Malidan is a laid back guy, with a cheerful nature about him most of the time. He is very trustworthy, and believes that lying is only used when necessary. When he's serious, he has the cold shoulder, but he holds it out. He senses when a person has bad intentions, and he tends to be cautious when he does, but stays himself.

Abilities:
1) Repel: Malidan can repel an enemy's attack back at them, and depending upon the size of the attack, the post cool-down varies. If it's a small attack, there is no cool-down. If it's medium, there is a two-post cool-down. If it's big, there's a four post cool-down.
2) Glass Element: He can create a barrier made of glass, surrounding his whole body. He can make it into a temporary flooring, or make monkey bars out of it. He has complete power over glass. He can do whatever he wants with it, but once he does something, he has a two post cool-down before he can do the same thing again. For example, he makes a barrier of glass, and once the assault on him is done, he cannot create a barrier for two posts, but he can do anything else with his glass until then. He can adjust the thickness of the glass according to the attack. The maximum thickness of the glass can be seven inches, no more. The only thing he cannot do with his glass is make glass weapons out of it. That is impossible for him. There is a limit to all the attacks he can do with this, depending on what he does with it, and his attacks are avoidable.
3) Boomerang: Malidan has the ability to throw his sword like a boomerang. It is sent flying at the enemy, and comes back to him after the attack is finished. There is a three post cool-down.

Malidan's parents were killed trying to protect him when he was mere baby. He grew up with his brother Hallar. Whether it was a small or big prank, they always got themselves into trouble with many adults and some of the other kids. He didn't really fit in well, and the only friend he had as a child was Seara. She left when he was ten.
After meeting Shia when he was fifteen, he knew he had to fix what was happening. He defeated his rival Lyenn, and lived a peaceful life for seven years with their adopted daughter, Karen. At the end of that peaceful seven years, he asked Shia to marry him. She told him yes.
But then the Heartless came. Him, Shia, and Karen were separated. He has no idea where they went. Only that they were somewhere... He wasn't even sure they were alive, but he kept on believing.
And he searched...
