Sounds bothersome being an author. Makes you wonder about those authors who have autobiographies or even a little picture and description of themselves in the back cover.

Yurs, I'm going to have fun soon...
xD Those little back pages yes....that's going to be fun for me. Assuming I have ANY hardback any time soon. Even the mass market paperback/trade paperback tend to have something.

Yes, I think we'll all rush to the store and enjoy buying/reading your novel, which we simply haven't the foggiest of what the title or the contents will be. Or under which pseudonym it will be written.
Considering the circumstances I'm sure finding it will be a piece of cake!

Read my earlier posts, don't skip anything. *pats* Yes, I came on just to spite you. <3
Oh and...I'm not using a pseudonym unless absolutely forced to.

Put a panda cub on the front somewhere as a decal separate from the main cover, then we'll all know for sure. XD

Kempff's like Jason Bourne. He's always three steps ahead. (O___O)

I am currently unable to write (word processor on this computer will not open the document) and not willing to make the callous on my writing hand worse, so I'm back here for the next...hour and a half or so.
I'm sure you're all fine, I'm fine. Good let's move on.
What are you all looking for in literature today? What do you feel is missing? Are there any issues you feel are not addressed or are misconstrued? What do you think should be universally important in literature? Any questions for me/miscellaneous/whatever?
Since I've known you all for oh...a year at least minimum depending on who, I find your opinions valuable. (If no one responds you'll only break my heart. Your souls however, they will be my dinner. ...yeah.)

It needs to be original, but not so confusing that only you can understand it. Some symbolism would be nice. Not so much detail that it is boring to read.
I only have one question, Nivi... Can we each just have our own personal copy sent to us free of charge? ^^

What are you all looking for in literature today? My favorite genre is Fantasy, and my second favorite is Mystery. Sherlock Holmes and all that. I select the books I like based on writing style, and how encompassing the story is. For Fantasy, I don't care if it is cliché or not, but I want to be able to relate to the characters and sympathize with some and hate others. I just want to be swept into the story, no matter how cliché it may be. For Mystery, clearly I just want the mystery to be mindboggling, with hints throughout the story that, upon re-read, make everything fit together.
What do you feel is missing? There's nothing missing. Certain people like certain kind of books, so there's stuff for everyone out there.
Are there any issues you feel are not addressed or are misconstrued? We need more books like "Last Seen Wearing Trainers", exploring communication between people and how different traits are differetly perceived by different people.
What do you think should be universally important in literature? Stories should draw you in, and if possible learn you something new, or let you look at something you already knew in a different manner. (re-evaluate your priorities and review your view on something)
Any questions for me/miscellaneous/whatever? ;o Asking us what we feel is missing, do you intend to write that which we yearn for?

How about...you get being a close friend of mine for free? : D (If I become big that's a plus for you. Haha...)
I already have 30+ people who want a copy for free, in real life. Hopefully when I do eventually get published I'm given that number, depends on how much faith they have in me and the money involved. (30+ people is kind of small come to think of it...but you get the point. Not to mention...I'd have to ship you each a copy out of my pocket.)
Do I want to write what people yearn for....not precisely. I think it's important I do my own research, reading, studying, asking people opinions, etc...but writing exactly what they want...not so much. I can't really say I won't though, an example of things I like to write are meta-narratives and themes of existentialism. Even then that's not hitting the ever elusive nail on the head.

I have been meaning to comment on this for a while now...
After reading the first chapters, I think I sort of fell in love with your writing (I don't mean that the way it might sound to a lot of people, I promise). I mean to say is that just how you've been able to match the writing from the Twilight books...It's amazing. I mean, not a lot of people can go away from their own way of writing and try to match something that was in a book. The way you do it, it almost seems as though either:
- You're Stephenie Meyer
- You kidnapped her and made her write it for you
- You're just that good and that amazing
And since the first two don't sound too good of a chance at happening, I'm going to venture to say you're just that good ad you have a way with writing that hardly anyone anymore has.
All in all, I love it. It's a great take on those few months, and it's amazing to see what you do with Bella in that time.
Are you planning a sequel? Perhaps Edward's point of view in those months? That would be very interesting to see.

Unfortunately I'm putting the Blip of Time fan-fic on hold as of now... Currently I'm focusing on getting my own novel written and eventually published. The response to it has been encouraging though, so I can say without a doubt I will pick it up in the future.
As for your question Shane, I have entertained a lot of ideas about what will come after this fic, and possibly a point of view from Edward could come along.
A tip for any other up and coming writers, be very careful when writing in First person and Third person. Some genres and writers can work with both , others do not EVER. Once you get going it should become clear; main problem being, are you writing for the character/story or yourself?
