Appearance: Maedra has very pale skin, almost ghostly. It used to be a lovely cream color, but once he started delving in the dark magiks, he started to change.
His eyes became a sickly white, surrounding a sharp, blinding blue. Gaunt cheeks, a sharp chin, and thin, pointed ears, Maedra is not the most pleasant individual to look at.
He is about six and a half feet tall, which is a bit shorter than average for the rest of his race, but he makes up for it by being extremely physically fit. No body builder, Maedra doesn't have external muscle, but he has extensive stamina, allowing him to run, jump, swim or any other variety of physical activity for quite a length of time. Oddly thin for his fitness, he weighs about 50 kilograms, yet still average for an elf.
Maedra is often clothed in earth-toned fabric, perhaps a light cotton. Underneath, however, he has hardened leather armor to help lessen the majority of blows he may receive. It won't stop a claymore, but it would protect him from the quick slash of a dagger.

History: Maedra doesn't remember much of what happened when he was home. He knows about his studies in the magiks. He knows how to craft weapons (Satan's Fetters was hand crafted about 20 years ago). And he remembers the woods he was walking through when the darkness overtook his world. The red and orange leaves of fall. It was beautiful. And then those black creatures came and ripped through it. The fire kept the beasts back for a while, but neither the magik, nor the chain could kill them. Fortunately, he kept fighting them, backing up until he hit a door. A door in the middle of the forest was very odd, but he didn't think about it because he was too concerned about getting away. Just getting away. And then he showed up in Twilight Town, so he had been told it was called. The door wasn't there when he arrived. And that was it.

Weapon Name: Satan's Fetters
Weapon Description: Satan's Fetters is a set of two long chains with spikes welded onto the links. They are made of a carbon steel alloy, so they are light, but still very strong. The first ten inches of each isn't chain, but instead a bar of the same material, wrapped in thin leather cord to act as a handle. The last foot has 9 spliced lengths of one foot chains (to give a "cat-of-nine-tails" effect). Each chain (not including the handle) is about 7 metres long.

Unique Notes: The chains are most often used as whips, to take full advantage of the nine ends, but Maedra can channel bursts of fiery energy into them to make certain portions of it rigid.
Also, Maedra crafted the weapons himself.
Abilities:
Base Ability: Fire
Sub Abilities:
Devil's Embrace: Tremors surge through the ground towards where the enemy/enemies is/are standing. It breaks up the ground with a 15 meter radius around a point set by Maedra. Fire shoots up through these cracks, as if from hell itself, and scorches anything within that 30 meter circle.
Lick of the Flame: Fire shoots through Satan's Fetters when it is snapped and tongues of flame attack the enemy, causing fire damage (separate from damage done by the chain itself).
Ring of Fire: Maedra calls a circle of flame to surround himself, blocking any magical attack. These rings then duplicate and shift slightly, then duplicate again, until Maedra is surrounded by flame above, below, and around: a sphere with a diameter of about 3 metres. The flames are thick, so it's impossible to see through (both for Maedra as well as enemies).
