I'm just saying it don't really matter to me how powerful a game may make a character especially in a fighting game if someone is better at the game and knows how to use a wide range of characters then any one of them could be an ultimate character, the person playing the character just needs to take each characters as well as the players weakness and use it to his or hers advantage.

Actual gameplay footage!
It's Onion Knight vs the Cloud of Darkness, both from Final Fantasy 3. It's pretty sweet, actually. Onion Knight keeps changing his "job" during the battle, at one point being a ninja and at another being a mage-type character. There's also these sequences where the camera shifts to the side and you... I can't even say it. You'll see what I mean. It was hilarious yet sweet. lol

How long until someone auditions for Onion Knight now? XD
The battle seems to be full of both ranged and melee attacks, as well as classic FF hit points counting down on screen. I think that's pretty nice to have in their fighting game. Homage rules. Haha.

The question is, does he even have a defined personality? I'd say, the moment he becomes available through having a personality...

Couldn't sleep when I wanted to again. Made the bad decision of coming online until I was tired again. Came across another one of these again.
Tidus vs Jecht

In response to Bilby's link:
I see they're reusing the old soundtracks. Good.
I also see that the AI is actively dodging and guarding. Very good.
I see something resembling a Reaction Command system, which I can't tell if it will work out.

I was just glad they had Tidus have his True Jecht Shot as a special. It wouldn't be Tidus if he didn't have that.

Man just one more reason why I want this game so badly. Dammit why can't we go to Japan now Shinn?

Finally I was waiting for that clown to show up. The trailer has put me at a loss for words, I can't describe how I feel about it.

There are ten villain silhouettes so we know for sure how far they're going now, not that there was much doubt about that anyways. It also ensures we get all ten, most likely for each side.
My question now is who IV's villain will be. Zemus was the last boss but he has no human-ish form at all, unlike others like Garland or Kefka who can just use that appearance for the fighting game. That makes Golbez the next likely candidate, even though he turned good in the end. of course, if Jecht can be on the villain's side then certainly Golbez can.
It'd be sweet if they pulled a twist and used Kain instead, but I seriously doubt that. XD Either way 4 seems to me like it's gonna break the "Final Bosses" trend of the other FF entries unless they use a really inhumane character.
PS: Since Onion Knight can change jobs in the middle of fights I wonder if we can get both Dark Knight and Paladin versions of Cecil too? Haha.

I can only hope that Cecil has both Dark Knight and Paladin versions of himself in this game. And I can only hope Golbez is the bad guy here as well. A fight between two brothers=epic as hell.
