History:
From within the deepest depths of Ansem's memory, the first thing he can remember is in the Garden of Radiance, a very long time from the present, in a crystallized cave far from the castle and town. Ansem was confused, weak and filthy; he was literally on the brink of existence. If DiZ hadn't been exploring the more unchartered areas of the Garden of Radiance at the time, Ansem would have probably tumbled into oblivion.
DiZ found Ansem on a special radar as a 'disturbance in the world's calm atmosphere and general homeostasis'. He took Ansem to his castle where he let him rest. Soon enough, Ansem was restored to the health of a normal person, but he still felt as though he didn't have his full capabilities and well-being restored. During his time of rest, Ansem the Wise found that the man had no memories of his past life. So, he decided to call him 'Another', as he was completely native to the world, but upon realizing that this name was too inhuman, he added an 'X' within the name, to represent the man's uniqueness, and made an anagram. The final result was 'Xehanort'.
In time, Xehanort came to look up to Ansem the Wise as a student of his research and findings. He was deeply inspired, like a child, by Ansem to be just like him. Ansem became Xehanort's role-model soon enough. The only reason why Ansem decided not to let Xehanort free from the castle was because his special, quickly developing mind was so intriguing and because his Heart had unique qualities. Ansem wished to keep Xehanort for further study, and so he made most of the rooms in the castle available to Xehanort as he knew that Xehanort was fascinated by Ansem's findings.
Xehanort's attachment to learning made his knowledge and growth progress at an unnatural rate. He soon became a very intelligent person and was then, officially, an apprentice of Ansem's. All of Ansem's other apprentices and students soon grew jealous of the innocent, unique Xehanort.
After hardly any time passed at all, Xehanort had reached Ansem the Wise's level of knowledge. His interest in the Heart became so very passionate that Ansem began to grow weary of the continuation of the experiments and research. Xehanort soon could tell that Ansem realized how he reacted, differently, to his experiments, and research; Xehanort spent far too much time reading and studying and experimenting, and soon his social relations and health were damaged.
Upon discovering that the knowledge and experiments were dangerous for everyone, Ansem the Wise locked all the laboratories and ceased their functioning. Xehanort soon became exceedingly furious with this notion, for he believed that there was a great reason behind all his experimentation and research. Xehanort gathered the five apprentices of Ansem who he believed were worthy of the research because of their passion for the subject; Braig, Dilan, Even, Aeleus and Ienzo. Together, united, the six of them prudently banished DiZ using their own unique powers of knowledge and unlocked the laboratories of the castle.
As Xehanort had seemingly taken Ansem's place, he re-named himself as Ansem, because he believed that he took his rightful place in Ansem's seat as leader of Radiant Garden and head-scientist. However, his passion for his work soon endangered the world of the Garden of Radiance, including himself and his colleagues. However, they soon found that, without plunging into Darkness, there was a limit to their knowledge. There were curious Heart-born creatures within the castle, but they could not be fully-studied unless the scientists resided within the Darkness itself. Upon discovering the powers of Darkness and the influence it had on the Heart, all six men swam deep into the depths of Darkness. Ansem conceived a mechanism that caused a long power-outage in the world of the Radiant Garden; this mechanism used up massive amounts of energy, as it summoned Pure Darkness for the six men to indulge in.
And so, Ansem emerged in humanoid form, with the memories of his past, and with emotions, in the castle, in the same place where he surrendered his body. But the rest of his men were merely ordinary Heartless. Even though they were all Hearts, Ansem was the only one who survived with past knowledge and with a humanoid body. Even though he didn't have any evidence to prove why this happened, he believed that it may have been because his own Heart's willpower and faith was stronger than that of the other scientists'.
And so, Ansem continued his studies, creating Heartless and leading them, and soon found the reason for why he was destined to gain so much knowledge; Kingdom Hearts. Upon extending his knowledge so that he was above all others, a Dark entity grew within him and he found how to use this entity of power to manifest a physical form of his Dark essence: Guardian. With Guardian, Ansem knew he was immortal.
The scientist and leader believed that Kingdom Hearts, as well as several maidens with unique Hearts, would give the key to a Dark paradise which would give all Hearts eternal and awesome freedom. He tried his best to attain this Dark paradise from Kingdom Hearts but failed when he was destroyed by a certain holder of the Keyblade, the Key of Hearts...
However, Ansem hung on to the Keyblade-wielder's rival and friend, named Riku. Even though Riku gained immense courage and still managed to destroy Ansem once again, Ansem knew he would come back, somehow....

