i'm officially obsessed. I read the first 2 books (AI buster and AI buster 2) and I just got .hack//Sign. Watched 2 episodes and it's the most confusing show ever, but it's so awesome. Anyway, yeah, just thought I should get that out. Anyone know a .hack RPF?

I just finished .hack//sign last week. Yeah, the series starts off slow and confusing, but it picks up and makes more sense later on. Then it makes even more sense when you get/finish the first four games with Kite.

I don't even know who half the characters are...there's Tsukasa...Mimiru, Bear or however you pronounce it...the rest haven't mentioned their names....
OH and Sora haha, I find that funny, but I like him.

I really like all the characters, to tell the truth... well, minus a certain Long Arm, but you'll meet him much later...
Mm... Bear and Sora are amongst my favs. Perhaps I'll delve more into my opinions and thoughts once you've progressed further into the series.

Well I was once the oppresive g. mod at a .hack//GU forum ages ago. If I'm not mistaken its dead by now as there were scarcely any new members coming in by the time I left, and the attitude in the forum was very lax. I could always go back and check if you really want. To be honest though most .hack forums I've seen have little to no activity and are typically dead within the first month they're created. Its a sad fact since .hack has an amazingly original story and atmosphere, but typically people phail at executing it well as a forum.
Don't take my word for it though. There might be someone else here who knows a fun active one. I haven't tried to look for .hack forums for awhile.

Ah, alright. I think you and Avenger were once talking about a .hack RPF...would you know where to find that?
Edit, I didn't see your post, Mem. Hm, well if it died, it's fine, I'll keep looking. But yeah, maybe if I finish getting caught up in the series I might make one one day...we'll see how well that works out. haha.

Well I don't remember any such convo with Avenger, but maybe that's me getting old...*tear*. Against my will I have found it for you (honestly it wasn't that hard). Its somewhat active it seems. If you must contact the head admin and tell him a guy named Demien/Kuhn sent you. He should know who I am. A .hack rp would be an interesting thing to do... but I could definately see it being very hard to accomplish. Still, it might be quite the worthwhile challenge.
Unfortunately, I don't know any of the characters past Sign and the first four games, so that might hinder me somewhat if I wanted a canon or were expected to know the basis of the rp, which is usually the case. Though, I've never played CoM either, so it's not like I couldn't pull of a character after enough research...
Maybe I'll look up some quizzes and see what characters I'm like from GU...
