Audition post (400 words):
The World That Never Was. Home to the Nobodies. A once powerful group of humanoid Nobodies that called themselves Organization XIII based here, commanding many Heartless and Nobodies from the sidelines, only to fight in battle when absolutely necessary. They were easily distinguished by the black robes they wore, which hid their faces until they revealed them. They seem to have disappeared, and now, the Nobody world seems deserted. Some believed their story ended, but others weren't so sure. For you see, people had passed through this world since then, and some have reported hearing whispers about Kingdom Hearts and Organization XIII.
And now the rumors, the whispers prove true. Organization XIII had been revived somehow, and they were once again building Kingdom Hearts from a seemingly endless army of Heartless. One by one they began to resurface from the depths in which they hid, in the same order they had joined. And now, it was Saïx's turn. Saïx, after his battle with the Keyblade wielder disappeared into the darkness, and ended up at End of the World, where he gathered strength. The Keyblade wielder was now a nusciance, one that had to be dealt with, for Saïx could not afford to lose his chance at his heart again. If he could feel anger, then the anger he would've felt towards losing Kingdom Hearts and to the Keyblade's master would have been easily compared to that of the sun's heat. And it would've been just as close.
Thud, thud, thud, thud. The sound of footsteps could be heard almost anywhere in the Nobodies' stronghold. But then again, there seemed to be no one there. The grey and white walls, as well as the floor seemed rather bland, although at the same time they held a certain aspect to them that drew one's attention to them. They design wasn't one you see very often, and neither was the substance it was made out of. It had a sort of machine feel to it, and being made out of metal only added to this.
The sound of footsteps rang once more. But this time, there was a figure that could be seen making them. This figure was dressed in a black robe, which seemed to be a symbol of belonging, as well as hiding the face of the wearer quite easily. The figure stopped, his path blocked by a small group of Heartless.
"You pathetic Heartless. You are no match for my power. Do you want to end up like so many others of you?"
He held out his hand, and a weapon that seemed to be a cross between a hammer and a sword appeared in his hand. He twisted his wrist, giving the tip of it a new section with a good number of spikes. He looked up to see the remnant of the moon that was Kingdom Hearts still there. This caused him to be filled with power, much like that of a rampaging beast. He glided up into the air, glowing a light blue as he did so. He came back down after a few seconds and began swinging wildly, slamming his weapon into the ground, and anything that got in his way. While in his state, his mind was flooded with fake feelings of hatred, anger, frustration, his mannerisms during this time were beast- like. The impact from his weapon hitting the ground caused a shockwave that destroyed three of the Heartless. Only four remained. He stopped glowing, and seemed to exit a state of temporary insanity. He paused for a moment, as if trying to regain his composure. He sneered, for if he had feelings, he would've rather liked that state.
He turned his attention to the remaining Heartless. Two jumped at him and he knocked them back, sending them into a nearby wall. They dispersed in a cloud of darkness. Then he walked to the other two, slamming the spikes of his weapon into one, and kicking the other, only to swipe at it with his weapon a few moments later. The Heartless were gone, but he knew it wasn't a permanent disappearance. Only the Keyblade had the power to release the hearts that he had just fought. He could care less that those Heartless got in his way, they were pests that numbered in the thousands. The Keyblade master was their exterminator, but that didn't mean Saïx wasn't going to fight a few if they got in his way. To him, they were only useful because by defeating them with the Keyblade, it meant Kingdom Hearts was one heart closer to perfection.
'The Keyblade'. Thinking about it brought back the memories of the Organization's schemes. It had the power to lock the worlds' hearts, as well as the hearts of people. It even had the power to unlock things such as the Underdrome. Saïx held a "feeling" for the Keyblade wielder that was a feeling of respect, as well as loathing. The Keyblade wielder had stopped their efforts once before, and would without a doubt try again.
"Our little plan failed Leader. He turned against us." The he Saïx referred to could have been multiple people, but Saïx knew that the Leader would know who he was talking about.
"Kingdom Hearts. Where is my heart? Does it even exist anymore?" He looked at the sky, only to see that what had remained of Kingdom Hearts had finally disappeared.
"It is gone. Now we'll have to start all over again. which means it will be even longer until I see my heart, until I become whole. We will rebuild, and this time I have a charade that cannot fail, for we so richly desire our hearts." Saïx looked down. He was "disappointed" at the way the events turned out. Kingdom Hearts was gone, and he failed to do as he was told. This to him, would only make things worse.
(Thought I'd mention that when he mentions the Leader, he is still talking to himself.)
