' and then suddenly they die. It's all in the logic, love =3
So all you can do is pray. If you haven't been feeding your dog right or whatever, don't feel guilty, because *points up* =P But if she's just old, then maybe her time is near ^^ Nothing lives forever.
Oh and another thing, Larxy: It's good to cry and get it out ^^ Don't be embarrassed, everyone cries, because, well, it's a natural stress-reliever, isn't it? xP

We put our dog of many years down a few years back due to its long-lasting ill health. I didn't cry like my sister did, so she called me heartless. I felt that was uncalled for...
Well the point is that there's a lot of people, like me, who probably know how you generally felt when you found out there's a chance you might have to put your dog down. I know you already knew that but sometimes it helps to hear it anyway in these situations, I've found.
( People who know how it feels to put down a dog that DIDN'T try to kill them, I mean... <.< )

Heh, I was always told that crying was for the weak and that 'warriors/soldiers don't cry.' I know its probably natural and alright to do, but it's hard to shake off such an idea still today. ^^;
Still, I feel guilty. She had a seizer last night, and I'm wondering if she maybe got into something? Or ate something bad? All she had was water, dog food, and a thumb sized piece of pizza crust for a treat. Could it have been that?
She's had minor seizers before, I think only two though. They were scary as hell, but only lasted a moment and she was fine right after them. This time though her eyes rolled back, she wouldn't stop thrashing on the floor, and when it was over she just went limp. I had no idea what to do, except hold and pet her. She wouldn't move for hours, or drink anything either. I finally got her to lick a little water from my hand before I went to work. Thankfully my sister was available to watch her today. I called an hour ago, and my sister said she'd started moving a little, but her movements are very slow and wobbly.
I feel guilty for not taking off work, but I've already taken two days off and we're understaffed due to my boss having surgery and my supervisor being her usual privileged self and taking off early and coming in late.
edit: Thank you, Bilby.
