General Character Information
--------------------------------------
Character Name: Hercules
Character Age: 20
Character Gender: Male
Character Race: Demigod
Character Position: Good
Character Personality: Hercules is a man of truly incredible courage and heart. In fact, he's got the stereotypical personality of the powerful hero who cares for all and is very trusting. Maybe because he is a stereotypical hero, and one of the best at that. He once got caught up in the fame of being a star and mistook for being a hero, but he's vowed never to make that mistake again. Hercules is willing to do just about any task or favour for those who ask and is protective and loyal to his friends. Also much like old stereotypes Herc has a habit of taking all the world's weight upon his shoulders(Once literally). He can usually count on his friends to look out for his better interest, though. When evil is at hand Hercules won't hesitate to defend the innocent from harm, no matter how dangerous. Also... sometimes Herc can still be a little naive when it comes to women, but lucky for him there's only one woman in his life he ever worries about. Hercules loves his wife Meg more than just about anything, and that does affect his decisions when she's involve in them.
Character's Appearance: Disney's Hercules
--------------------------------------
Battle Information
--------------------------------------
Weapon Name: Herc's Sword
Weapon Appearance: It takes on the appearance of nothing but an ordinary gladiator sword, but the blade is built to be wielded by Hercule's matchless strength without ever breaking from the strain, and the craftsmanship is top quality. As Phil says, a hero is only as good as his weapon.
Weapon Name: Herc's Shield
Weapon Appearance: A yellow shield with a cloud and thunderbolt design imprinted on it. The shield is sturdy enough to even resist attacks by the gods themselves if necessary. Really though it's meant more for resisting the strength of the titans. The itself shield is relatively small and clearly not meant for full-body defence. It actually almost makes for a better bludgeoning weapon than it does a protective shield.
Abilities:
God-Like Strength
Though mortal, Hercules retains every ounce of the nearly immeasurable strength he would have had as an immortal god. With his physical might alone he can defeat powerful monsters many times his size and even send them flying after their trouncing, all without having to exert nearly as much effort as other heroes. Because his physical ability is so vastly superior to that of a human it should come as no surprise that Hercules has methods of attack other mortals wouldn't be up to, such as fearless skull-bashing or high speed rotations, not to mention running or jumping powered by his amazingly strong legs. Almost nothing is too much for the god-like strength of Hercules, which seems as boundless as his heroic courage. With his might alone he wrestled all four raw elemental forces that were the titans and threw them into the depths of space at once, though they were later revived by Hades to use against the Key Bearer Sora.
Hero Aura & Aura Guard
Some say that in the heat of battle Hercules positively glows. It's not a just a saying or a trick of the eye though, as the Greek's body definitely gains a keen yellow shine when facing powerful foes in combat. The Hero Aura is a powerful protective energy which Hercules gained after he earned back his godhood but chose to live as a mortal. With it's divine protection he become nigh invulnerable to damage or other harmful effects for certain periods of battle, usually when he needs it the most since it isn't called on consciously by Herc himself. The protection of this ability also stands against ordinary dispelling techniques that may be used by enemies, but strong skills specialized in breaking protective fields may still force it to release prematurely. When in battle with allies Hercules can also consciously focus his Hero Aura outwards from his body, creating a large bubble of faint yellow light around others called the Aura Guard. This protective field can encapsulate a circular area with a maximum diameter of ten meters. This guard does not encapsulate Herc himself but is created next to him while he maintains physical contact with it. During this time his usual Hero Aura protects the man himself. This energy can defend anyone from enemy attacks as all damage and harmful effects towards the creator's friends inside the bubble are reduced to nothing as if each had their own Hero Aura. The energy dome itself doesn't bar anyone, friend or foe, from passing in or out of it freely. In order to generate this field, however, Hercules must remain in one place, thus losing his ability to move freely as he does with a normal Hero Aura. On the plus side this inability to move or attack and the willing concentration on the Aura Guard, including it's nature of allowing anything to move through it, let it avoid barrier-breaking measures for the sake of the safety of others. On the other hand, if such an ability can be used by the enemy Hercules himself cannot move to avoid it being aimed directly at himself so long as he is maintaining the Aura Guard. Herc doesn't mind though since it means enemies will be more inclined to attack him rather than the people he is trying to protect. A true hero never lets their friends get hurt. Hero Aura & Aura Guard last for a maximum of two consecutive turns and have a cool-down period of three turns for each turn either was in effect.
