General Character Information
--------------------------------------
Character Name: Dezmot Arcades Bloodworth
Character Age: 234
Character Gender: Male
Character Race: Angel
Character Position: Neutral
Character Personality:
Quiet and serious, Dezmot prefers to observe or simply relax. On most occasions he reacts only when he feels the want to do so. Dezmot is the perfect example of someone who is fine being solitary and then the next moment living with complete strangers, only as long as he can have his own time apart from the others. It's not often that Dezmot opens up to others or gets to know people, a trait he believes is for the best. Aside from distancing himself from others Dezmot will tell someone the truth when asked, not always exactly how he feels but to leave an impression. It’s fairly obvious when he's being annoyed and best not to prod any further.
Being an Angel separates Dezmot a great deal from others, a fact that he will do anything he can to keep secret and has told very, very few. Also due to being an Angel, Dezmot has a type of aura around him that generally leaves people with a lose of words or otherwise unable to approach him. His “heavenly” features and perfect looks make him stand out easily, Dezmot has grown accustomed to this and has used this to his advantage many times or as he would say made “an art itself”. With this, Dezmot’s voice is calm and collected, soothing, and full of confidence and careful passionate emotion; this is the case because of his race and his upbringing.
Because he has lived so long, Dezmot often goes by his instinct and accumulated knowledge over anything else, while at the same time frowning on those that do not learn from their mistakes. (Or if he doesn’t agree with them.) When he does gain a companion or is befriended, Dezmot's behavior depends solely on the person or thing. If he has the chance to be by himself again it’s very likely he’ll take it.
Dezmot's interests in life are those found in serene nature, music, martial arts, art, and all forms of literature.
One of his few pet-peeves is his hate for when he is compared to a vampire, which in reality is quite true.
Character's Appearance:
Dezmot stands at 5’9”, but normally with his shoes on he’s 5’10”. His overall complexion and body seems to have been carved out of the image of a god, not to mention how he seems to literally shine and illuminate his beauty. While his skin is pale it only provides a perfect contrast to his wavy red/golden blonde hair, along with his face that belongs to that of only absolute perfection. The curves and arrangement of his face are soft while his facial bones are pronounced only to give even more perfect symmetrical depth to his face, as with his straight nose. Of all things of his face the most notable is the furious blend of hazel and yellow in his eyes, almond shaped and evenly spaced from the middle. Staring too long into his eyes or at Dezmot has caused many people to lose themselves in awe and thought. To put it simply, even among his own kind Dezmot is gifted deeply in his beauty. Physically it is impossible to tell his age, which appears to be no more than eighteen.
While Dezmot seems to have only a medium sized build and be otherwise lean, his muscled body feels and is as hard as marble, leaving him a very painful thing to run into. Dezmot’s muscles are very toned and pronounced, however he does what he can to cover this. Like others of his race, Dezmot is exceptionally beautiful, strong, graceful and quiet in their movement. To the touch his body is cold, warmth is rare for him, but this is normal for his race.
Dezmot like all Angels has a pair of wings, however, how each Angel hides them is different. On his upper back near his shoulder blades Dezmot has two identical spine shaped tattoos that go up to his neck and down his back. Most of the time Dezmot goes to extensive measures to make sure he covers his back, showing his neck is no problem, however if the tattoos near it were seen it would hardly trouble him. The wings themselves appear off of both tattoos that on Dezmot’s command raise themselves from his back, acting like the backbone of the wings. The feathers slowly appear with backbone and once they begin attaching the process is pretty much instantaneous, leaving Dezmot with his wings.
As for his usual attire, Dezmot normally wears a white or black jacket that can zip and button as well as cover his neck up to the bottom of his hair. While slightly baggy on his arms, Dezmot prefers this looser feel. If need be, Dezmot has an attachable matching hood and gloves. Jeans or dress pants are the most common pants to see him in, and as far as style and color go he only makes sure they work with his shirt. T-shirts or long-sleeved shirts are what he prefers, although he prefers T-shirts most of the time with a jacket over them. As for his shoes, Dezmot avoids sneakers, sandals, and anything that doesn’t seem like it will last long; therefore he wears large shoes with extended fronts or thick sides or more simply boots.
One of Dezmot’s fascinations with his appearance is how to style his hair and how to help it change his appearance from time to time. His normal styles are never longer than the bottom of his chin and always involve simply running his hand through it and producing layers or curls, or straightening it. His hair never leaves his forehead uncovered in some way or degree or amount.

