History:
:Orboros: Orboros is a rather rural country dominated by farming humans called Grangers and business making Evertos. Most of Orboros is covered by farm land and the farmer’s favorite crop: wheri grains. This reddish crop made the land look bloody red from a bird’s eye view. Evertos usually dominates the townships of this world, and they conduct their businesses among fellow merchants and sometimes unequal trade with the Grangers. None of the Evertos from Orboros look similar to the demons usually depicted in books. The only advantage these species have over their human counterparts is a longer life span. Often, conflict sparks between merchant Evertos and farming Grangers. Differing opinion on economy, politics, and even social aspects of their society causes everything from boycotts to riots. Things may seem peaceful in this country side world, but a deep inner rift was about to begin.
:Her Story:
It was on a relatively normal day in spring when the babe that the clock-making Adnihilos had been expecting finally came. She was no particular beauty, with the dark hair of Grandpa Adnihilo, the blue eyes of Mother Adnihilo, and the round full face of Father Adnihilo. The Adnihilos had long been well known for their Adnihilo Clocks, the best in Orboros, runs right on the spot, sharply in tuned to every second and minute, and never ever lacking. Naturally, a clock making family must act like a clock working family if they have to produce the grandest clocks in the land. Punctuality was the key.
Yet this little girl defied that punctuality. She was a late comer, causing her dear Mother a bunch of complications and taking her sweet time. No one takes their sweet time in the Adnihilos. One must be swift, quick, and right on time.
Nox Adnihilo was not.
But they still loved her despite that one little mess up. They called her little Noxy, or little slow poke if she took awhile to get things done. Slow to speak, slow to walk. Nox was non-extraordinary in every which way. Well known for her lateness perhaps, but nothing else. The girl’s family though was something else. Her mother was famous for her mimicking abilities, with the power to copy every single Cu-coo clocks in their shop when the hand hits the twelve. Right on the spot, not one single note off. Her father could spot everything around him and notice anything that’s missing. He had no problem picking out wrongs, spotting clock malaises right off the bat. Her grandfather was renowned for his clock building skills. Not even his son could manage to make them ticking machines so fast that they sometimes overproduce and still managed to keep the quality. Grandpa Adnihilo’s fine fingers—albeit quite wrinkly—could produce just as fine works of art.
Then there was Noxy. The girl spent most of her time day dreaming as she grew, trudging behind her right on time family as she scuffled her feet amidst faultless expectations. The girl just wanted to sit and think. She could not constantly move like the second hands of her family’s clocks

The young demon likes her food frozen. Ice cream for breakfast, popsicles for lunch, Banana split for dinner and perhaps some frozen fruit for snack. Should you feed her anything fresh out of the freezer, she’d be happy to become your best friend. As long as you keep the frozen treats coming of course.
Teleportation? Pfft, who needs teleportation when one has a handy dandy pencil? Choose a drawing material from Nox’s supply pouch and she can draw a door for you. It works just as well as any gummi ship and does not require gas!

Appearance:
Physical Features: Nothing about Nox is a spectacle, except for her height maybe. Unlike the typical image of a petite female, the demon stands at the height of 5ft8 and carried with it an average body size any girl her age [or looking her age] should be. Nox, sometimes known as Noxy, usually stands in a slightly slouched posture and a grim visage. Her short black hair recedes into a deep brown when it reaches her ears, exhibiting the hair color she use to have.
Facial Features: To describe Nox’s facial features, a simple ‘simplistic’ would do. She has a round face and rather chubby cheeks that would belong to a child’s. However, her stiff lips means business, and the girl’s mouth completely contradicts her plump features. Tell her than she’s fat though and you just might find a sharp pencil stuck in your spine. Perhaps the only thing Nox is proud of when looking in the mirror are her eyes. The demon girl has thick long eyelashes that framed a pair of deep blue eyes. The azure is at its purest color, untainted by any other colors except the black pupil. Mesmerizing as it is, Nox hardly find the will power to throw those beautiful eyes in people’s direction since not only is she too shy, she also find little need to look directly at those people she deemed unworthy. And well, there are quite few she find amusing enough to bother with. Most of the time, she keeps her eyes away from the person she’s communicating with or just avoid eye contact with the surrounding people.
