I got news of this right after I got home from school.
In a way, I was like,"...man, that sucks." then, in a way, I didn't seem to care much. Maybe because I never really watched it after it because CN got horrible with their shows.
Oh well, at least it lived a good elven years... ...if only I could go back when I was seven to watch Tenchi Muyo again...

It was just going downhill after Tom turned into Thomas the Tank Engine 4.0. I mean I know I used to grow up on that shit, and remember Toonami even before Tom showed up and it was that one guy ,whose name escapes me, from Space Ghost. I pretty much neglected its existence when some genius decided to switch it to only once a week on Saturday.
Then there was Miguzi.....ewww.

Just because I just found this out:
- Those that worked on Toonami are basically spreading out to other areas, but mainly to Adult Swim.
- Tom's "Bang" at the end was a reference to Cowboy Bebop. Tom and Spike both have the same voice actor.

To be frank, that was probably the only cool ting that Tom 4 ever did hen he was on there. I can't believe it's all over, Toonami was where I started off with being an anime fanatic, it had such amazing shows and specials and movies. Nothing can replace what Toonami had not even Adult Swim, that one copied off of Toonamis Midnight run.

Ah, Midnight Run was awesome. I remember they had this special version where they showed musical anime and cartoons. I only remember the Gorillaz, and Daft Punk out of the MVs shown. They were really the only ones that mattered even though I'm not a terribly big fan of the Gorillaz.

They also showed some AMVs. If they made those AMVs or not, I've got no clue, but yeah.

OMG. Toonami started my love of anime! I would freak out if mom didn't get me home in time from school to watch....
I think I'm unreasonably sad about this...

Usually that would be my line, but I grew up with Toonami back when Moltar was the host, to the introduction of Tom, the death of Tom and the birth of Tom 2, and three. I used to play all of those games they used to have on their site.

*late reaction* 0_o woah....I didn't even realize it. >.> I always thought that Toonami was still going on until now. I remember seeing toonami for the first time...and like some people here, it started my anime fanatic. [That and W.B with Pokemon] I realized that the cartoons now were nothing like the first ones...that was back then when Cartoon Network could care-less about what came on. The few shows that come to my mind in the first Toonami was Dragon Ball Z and Out-Law Star....and also Gundam.