Battle Information
--------------------------------------
Weapon Name: None
Weapon Appearance:
Dezmot carries a single katana on his back or hip, which itself is 29" while the blade is 28.5". The sheath is made out of metal, an odd mix between white-gold and surgical steel and much smaller amounts of other rare metals; the sheath's overall color is black though. Why so many metals were put into the sheath is a mystery, one that Dezmot has never bothered to figure out. The result of the mixture is a rather heavy, but durable sheath that has yet to rust or discolor.
As for the hilt and grip both are the same black color, while the inner part of the grip is a smooth ivory white with a flat dark red shape for the pommel. On the hilt in gold foil and medium dark brown is the picture of the leaves of a cherry blossom and a branch, the other side has what seems to be a panned out view with what looks like a person or persons under the tree.
Looking at the blade reveals that it in no way is a contemporary design; a thin and narrow, but heavily layered and slowly made sword with a heavily accented, but flowing "hi" raises question to its origin, of which Dezmot does not know or cares little to tell. Like the sheath the blade was crafted with many different metals, excluding certain weak types of metal like aluminum, so that it would be relatively lightweight and complement its size. In terms of the curve, it is only slight when compared to likewise Chinese or Korean designs (or sabers and scimitars for that matter), favoring the curve of a Masamune type. Due to its craftsmanship and sharpness, the blade itself reflects little light and can be hard to see in a dark environment, except for a faint white/red glow seen only from the sides of the blade. This also means Dezmot rarely takes it out unless he has to maintain it.
Both Sheath and Blade have been cared for thoroughly and kept in battle condition since before Dezmot owned them.
Abilities:
Sound in Bone: A rather simple meditative state that requires Dezmot to touch any surface or simply stand still or squat. The actual ability acts like a sonar hearing device, sending out a signal in the air and through the ground from Dezmot in a five mile perimeter. Dezmot does not send out a felt or audible signal so much as he listens through very fine and powerful microscopic amplification in the energy sent out from him.
What Dezmot gets back are clusters of vibrations in his skull or cranium, so if he heard someone talking and walking the two vibrations would be distinctively different. From where the vibrations occur in his skull he can determine where it was from, how large it was, how close it was, etc. Any speech vibrations are instead sent further in near his ears so he can attempt to single them out and listen through amplification of said vibrations. Dezmot must remain completely still while in this state, he still has conscious awareness around him, but breaking from the state will end all communication and transmission.
Dezmot can hear a wide range of things using this ability ranging from minute muscle movement, heartbeats, wind changes, water underground, and the earth moving. In order to not get bombarded with a countless number of sounds, Dezmot prefers to focus on at most three sounds at a time, however he can monitor as many as ten individually. In order to also control this ability, Dezmot can limit how far he hears so he can quickly localize the sound.
It would take one turn to enter the state and complete the process of listening and receiving the vibrations, then another to get out of it. However, if he focuses it and listens to an individual or happening or sound, he will stay in the state for the next post regardless even if the sound stops. The cool down of this ability would be three posts after the post he awakes from the state, or until he stops focusing on a particular sound.
(That's the broken down explanation here, basically Dezmot can spy on others with this, hear actions in other posts, hear speech in other posts, that normally couldn't be heard by others.)
Breath of Hate: Dezmot calls up a solid bubbly looking protective wall of his own energy with a small blood sacrifice, usually by crushing a vial of his blood in his hand. (He can also cut himself and use that blood, the amount of blood used or directly from his body does not affect the wall's strength.)
Wall Part: He first calls a wall of his own energy out in front of him as well as energy through his hand with the blood. The wall covers a two seventy area around Dezmot depending on how he is facing, and is intended to absorb whatever is thrown at it and then explode depending on the energy absorbed from the attacks. Whether or not hit the wall explodes five seconds after created, in a red flash in all directions. The explosion is not harmful however, it only throws a sticky glowing red blood like material at anything or anyone near the wall. Dezmot can control the direction and target of any part of the former wall as he chooses.
Explosion Part: The main idea of this ability is highlighted by how the wall becomes unstable and explodes within five seconds regardless of what happens to it. Blown into many sticky red glowing pieces, the pieces or material, retain the characteristics of the wall before except that they can no longer absorb energy. The explosion of the wall is as great as the total amount of energy absorbed (so Dezmot does not kill himself, the explosion only occurs when his blood is present, acting as a buffer itself with the energy and lowering the explosiveness while not affecting the energy amount), which sends the pieces of the wall at some speed equal to the explosion and thus the total amount of absorbed energy.
Each individual piece has as much energy as the total amount absorbed by the wall, however this energy amount only figures if and when they attach to something or someone; if they do they will harmlessly attach and become activated by weighing some amount proportionate to the energy stored in them and weighing down on the individual or object. Otherwise the pieces will eventually hit the ground if Dezmot does direct them or they do not collide with something.