The she-demon favors a short hair cut that stops above her shoulders. A pixie cut in a way. She lets the right side of her bang hangs over her eyes while clipping the left side back with barrettes. The clips changes colors from time to time according to Nox’s particular liking that day. And finally of course, though she is humanoid, the Sketchbook Child has slightly elongated ears compared to her human counterparts. It’s nothing you can’t hide though, so they’re often hidden under her black hair. She has multiple piercings on her ears, but wears earrings only once in awhile.
Clothing: Nox sports a very relaxed style of clothing. Overall, the demon wears a pair of soft material olive pants that are gathered with elastic where it reaches her boot. On her feet is a pair of ankle high brown leather boots that have been so worn down that the upper part folds in on themselves to hug her calves, acting more like warm knee length socks than shoes. The artist also wears a belt, holding the baggy pants to her hips to avoid the embarrassment of slipping pants. Sometimes, if the occasion calls for it, or if Nox feels like it, she could be seen in a loose white skirt instead of the pants she usually wears. From the hips up, Nox wears a white sleeveless turtle neck. The neck is loose, allowing her to hide her chin in the material if she’s unwilling to look someone in the eye. When in a cold climate, Nox could be seen in a dark green hoodless jacket that matches her pants. Aside from that, the demon usually goes sleeveless when traveling from world to world.
Miscellaneous Items/Articles: In order to carry all of her art supplies around, Noxy uses a shoulder bag that’s brown and easy to reach into and grab her sketch items when in dire need. Aside from her normal sketch book, Nox also strapped around her back a slightly bigger sketch board with clips on it. Attached to the board by the clips are durable pieces of drawing paper she usually uses for commercial use, such as drawing portraits for people in order to earn some money. The board can be a burden sometimes though, obstructing moving spaces. It also hurts when she hits people with it.
Personality:
Resolve: A simple child like her would not have any ridiculous ambitions. Noxy is anything but emulous when it comes to goals but if there’s one thing in this universe she wanted more than anything, it is to become a prestigious artist. She would continue to wonder from world to world to try and increase her horizon of the universe, soaking in all of the inspirations the environments could prepare for her.
Pursuit: As a wee toddler, Nox had always been seen a relatively ‘normal’ child. Praises could only be given to her out of decorum. She may have done something well, but the other children always seem to do it beautifully. But when the demon discovered her ability to draw so realistically and so vividly that people would try and shoo away her propped up picture of a bird with a broom, the small ambition inside her to become the best began to grow until she became who she is today, a traveling artist with a simple minded goal of honing this skill.
Fears: Fear? Even if the Demon hides it, there really are a lot of things this artist fear. Broken arms, immobile limbs, loss of important art supplies, blindness, you name it. Most of the artist’s fear revolves around losing her skills in some way, becoming ordinary in every which way, or becoming unable to complete her goal. While she continues to pursue her dreams, she nagging doubt of not being able to follow through with it constantly buzzes around the back of her head, often obstructing her from getting things done. You see, Noxy is an obscure pessimist. Her earlier years of dealing with being the fading wallflower had left her insecure and pessimistic. Often, the demon silently brings herself down, mentally breaking her arms for herself at times. And even more often, though she continue to blend into the background willingly when next to people, the thought of intermingling with the usual artists scares the pants off of her. This unwillingness to mix with others, artists especially
Hopes: Like mentioned above in the resolve area, Noxy’s hopes to become more than ordinary continues to push her on every day. [This question can become somewhat complicated. Everyone has hopes and dreams for the future, and your character shouldn’t be an exception. State what your character wishes to achieve in the future, or what he or she would like to do before he or she dies.]
Hobbies: If there’s anything that one might find the demon doing at all times is to do what she does best: drawing. Her favorite style is portrait with charcoal. Those black sticks of charcoal means more to her than anything else. Nox also enjoys drawing for people in exchange for money. What better way than to do what you do best, get money, and show off at the same time?
Socializing is something Noxy’s always had problems with. But she’s not entirely reclusive, just reluctant to speak to most of the people she meets. She enjoys entertaining friends with her small sketches, or just talking to them in general. However, she never stays for long.
