The Witch's Gift
Weapon Appearance
A scimitar made of pure steel with a gold hilt. The hilt is encrusted with a ruby in the shape of the rose. It was given to Adam by the witch (see history). The sword is for Adam, not Beast.
Abilities
Curse of the Rose: With this ability Beast is able to freely transform back and forth from human to monster whenever he pleases. In the form of Beast he gains incredible physical strength and stamina, capable of matching up against even the most formidable of Heartless and Nobodies with his brute force alone. His five senses and reflexes also become far superior to a human being's when in the form of the Beast.
Blessing of the Rose: Now that it is meant as a power to protect rather than a curse upon his life, Beast gains new benefits when in his transformed state. His body becomes magically protected, capable of regenerating wounds quickly or even restoring lost body parts. During any one turn, the ability can heal Beast by 30, 60 or 90% with a cool-down of one turn for every 30% it healed at once and a maximum overall healing limit of 150%. Luckily, because of Beast's monstrous health and stamina, it is usually more than enough.
Howling Moon: A devastating energy attack, Beast moves forward on all fours into his enemies, creating shock waves of white light that spread out and damage them further. After four bursts Beast rears back and howls loudly, creating a spiraling burst of energy from his heart that fills the immediate area and attacks all enemies in range. Howling Moon has a cool-down of five turns.

Prince Adam was born into a royalty immediately. No one was ever sure of what happened to his parents, but it did not matter. He was king, and a very rude one at that. Constantly ordering his servants around like they were dogs, everything was "ME ME ME". Until one day, when Adam was 11, his life changed.
A very old woman appeared at the door of his castle on a cold, wet night. She begged for a place to stay, but Adam slammed the door in her face, leaving her in the rain. Another knock at the door, and the infuriated Adam opened it. This time, a beautiful young woman was there. She told Adam that because of his selfishness and rudeness, he would be cursed and forced to turn into an evil and hideous looking beast. And if he could not get a woman to love him within the lifetime of the rose she gave him, he would be stuck in that form forever.
No matter how much Adam begged, the witch transformed him and disappeared. Thus, Adam became Beast. And his whole castle was transformed.
Beast kept the rose, and for 8 years, he failed at his goal...until SHE came. Belle, was her name. She came looking for her father who Beast had captured. Beast agreed to free her father to keep her, thinking that he could get this one to love him. However, this girl was different. She was so pure, trying to teach Beast...manners...and kindness.
Beast grew to truly love this girl...but one day, she was kidnapped. Beast did not know what he did, but his anger seemed to have transported him to Belle. Little did he know, he narrowly escaped the dark, nothingness of his world being destroyed.
Beast traveled to a strange world, with a castle like his. There he encountered a boy named Sora. He also encountered two animals known as Donald and Goofy. Beast went through impossible odds to eventually save Belle. He brought her back to their world and the adventures were over...or so he thought....
Soon after, someone invaded Beast's Castle. He called himself Xaldin. Xaldin manipulated Beast's feelings, though Beast did not see this, so that he could turn Beast into a Heartless. However, Beast's old friend, Sora, came to the rescue, showing Beast the light. Together, they defeated Xaldin, and saved the castle again.
Months passed, and Belle's old...er...lover, as Beast saw it, returned and invaded Beast's castle. Beast fought hard and killed the man, but killed himself by doing so. However, Belle truly loved him, and she confessed it, bringing Beast back to life and transforming him back to human.
Adam and Belle lived together, and married. However, Adam soon learned that all was not well. The witch returned to the castle one evening, telling him of everything happening in the universe. Concerned for his castle's safety, Adam asked if the witch could help him out. She simply smiled and conjured a sword of steel with a gold hilt. Within the hilt, was a ruby in the shape of a rose.
The witch also granted him another gift...the gift to change from human to beast. She then left him with the weight of the world's fate on his shoulders...however, Adam did not know what he had gotten himself into....
Later, Adam permitted a party in his castle, however he did not show up for fear that he might change by accident. He heard much screaming, but by the time he got down to the party, everything calmed down, and no one would speak of what had happened.

Adam flung the doors of the dining room open. Not in an angry manner, but a happy manner. He ran to Belle and told her about the conversation with the witch. When she told him to prove it, Adam showed her his sword...and.... He began to change. His long, brown hair became a furry mane. Brown fur grew out of his skin. He grew immensely.
When the transformation was over, he gave a huge, toothy grin at Belle. She giggled and he gave a laugh that made the whole castle rumble. When he changed back, he sat down and began eating. However, he didn't get much of a chance. There was a loud yell from upstairs. Adam dropped his silverware and ran to the area where it came from to see a small Shadow causing Lumiere lots of trouble.
Adam growled and began transforming. The Shadow stopped to look at him. "GET OUT! YOU ARE NOT WELCOMED IN THIS CASTLE!" He began losing his temper. He smashed everything but the Heartless. Finally, he realized what he was doing and simply squashed it like a bug. Lumiere looked terrified. Beast began changing back into Adam. "I'm sorry, Lumiere...I didn't mean to...." Adam walked up to his room with his head bowed.
He knew that Lumiere wouldn't mind, but Adam was afraid of himself. He knew of his temper, but that was ridiculous...what had happened to him? What had happened to the fun-loving Adam that Belle slowly evolved? No matter, it was one incident...it wouldn't happen again...
