New information on both games. There is some for Coded, but the likelihood of that coming outside of Japan is small, so I won't bother.
BBS
- Enemies are called the Unborn.
- The setting is that Ven and Terra are working for Maleficent, gathering up the Princesses of Heart. So, yes, we will finally have an explanation as to how Mal got all the Princesses in KH1.
- The battle system is apparently much better than any of the previous games. Magic is controlled with Triangle and Circle. No more SP, instead there are cooldowns.
- Focus Mode (Drive Form's Replacement): "By holding down the R button, the player can cause both heroes to enter a first-person view in which they have a few seconds to target foes by moving over them with the reticle. Pressing Circle without releasing R will cause the current character to launch into a rush attack, striking each targeted foe several times. This depletes the Focus meter entirely, but it fills again fairly rapidly. And to add an extra twist, each character can enter a special attack mode by filling a combo gauge and pressing the proper button. One mode, for example, is a fire-elemental mode in which all attacks are accompanied by flames. On top of this, each of the characters seemed to posses unique individual abilities, such as Ventus' Zero Graviga, which causes a targeted foe to float helplessly in the air for a while, making them an easy punching bag. "
- You will play as both Vent and Terra. If you play as Aqua is still unknown.
358/2
- The mysterious 14th Member of Org 13 is Xion (pronounced she-on), who is assumed to be Aqua's Nobody due to them having practically the same hair.
- Xion wields a KeyBlade.
- Axel is friends or something with Xion, saying that he'll bring her back every time she escapes. What he means by escape is unknown, but I kinda think it may refer somehow to her armor in the dungeon (or she could be a rogue member of Org 13, eh).
- King Mickey recognizes Xion and is hostile toward her.
- The game is single player or co-op. There is some kinda of competition when using co-op; the winner based on performance within the mission.