Public Personality: When hanging around people, Noxy’s acquaintance usually find the girl to be a bit grim. Always the one to hold out last when a joke is told, Nox Adnihilo seems to be the kind that takes everything too seriously. Blinded by her goal, she had adopted the idea that if she was so serious about this goal, then she must be just as serious with the people around her. Yet despite this pretense of soberness, the demon gets embarrassed easily. She is neither scholarly nor athletic, and thus, she has little to discuss aside from art when pushed into social groups.
Aside from this, the child always seems to be kind of absent minded. Her mind seemed to be highly concerned with what’s coming up next in her sketchbook. One might observe that her obsession with her talent seemed to be a tad bit unhealthy, yet the girl would never admit to such thing. Her entire being had been absorbed into her sketchbook, and sometimes, talking to her might be as if talking to a wall. In the end, Nox Adnihilo understands little besides art. It’s not rare that the child ends up being oblivious to the people around her—except those she’s drawing. Never one to quite take in people’s
Private Personality: Training herself to act solemn and grave, Nox had also tried to change her inner workings to this ideal. However, this was something Noxy found difficult to do despite her slightly anti-social personality. Someone with a sharp eye could see that in the end, the girl just wanted to loosen up. She might do so around people, especially those she can relate, but in public, she acts like an old lady caught inside a young girl’s body.
Yet, like an old woman that had aged to the point where they end up acting like a child once again, Noxy is naïve and highly prone to jealousy. In the field of arts, Nox’s tendency to get jealous could get the best of her. However, she is not one to be out and about with this envy. Rather, she keeps it inside, simmering as she then whips herself into shape by observing the other artist’s technique and finding ways to better the other. There will be no competition too tough for this demon when it comes to art.

Weapons:
Weapon Name: Sketch Book
Weapon Description: A black sketchbook with a book binding that’s the size of a normal journal. The outside cover is normal black felt, covered with childish stickers and a sad attempt at her name with a silver glitter pen. She now regretted using the ugly thing on her treasure, so the name spelled ‘No Anihil’ instead of ‘Nox Adnihilo’. Sadly for the young demon, scratching the glitter off is not an easy task. The book is not as thick as one would expect, seeing that Nox had already ripped out multiple pieces of paper to use in battle or to give off as gift. The rest of the pages are full of sketches and drawings of things the young girl had come across, including simple sketches of her siblings.
Unique Notes: Strangely enough, though there seemed to be only a few pages left, Noxy never changes her sketchbook. No one knows where she keeps getting extra pieces of paper for the book. The papers have no specific magical property until Nox manifest her powers into it. Without her artistic powers, they’re just simply pages of processed trees.
Weapon Name: Supply Pouch
Weapon Description: The most ordinary pouch you’ll ever see. Simply a cloth art supply bag of the grassiest green, along with a just as green zipper, which attached to it, is a small charm for decoration. The pouch is a bit longer than the length of her palm, and much wider. Inside the pouch contains the essentials to an artists’ career.
:Charcoal sticks: A long glass tube with a stopper on the top, much like the beakers one would find in a chemistry class. Inside the beaker are individual willow charcoal sticks that range from thick to thin for a variety of lines when using them. Charcoal sticks are raw sticks of charcoal that are not encased in pencil and thus are messy to use, but useful when drawing large things.
:Charcoal Pencils: The pouch contains four charcoal pencils, including one white charcoal. These charcoal pencils are the usual pencil shaped, and used to draw detailed lines. The white charcoal is used for various purposes.
:Color Pencils: A set of 24 colors. These color pencils are bounded together by purple rubber bands.
:Black Pens: A small plastic case of black felt tip pens with varying size of pen tips also managed to find their way into the pouch. They’re primarily used to outline. Noxy has a very picky thing about them. They must always be capped, even if she was in the middle of using it and had put it down for a few seconds. Apparently, the demon’s afraid that they’ll run out of ink.
:Pencil Sharpener: A simple pouch sized pencil sharpener. It sharpens everything from color pencils to small fingers. Beware of the safety blades.
:Clay Eraser: An almost black eraser for easy erasing. It could be shaped and molded into any size suitable for tiny erasing to large sized erasing.