Gender: Dude
Race: Heartless

Appearance:
Ansem
Physical Features: Ansem has a godly appearance; he is incredibly muscular and powerful, has a straight and healthy posture and is very tall. His long, white-gray hair is sleek and completely out of his face. He walks and speaks like a king. Furthermore, he has a six-pack.
Facial Features: Like the rest of his body, Ansem's face is muscular. His jaw is rather square-like and his cheeks are slightly hollow. His expression is dignified and influential, and the most noticeable feature about his face is his glowing, amber eyes, almost like that of an average Heartless. Lastly, his hair is backed out of his face.
Clothing: Ansem's attire consists of: long white gloves, an open white shirt underneath an open trench-coat (black on the torso and the rest being white) and baggy black pants and boots.
His additional attire consists merely of no torso-wear and attached, black veins of Darkness as pants.
Miscellaneous Items/Articles: Ansem wears a series of black belts and the Heartless emblem on the center of his chest.
Personality:
Resolve: Ansem wishes to find the true paradise that Kingdom Hearts and the purest of Darkness would give. He also wishes to know everything about the Heart, its counterparts and the Darkness.
Pursuit: Ansem will literally do anything for the pursuit of knowledge and for the journey of the Dark paradise.
Fears: Ansem is afraid of the purest of radiance and, thus, of Sora.
Hopes: Ansem wants to acquire knowledge that would make him even godlier than he already is. Besides this, he wants to find paradise for his Heartless, a utopia he knows exists.
Hobbies: Study. Research. Experiment. Explore. Anything that will make him know more about the elements, the Heart, Darkness etc.
Public Personality:
Ansem will generally consider himself higher than all others, unless they prove to have knowledge higher than that of his. As a scientist, he will silently and unfathomably observe their every twitch, reaction and expression, especially upon meeting them for the first time. Even though he believes that one should not judge another based on first impressions, he believes that he makes a first impression that screams out authority and so he is obliged to see how strangers react to this.
With people or beings he knows, whether enemy or not, he will never stop examining them to analyze their true motives or inner-thoughts and to determine any falsities or oddities that are worth noting. As Ansem is nearly devoid of emotions, it does not matter much to him about bottling up his own expressions and reactions (as his face is usually constant).
Private Personality:
In private, Ansem will be more of a scientist rather than a leader with great authority. He will sometimes converse with Guardian. When in private, Ansem will be calmer, so as to focus his energy more on his research and experimentation, the physical parts of his work, rather than speech and power. Those who are 'close' to him are namely Guardian and all other Heartless, but other than these beings Ansem's past relationships were clouded up when the wall of Darkness emerged and parted them.

Weapons:
Weapon Name: Guardian
Weapon Description: Guardian has human-like features but at the same time resembles a Heartless, just like the Invisible Heartless. It is a pure-blood Heartless and thus has no brand symbol. It has four antennae and hollow, white eyes. Its mouth and small nose are covered by cross-bandages which resemble the cross on Ansem's symbol of the Heartless. It doesn't have legs, making it look rather like a dark genie, but it does have muscular arms. There is an empty space in its lower torso and it, like Ansem, is extremely muscular and has a six-pack. Guardian also acts as a shield. Lastly, the being is immortal and invincible because of the fact that it coexists with Ansem's kingly Darkness.
Unique Notes: Guardian is basically a manifestation of Ansem's Dark essence brought into physical form. It is the strongest of all Heartless, under Ansem.
Weapon Name: [double-sided Soul Eater]
Weapon Description: Basically, this weapon is a Soul Eater, but there are two Soul Eater 'wings' on each end of the weapon. The blades represent Dark wings and are of a mixture of blue and red colors. On the bottom of each wing is a small light-blue crystal eye.
Unique Notes: The Soul Eater was not created by Ansem [refer to History].
Abilities:
Base Ability: Pure/Kingly Darkness
Sub Abilities:
Proof of Authority: The dark scientist has complete control over all Darkness in all worlds. He may either unleash this Darkness upon NPC Hearts, or he may unleash it as a method to harm an opponent. This Darkness that he catches from Hearts and objects is the darkest, purest of all Darkness and gives Ansem extreme power. He can do many things with the Darkness that he catches, as long as he has the physical and mental capability to do so. With the Darkness he obtains, he may; engulf things and Hearts in the Darkness, attract Heartless to himself using the Darkness, hurl the Darkness at his enemies in the form of a gas, liquid or solid [the solid form being discs or spheres], concentrate the Darkness in one specific location, use the Darkness to power a Dark mechanism etc. The only way this ability can be avoided is more with mental strength and power rather than physical agility and defense.
Vision of Darkness: Ansem may use Guardian to come into contact with Darkness, the essence of everything, in order to gain general knowledge concerning Hearts. This is a vision that enables Ansem to see through the Corridors of Darkness so that he would be able to know general things. In obtaining information on Hearts, he can: find out about the Dark, Light and Twilight balances of a world or of a Heart; find out about the qualities of a Heart (such as emotions, levels of power, memories etc.) find out about the innermost desires/hopes and innermost fears/despairs of the Heart/Heartless. Again, if someone can sense this ability, then it could be avoidable if he/she used their mental strength to avoid it and divert the Vision.
Electrical Essence: The scientist may conjure a malicious Dark electricity from the bottom of his being; this electricity may be transferred through his mind to Guardian in order to be unleashed by it, or it may be unleashed by Ansem himself. He can be flexible with the way he unleashes it [for example, it can be unleashed as a temporary whirlpool of electric essence or just as a pillar of electric essence] and its speed is phenomenal, but it is still avoidable nonetheless.
