"By orders of the Superior I have no choice but to take your heart."
Grabbing the knight by his armor as though it was as soft as cloth, the towering Nobody known only as Lexaeus tosses the knight into a pool of darkness consisting of thousands of Heartless. The sounds of the knight screaming in agonizing pain have no effect on this one, who had no such feelings such as sympathy anymore. Instead he just stands there watching waiting to see what would happen with a cold expressionless look on his face. Lexaeus had no feelings at all, that was the price he had to pay in order to become a Nobody and receive this power.
It was months after he and his fellow colleagues abandoned their hearts to the darkness for the sake of knowledge and power as well as banishing their mentor Ansem into a realm of nothingness. The one formerly known as Xehanort had now ordered him and the other four members to go and search for new members to raise their numbers. With no reason to disobey this direct order from the Superior, Lexaeus set forth to other worlds in search of possible candidates for their distinct Order. Many appeared to be strong willed but when the moment was at hand they were nothing more than pitiful insects.
Even the brave knight who had fought valiantly against the Silent Hero ended up being another weak hearted individual.
"You disappoint me." he coldly said looking down at the lowly Heartless that he had become with no sign of regret or pity on is face. Placing the back of his tomahawk on his broad shoulders Lexaeus turned his back away from the Heartless not caring what would happen to them or even this world that was left unprotected thanks to him. A Corridor of Darkness spawned out from the shadows and Lexaeus exited into the portal vanishing in a stream of black smoke into the sky until there was nothing left.
If he had the ability to feel emotions then one would see that The Silent Hero felt remorseful over the countless lives that were slain by his black and red blade. He had hopes that he would have found at least one person in that entire world capable of becoming a Nobody like him, just to all of the lives that had been lost weren't in vain. But alas it was just one big let down that didn't affect him in any way whatsoever.
He returned moments later in The World that Never Was walking around the dark city's streets. With each step he took the ground seemed to shake a bit.
"No success eh Aeleus?" a cocky voice said from above him. The man had his face hidden under a black hood shadowing his face in complete darkness. He wore the same uniform as Lexaeus but had less of an upper body build like he did.
"Do not call me by that name anymore Xigbar." he snapped back at him. "We have abandoned our past existence and we are not who we once were."
"Yadda yadda yadda I know, I know, sheesh just having some fun with you. Don't have to all serious like some kind of robot or something." He mumbles something under his voice. "What a party pooper."
"Have you completed your mission?" Lexaeus asks sounding a bit annoyed since he already knew the answer.
"Nope not yet, but I think I'm close with this next guy, he looks like a real winner if you know what I mean. But I decided to let him enjoy his last day as a human. You know while he still is one. And you?"
"No, and I suggest you take care of this person right away The Superior is growing impatient and he will not tolerate any slacking off."
"Hmph you ain't gonna tell on me now are ya?"
"I suppose I won't." he jokingly remarked back at Xigbar almost cracking a smile when he said it.
"How mean! You better not." The freelance shooter leaves Lexaeus via Corridor of Darkness.
As he headed to the Castle That Never Was which was their Organizations secret base of operations, he senses a presence nearby. The scent is familiar and the silent hero races over to there the signal gets stronger. He turns a corner heading to an alleyway and stops looking down to see a person lying there unconscious. Lexaeus smiles knowing who this person is, or was to be exact.
"You managed to pass. I guess it wasn't all a waste of time after all."