:Pencils: The rest of the things in the bag? Pencils. Lots of them.
Unique Notes: Could all that really fit in one pouch? You’d be amaze to see it. Nox keeps both her pouch and her sketch book in a side sling brown bag and carried them with her wherever she goes. Again, like the sketch book. None of the things in her pencil pouch have any magic to them until she puts her ‘Artist Instinct’ into them. The only magic they can perform on a daily basis is to create pictures.
Weapon Name: Pistol Templates
Weapon Description: Non-lethal outlines of pistols. These black outline sketches are anything but extraordinary. They’re simply drawn out with a careful hand and black pens. They’re tucked inside Nox’s sketchbook and exhibit no sign of special powers. There are a total amount of four templates in her book. They’re so well drawn that they almost seem real…
Unique Note: All four of the templates resemble the pistols wielded by pirates in Port Royal. It seems that the demon had to get a bit close for comfort in order to craft these templates during her stay at the world of rogues and thieves. One thing for sure, she’s never going to try that again.
Abilities:
Base Ability:
:Artist’s Instinct:
Sub Abilities:
:Constant Observation: All artists needs to learn to be aware of their surroundings at all times. A natural physique that’s heightened by her demonic senses, Noxy has a near photographic memory of her environment, allowing her to become more apt to drawing based on memory. However, the demon could only manage to remember so much at a time. Thus, this renders Nox to be a bit…empty headed at times. And though she has an excellent ability to remember things, her ability to match names with faces seems to be a bit on the lacking side…
:Color Me In [Red]: From ordinary to extraordinary. This is Nox’s power and whole being. With the ability to produce art work so realistic or creative that it leaks from the paper into reality itself, Noxy’s useless pistol templates are able to become deadly weapons under her guidance. And don’t forget her color pencils. In Color Me In, Nox uses the color pencils in her 24 set to color in the template as rapidly as possible. The true power of the ability comes in when she’s done though. As soon as she’s done with it, the shape on the paper takes form and turns into a real live pistol that’s the exact same size and shape as the one that use to be on the paper. The pistol is the exact same color as the color pencil she used, and the demon girl is allowed only one kind of color per template, any more and it would just be color pencil on paper.
The color of the bullets symbolizes the kind of element the target would face if the bullet hits them. Like paint ball, the moment the bullet hit its target, it splatters on the available surface, and in this case—red—it would create a burning sensation similar to getting hit by a fire ball. The burn will slowly fade even if the paint remains on the victim. One can pry off the paint but touching the paint with your hand would mean burning your palms too.
Nox has only four templates in her possession at a time, and thus, she usually uses this ability three times per battle since the last one is reserved only for emergencies and needed if she wants to create more of the template. It must be remembered that the demon is an artist, not a gunner. Even with the gun in her hand, handling it like a professional is also a problem for Nox. Thus, the girl usually gives the gun to her allies instead of using it for herself. The effects are the same for the others as it is for her, even when the gun is stolen from her, she does not have to power to destroy the template but must instead, wait out the ten bullets. The less color she puts into the template when coloring, the fewer bullets are available for use when she forms the gun.
:Scritch Scratch Sketch: To be an artist, one must be highly creative. Noxy’s knack for doodling has become an ability itself. Give the demon a line, and she’ll give you a drawing. With this in mind, Noxy’s doodling ability had become an offensive ability used for escape.
When in danger, Nox of course, needs some kind of method for quick escape. And with her sketching pencils, she can attempt just that. Nox only need to draw some kind of creature with sharp claws, or rows of incisors and with her Artist’s Instinct, the creature will come to life. Tossing the sketchbook paper to the ground, Nox is allowed to run while the creature keeps her enemies at bay. However, whatever doodle she creates on the paper cannot roam too far from the place where the sheet is dropped. Neither is the creature life-like, or strong, for it takes on the exact same appearance as its sketched self. However, the drawn creature is capable of damage on flesh and flesh only. Think of it as a kind of severe paper cut.
Like paper, a sword can easily cut through this two dimension beast. However, kicking and punching it would take a bit of an effort on the attacker’s side. If undisturbed, the drawn creature, whatever it is, lasts only one post before transforming back onto its paper plane, a harmless doodle on a piece of paper.