So confusion is avoided, the amount on energy stored will be relevant to how large the attack is and how many hits/strikes are taken, therefore unless an attack is awesomely huge the energy stored will not be monstrous.
The wall can be created without a blood sacrifice, but it will lack a red color and will instead disappear instead of exploding. Apart from this, one of the most important natures of the wall is that it will move around Dezmot at his command and if he moves, it will move with him.
Lastly, when the wall is created by “energy”, it is Dezmot’s own life force that is used and therefore it and the wall are in no way magical or composed of magic. However, absorbed magical attacks will change this.
The main idea behind Breath of Hate is a protective wall of Dezmot’s life force combined with/out his own blood that will absorb any attack thrown at it. Energy is never forcefully taken unless the wall is struck, hit, etc.
Types of absorbed attacks:
Say for instance a bullet, once it hits the wall it will fall to the ground, due to the energy traveling with bullet being absorbed by the wall from it.
If an elemental attack (fire, water, earth, air, lighting, bane, holy, etc?) hits it, the result would be the attack itself being absorbed into the wall, thus the energy is now in the wall. Obviously, rocks and solid objects are not absorbed into the wall.
If the attack is from a weapon of some sort, the energy the bearer has behind the weapon will be absorbed upon impact and the weapon will fall harmlessly to the ground or will collide with wall and stop.
If an attack is directly from an individual the energy behind that specific stroke and in the part of the body touching the wall is absorbed.
Liquids will only be absorbed if they strike the wall.
Since the wall and later material are composed of Dezmot's energy, it will drop weightlessly to the ground if it touches him after the explosion.
It should be assumed that the material parts of wall will never be microscopic in size, but six inches at least and larger. The material/pieces will disappear after five turns.
Raising the wall takes one turn and regardless of what happens, the wall explodes during Dezmot's following post. The cool down of this ability is two turns.
Darkening Ambivalence: At his command Dezmot creates a black dome five hundred meters in dimension and perimeter anywhere within his eyesight at the current moment. The creation of the dome is instantaneous and irreversible, leaving a physical solid black dome structure. Attacks or energy directed at the dome have no effect. Once created, nothing can enter the dome, Dezmot is the sole exception.
The dome itself is a separate dimension, which is illuminated by a green light that has no apparent source. With this light is a thick white mist that never leaves or thins, however visibility for an individual any position in the dome is clear for five meters around them. Finally along with the mist and light, there is a constant drizzle of rain in the dome that does not gather on the surface or harm visibility.
With this, the inside of the dome creates the illusion of limitless space, except to Dezmot, therefore a character could feel as though they are walking forever to no end. Along with space, sound exists in the dimension, however along with the space illusion it deadens quickly and is muffled at times by the rain and mist.
Those trapped within the dome cannot leave or communicate with the outside, with the exception of Dezmot who can enter and re-enter.
If Dezmot were to create the dome in the sky it would appear as a sphere due to the lack of physical obstructions. The same goes if he were to do so in the ocean, a sphere would be the result. However, if created in a tight corridor or closed in space, it would fit to confines of that space. At no time can the dome be moved from its spot, since the dome itself has "frozen time" for that space. If by chance another dimension were opened within it, the individual would be sent right back into the dome area.
When Dezmot creates the dome his eyes flash green, therefore there is a chance that the dome can be dodged or escaped, however small.
The dome is created within one post and lasts for five more turns, and has a cool down time of five posts.

Character History
--------------------------------------
Dezmot’s own recollection of his life is fittingly patchy. There are great lengths of time in which he remembers very little. However, there is much to him that remains secret and will likely do so forever due to the mental blocks placed in his mind over his life.
Born in Germany in 1773, Dezmot’s life was one that was so scripted and pre-destined, as if by divine joke and challenge his birth granted him not only exceptional beauty, strong body, and superb reflexes, but latent secrets deep within his mind; as if to change the bleak fate he had.
To understand his story however, first the story of Angels living among humanity must be told. Just as vampires, werewolves, and a plethora of other mythical creatures exist secretly, so too do Angels. Whether or not they were left behind, sent on a mission, or simply chose to live among people is not known, but many live secretly away from or among humans.
The presence of such powerful beings living together quietly on the planet however led to one inedible end, a long bitter secret war against each other while humans were to be kept as ignorant and far away from the fighting as possible. As time went on theses races found the necessity to band together or to form permanent families and create strong societal connections to ensure survival. Above all however, humanity could never know of their true existence.