Divine Blast
Releasing a burst of the divine energy that now lingers in his body since regaining his godhood, Hercules creates a yellow blast of power. This creates a spherical zone of attack roughly three meters in radius from the hero's center of gravity. The blast of pure power is far superior to mere magic or physical types of energy, capable of causing large damage to living things and destroying the most solid of structures when necessary, even those of diamond stone. Divine Blast has a four turn cool-down period.
Additional Abilities:
Force Punch
The technique trained by Phil and Hercules for a long time to make use of his God-Like Strength has finally been perfected. In initiating Force Punch Hercules appears to simply be throwing a large straight punch. With this ability however the force of his own strength then carries the demigod's entire body a distance of up to ten meters, generally determined by just how much strength he uses for it, across the ground or through the air at a high speed.
Aura Spheres
Hercules focuses his aura through his body and out from his hands to create two large transparent spheres of light with glowing yellow cores, each easily the size of Hercules himself. These spheres float in place after creation and can exist on the field unused for up to three turns before they disappear. The aura energy is solid to the touch and therefore can be used as a physical shield if necessary and this also means that they can be launched at enemy targets by Hercules or his allies. At the cost of their existence the Aura Spheres have a dispelling effect that can nullify enemy energy, barriers, or power-ups such as temporary stat increases. Their divine power can even remove the invulnerability of a god within their own domain, such as Hades in the Underworld. If there are no hostile energies or powers to dispel then the spheres can cause damage to a target by releasing their power upon contact. Such an attack is similar to the Divine Blast, though on a much smaller scale. There's nowhere evil can be safe from a true hero. Aura Spheres has a cool-down period of three turns.
Hero Fist
Hercules focuses his demigod powers into an arm, causing it to glow brightly. Along with a strengthened attack power Hero Fist also gives Herc's punch the ability to break through physical guards and shatter barriers or temporarily enhanced defences that his matchless physical force alone cannot penetrate, or simply allow him to safely use his great strength against metaphysical targets that it would usually be useless against. Abilities such as reflect spells or even a temporary invincibility status can also be broken through by the immense energy of this ability. A true hero's punch will always defeat evil. Hero Fist's effect can remain for up to two turns if it goes without striking a target and has a cool-down period of three turns.
I Can Go the Distance!
An ability that triggers in Hercules during periods of extreme danger, fatigue or stress on his body or mind. Like the hero he is Herc will refuse to give up even in the most dire of circumstances and his willpower will summon forth his greatest strength of all, giving birth to a new hope. This ability's materialization is a response based on the what the demigod needs the most. Depending on how his training and instincts call him to attempt to respond to his situation the hero's statistical traits will rise up in their necessary proportion in order to make sure he accomplish that goal. If he's exhausted but needs more power his strength or magic stat will rise. If he needs to endure a terrible burden his defence or magic defence will rise. If he needs to move faster his speed will rise. If he can't possibly fight any longer or he's losing too much blood his stamina will actually start to replenish itself by seventy-five percent of his maximum and his wounds will actually start to close or mend themselves, though this particular healing effect is so strong that it cannot be called on more than twice during a single battle no matter how much it may be needed. This amazing power is the manifestation of the strength of the hero's heart which only a true hero can wield. It is the power to believe and never give up for the sake of what he must protect. Hercules can only use this great power to go the distance once every eight turns.

Character History
--------------------------------------
Hercules is the son of the gods, the rulers of Mount Olympus Zeus and Hera. When he was born the god of the Underworld Hades was told by the Fates that the child would one day grow up and prevent the deity from seizing control of Olympus. Hades' underlings Pain and Panic were sent to kidnap the child and feed him a potion that would steal away his divinity. Afterwards that they would be able to kill him. During the process they were interrupted and Hercules failed to drink the very last drop, causing him to become mortal but to retain his god-like strength. Also because of the interruption Hercules escaped Pain and Panic's attempt on his young life and was taken in by a human couple who did not realize what he really was, but knew from the medallion that was with Herc his name and that he was connected to the gods.
Growing up Hercules never was able to fit in with other people because of his terribly unnatural strength. Eventually his parents revealed that he was not their son and that he should seek out his true heritage by asking the gods. After meeting with an avatar of Zeus Hercules learned that he was born as a god of Mount Olympus, and thus set out to be taught by a hero trainer named Phil so he could become true hero and regain his lost divinity.
