Character Personality:
Friendship? Love? Loyalty? Petty things such as that mean nothing to him. He has a notion that all men, at some point in their lives, become untrustworthy and from then on stay untrustworthy. It really matters little to Xacesh, mostly due to his loner attitude and truthfully he’d rather do things on his own. Friends, likewise, are seen as distractions and he’d much rather have a perfect focus on his work.
Anything and everything he does is to better promote himself. He could care less about the people surrounding him and he will only use/manipulate them to his advantage when it's deemed necessary. "You're hanging by a rope off a cliff and need his help? But the doorway to the next room is closing, so see yah." If you don't think you can trust him... you're right.
Death is of little worry, being he has accepted alchemy and it's teachings; he has accepted life so far and would gladly accept what were to follow. Alchemy is his number one passion, and he is not afraid to risk everything just to continue learning it's secrets. Being the best is, essentially, the only driving force keeping him to life.
Throughout his life there have been many times that Xacesh has wished that he hadn’t heard something, and after some time he eventually just developed a selective hearing. If you were to ask him a question but got no answer, don’t think twice about knocking him upside the head; he probably thinks little of you and/or just is not listening.
Perfection is a must, which helps him to carefully strategize but at the same time causes him to spend a lot of time on one thing. If he is fully driven by something, he will stretch the time it would normally take him to finish it, just to be able to keep himself occupied, or for an attempt to feel enjoyment.
From the outside, Xacesh tries to always keep a tough appearance, making it seem like he doesn't like anyone to get close to him. This normally puts others away from him, falling exactly where he wants them to be.
Character's Appearance:
Reaching a height of 6'2", Xacesh is pretty well chiseled from head to toe. He has a body of a demi-god, muscled yet not bulky. His arms & legs have been trained/toned and though his chest couldn't cut diamonds, there are signs of a four-pack of abs. His neck-length white hair is just left down, and will sometimes cover his blue-grey eyes.
He is always wearing a black coat, slightly resembling a lab coat, that hides his other clothing. Underneath the coat, Xacesh wears a white button up shirt and white slacks. The clothing is overall very plain. His shirt is normally open, revealing his toned chest, and it's sleeves seem to have been separated from the shirt to show off his biceps before continuing to cover his forearms and wrists. The white pants have been cut at the knees and take a more ripped look around the cuffs. His red tie has been left slightly undone, allowing it to hang loosely around his neck. When not in battles, he also likes to wear a pair of black boots and gloves.
Under the layers of clothing, Xacesh's body has been marked in several different spots. These are the teachings of the Alchemists, branded straight onto Xacesh's body by himself. There seems to be a power in the tattoo's and they give off an eerie glow whenever he uses the alchemy that the tattoo belongs with.

Weapon Name: Kenkyu Shiryo
Weapon Appearance: Kenkyu Shiryo
A pair of iron grieves and gloves that allow for easy movement, while still being able to deliver a powerful hit. The grieves reach up to the knee and the gloves go to just before his elbows. Atop the grieves there are three blades as well as another blade located on the heel. The gloves are like shuko, with three claw-like blades located on the palm.
Atlantica: When in Atlantica, the grieves are transformed into a "fin form". They appear as a single metallic ring wrapped around the end of his tail and stretches until halfway up his tail. In the mid-backside of the ring is a single large blade, which acts like an ax when the tail is swung towards the opponent. The gloves remain the same.
Abilities:
-> Calcination - Tattoo - Using this ability, Xacesh can spit out a stream of black oil, which is extremely corrosive. It travels in a curved arc and when it hits the ground it will slowly spread to a 5'x5' area. If in water, it appears to act as a squids ink, spreading to a cloud of black goop 10'x10'x10'. If touched, the person would receive severe burns, ranging from first to third degree burns, depending on how long the target had the chemical on them. Requires a 2 post cool down and chemicals will last 1 post (after use) before it dries up. Underwater: Requires 3 post cool down and lasts 2 posts after use before dissipating.
-> Digestion - Tattoo - Xacesh heats up his body to the point that Kenkyu Shiryo bursts into flames. Any punches or kicks that are landed after this ability has been activated also deal a scorching mark, often resulting in third degree burns if made contact with the skin. This ability lasts 3 posts and require a cool down of another 3 turns. If used underwater, the ability will only last for 2 turns and requires a 4 turn cool down. Kenkyu Shiryo: Digestion Form
-> Putrefaction - Tattoo - A cloud that can spread to a 10’x10’x5’ area spews from Xacesh’s mouth. This poison can cause plant life and possibly even objects made of plants or animals to rot or decompose at an accelerated rate. Weapons, living creatures, minerals, and anything made of minerals cannot be effected by this ability. This can do light damage to an opponent, and if they don’t leave the area, they could suffer from third degree burns to the skin and possible poisoning if inhaled. Poison does small damage per post for 5 posts at max. Requires 3 post cool down and lasts 5 posts in an enclosed area and 3 outside. Unable to use underwater.