From the beginning of time to the slow rise in human culture, technology, and quality of life, the Angels and other races aimed to either observe or interact for their own gain. However it was problem for beings that were physically much more attractive, stronger, faster, smarter, and lived longer or forever to not bring or cause attention. Fighting amongst these races as well as with humanity was not rare then, many were killed at a time and survivors were not widely common to keep stories at a minimum. When humanity started to become more dominant and widespread and more aware that they were not alone, the other races found it necessary to adapt to human life or hide in secrecy once again. At the same time however, humanity was forever cursed to be victim and at constant risk to these races just as much as they were to humanity.
Thus began the gradual shift to heavily populated areas such as Southern and Eastern Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Russia. Positions in government, respected people, high society, as well as crime were common for the races to hide behind and live. When it became apparent that these races lived far too long for humanity however, they either moved far away or lived beyond the common populace. Another answer to this problem came from the many wars, plagues, natural disasters, and other events that left humanity scattered and allowed the races to stay in place or quickly and quietly disappear. Regardless though, none of the mythical races could stay in one place for too long.
And so with his birth in 1773, Dezmot's family came to Moscow, Russia, away from much of the world and isolated with a much more easily controlled population. As if by coincidence in the following year a plague struck the city that allowed the family easier reign of life and movement amidst the chaos. At the same time a war had going on in the country, distracting any attention from the races. It seemed as though conditions were perfect for the family and their future. However, in punishment for a deep sin committed by his family and another, Dezmot was fated to marry the youngest born of his family's greatest enemy, a union between Vampire and Angel to wash away the sea of blood. It was from this union that their fighting would end and the pact would be sealed with the child that would forever bind the two families.
In 1776, both families vanished and with them their homes completely destroyed. Dezmot was taken far away by his father, Felix, who then traveled with him around the world for the first fifty years of his life. The day before he turned fifty-one Dezmot's father was preparing extensively for the next move, of which Dezmot learned the next day Felix took alone. On his birthday Dezmot awoke to find a single letter, the sword he has now that his father left to him, and everything else that his father believed he would need. In his letter however was the important message to Dezmot, clues and a beginning to Dezmot learning of his family, its history, who he was, and what really happened back then and what was going on now. Alone in the New World of the America’s, Dezmot set out to travel the worlds, beginning in the site of his family’s home.
For years Dezmot searched without success for any clue to his past and of his father, years and worlds went by and it seemed as though he would be lost forever. Then one night a small hooded individual with an odd looking mouse tail approached him. Handing him only a letter and saying nothing else they disappeared into a portal and closed it, while opening another for him. Deciding to go against instinct for the first time, Dezmot stepped into the portal, leaving his world. No one but he and the individual know what the letter read, all that Dezmot knows now is the place he must find is called “Traverse Town” and that the key and its bearer can help him.
While the only member of his original family he remembers is his father, Dezmot was raised in a stable environment with him. In their travels around the world, Felix took great care to expose Dezmot to as much as he could, while attempting to make him into an individual that could take care of himself in a world he was a constant stranger in. Dezmot learned how to defend himself, dance, sing, steal, swim, etc and nearly everything else his father could get him to. Of the martial arts he learned they were Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu, Karate, Aido, Kendo, Jujitsu, Muy Thai, and several styles of sword. The weapons he is familiar with are sword, staff, throwing knives, knife, escrima, and bow and arrow. Currently he only has a sword and uses his own variation of the sword he knows as well as a mixture of the martial arts he has learned. Dezmot has and always tries to keep fighting at a minimum between himself and anyone else.
--------------------------------------
Other
--------------------------------------
Unknown to Dezmot, he has had a split-personality from birth. Dezmot has no recollection of the other personality's experiences and can change at any given time. (Not often, but it does happen.)
Due to his nature, Dezmot must feed off of other individuals or organism's life force/energy to stay strong. Dezmot does this merely by any physical touch he can have with another living organism. The touch feels like being shocked, only slightly more painful. The touch is not automatic, it only happens when Dezmot chooses. Failing to do this over a long period of time will not kill him, he can’t starve to death from it, but it will weaken him significantly physically and physiologically. When he is in this state, it is unpredictable to say what and where he will get life force from. Another sign that he hasn't fed is the gradual change of his yellow/hazel eye color to gray. (This is not an ability used to attack or harm other characters at anytime.)
Also due to his nature, Dezmot never has to eat or drink and cannot sleep. While he can eat and drink it is not necessary, but helps him fit in, not being able to sleep however has forced him to learn how to fake sleeping for hours at a time over his life.
Alright I think I did everything and it's all done, so enjoy. =]

Other
--------------------------------------
Unknown to Dezmot, he has had a split-personality from birth.