Hercules' incredible power eventually made becoming a heroic star in the world rather easy, but true heroism still escaped him. Using the demigod's feelings for one of his contracted servants Megara, Hades plotted to use a contract to rob Hercules of his strength for twenty-four hours in exchange for her safety so that he could be killed while the Underworld ruler and the titans overthrew Olympus. Herc decided to fight even without his strength, but Megara ended up getting hurt. Because of that Hades' deal was broken and Hercules' strength returned, allowing him to aid in defeating the titans. Despite his efforts Meg died and the demigod went down to the underworld to retrieve her life in exchange for his own. Hades thought it was the easiest deal he'd ever made, but Hercules' courage was that of a true hero when he dived into the underworld river and it caused his immortality to return. With that he successfully recovered Meg's life and returned to Mount Olympus as a god. Because Megara was and always would be a human, however, she could not come with Hercules to Mount Olympus. Instead of staying a god Hercules decided to live his life as a mortal demigod so he could be with his love, where he belonged.
Working his way back up as a true hero, Hercules protected the Olympus Coliseum from Hades' monsters and evil forces for a long time. Even when the underworld god joined forces with Maleficent and plotted against the Keyblade wielder Sora Hercules was there to lend a hand by saving the fledgling hero from the jaws of Cerberus. He also helped Sora and his friends train in the Coliseum, matching their power against his and helping to teach them what it meant to be a true hero, just as he had once needed to learn.
It was a year since Hercules had seen Sora when he was beginning to get overwhelmed by the constant challenges Hades was sending forth. Megara wanted to ask Hades to stop and Sora decided to help her, but instead she was ultimately used by the ruler of the underworld in a plan to trick Sora into unlocking the forbidden coliseum, the Underdrome. Hercules fought in that Coliseum against Sora's deceased and brainwashed friend Auron, holding him off without actually hurting him until Sora could break Hade's control over the lifeless warrior. With peace restored to the world once again Hercules set back to rebuilding the Coliseum after it had been destroyed by Hades' Hydra during an earlier battle with the the Key Bearer and Herc's friends. Hercules promised not to let the weight of the world get to him like he had before.
It has been a while since the Coliseum was rebuilt. In the new age of inter-world travel heroes from not just all over Herc's world but also other worlds across the Sea of Space have come to the famous arena to test their strength and courage. It was a great time for the Coliseum and Hercules remained ready to face any challengers that dared to challenge him, hoping to inspire the next generation of heroes that would rise up one day and continue to spread the meaning of true heroism to all. During this happy time Hercules and Megara tied the knot and have been happily married for several months now. Hercules has been learning how to juggle his duties between being a hero and being a husband, but as long as Megara believes in him he feels everything will work out.

Hercules can travel from world to world, if absolutely necessary, using his winged steed Pegasus. That said, Herc doesn't make it a habit to leave his wife behind in order to make such trips unless it really can't be helped. Pegasus can be rode into battle as well, but if so it has no special abilities other than flight.

Hercules could feel it like he'd always felt it before. This sensation... this weight. The weight of the choice. It was a classic choice for a hero, really. Villains across the worlds and throughout the ages had been using predicaments just like these to trap heroes and force them to reveal their true selves. Hercules himself had faced this circumstance before as well, but here it was again. Every time he was forced to make a difficult choice.
Would he choose the love of his life, or his best friend?
Such a thing must never be easy for anyone, Herc imagined. Two different yet two very strong bonds of love, tested against one another. At times perhaps it was the defining moment of a hero, the true test of their mettle. Many heroes have failed this test, either losing both or keeping just one. Hercules had managed to keep both of them so far each time he's faced this problem. Still, how much longer could that luck run for? Despite that question Hercules knew he had no choice when he reached out to touch Meg. He saw her lovely eyes and felt her hand come around his as he brought her up with a mere fraction of his strength. Today he would have to choose her.
"Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt," Hercules said with his usual innocent charm as he moved his arms to hold Megara. "Phil's gonna be mad again, though."
How many times had he let Meg talk him into leaving training early now? Probably too many for him to keep track of, though he was sure Phil was keeping score. Rule #37, never miss practice for anything but a hero emergency, wasn't a rule Herc's love seemed to have much love of her own for. Still, he was the one who let her talk him into breaking it, like right now as he began to start walking with her down the path he used for his running exercises. At least he didn't give in every time.... but he certainly did for most of them. And when he didn't it usually involved Phil actually being there to prevent him from doing so.
Oh well, a true hero isn't made by the rules. They're made by following their hearts.