All A Dream?
Zanarkand. A seemingly unwavering paradise, where both technology and religion have been coinciding for over a millennium. Yes, there had been conflict in the past, but it had been resolved and now a calm had taken it's place. The city was always prosperous and almost all problems could easily be solved with a simple game of Bitzball. Chase loved his peaceful homeland that he had been brought into. Though he did not grow up in poverty, he likewise wasn't living the life of luxury either. A simple life was the norm in Zanarkand. All one would need was some family or close friends and they had everything. In this fashion, Chase knew he was fortunate, having a mother, father, and older brother there for him, as well as a few friends he'd trust with his life.
Getting older, Chase(17) began to grow fond of legends and Zanarkian mythology. The texts spoke of an ancient people with the ability to raise creatures from their temple prisons. These beings; these summoners, were used during a great war, where most of them were wiped out. To say Chase wasn't intrigued by the tales would have been a lie. He became obsessed with learning more and eventually stumbled across Alchemy.
His studies only intensified and eventually that was all he was doing, besides eating and getting a couple hours of sleep a night. When Chase(19) began to take the teachings he learned about into practice, he realized that he had a talent with magic. Amazed with the discovery, he focused everything he could on learning Alchemy to "better this world".
Truly, times were as good as ever for Chase; too bad it could only last for so long. Heartless. The beasts rampaged the city, causing utter destruction and chaos. At the time, Chase(20) was at his house where he had been for months now. His three oldest friends had stopped by to convince him to come with them to the nights Blitzball game, but it wasn't altering Chases mind.
The screams. He can still hear them in the back of his mind. They even reached inside the building, though they were surely miles away. Thousands and thousands of tortured wails echoed as the beasts ravaged the city, feasting on the many hearts available. Not too long after, the beings of darkness began to spread, eventually phasing into the buildings. Surrounded, Chase watched in a horrid awe as his friends were beaten and had their hearts ripped from their bodies. The transformation into Heartless themselves soon followed, which Chase admitted, was study worthy. A shame the three were quick to turn on Chase; swiping his heart just as theirs had moments ago.
His work. It was all going to be for not. His hopes and dreams of a better world were now far from his reach as he plunged deeper and deeper into the darkness. He couldn't take it all. Passing out was praiseworthy. At least he could not see his own transformation in the dark depths.
Reality Trip
Waking up, Chase found himself in a wasteland of ruins, in more than utter confusion. For almost a month, he wandered the odd new world he had been taken to, finally finding a small cluster of people known as the Al Bhed. They knew many things about machinery and even some things about Alchemy as well. Chase(21) used them, plain and simple. Learning of the 12 processes, he requested that the markings that represented these steps be placed upon his body in key places that were believed to be sacred with them. They followed his wishes, though warned him many times, and marked Chases body with the signs of the heavens. He had change. Chase(22) was far past obsession and no longer wanted to "better the world", but "better himself". He needed to know more, know everything there was to Alchemy. Only then could he attempt his other dream, making a world of his own rule.
With the help of the Al Bhed, who were more than happy to let him out of their hair, and their advanced technology, Chase was able to travel to other worlds via The Grandus XI. Downside was Chase had no clue how to operate the vehicle, point-in-case why a group had already been assembled. Three women and one guy; Regina (Reg) the pilot, Breg the mechanic, Lacia the ships navigator, and Mynki the ships weapons operator. Sure this "team" would slow him down in his pilgrimage, or was it a conquest, either way he would manipulate them just as he had done to the Al Bhed.

Notes/Explanations:
- 1) Rikku used Alchemy(Synthesis) in X and Alchemist was a dress-sphere in X-2, so I would assume they also had some knowledge to this too in some form of text.
- 2) Though he is from Spira, if he were to run into any canon characters (Yuna, Seymour, etc.) that would normally be known by the general populace, he wouldn't know them, obviously due to his past being mostly in the alternate reality.
- 3) He has yet to learn about Nobodies and their powers. He also hasn't changed his name... being he wouldn't know/think to change his name. So, when/if I meet another Nobody IC, he will go by the Nobody name I placed.
- 4) For right now, the ships crew remains on the ship and are NPC's. I MAY decide later to use them as actual characters.
