I just got Spore, Right? Y'know, that awesome game I've been rambling about for a few weeks now? Well, my brother bought it for me! Good, right?
Nope. It seems that my computer's memory card is not good enough for SPORE, so I'm spending $40 to buy a new one that will work, not to mention wasting time finding someone who can actually install it! (And, if my mom tries to install the video card, someone to fix the computer as well. >,<)
So, do not mind my rant for the moment, but I am pretty fucking pissed.

So...You've waited so many weeks to get the game, you finally get it only to find your computer does not have enough memory to support the game?
>< >> <<
I'm so sorry for you! I mean, I know that feeling. Being so excited about something, getting it only to find you can't do anything with it yet.
It sucks, but I guess if you look at it from an optimistic point of view, once you do get everything installed and ready to go, you'll have so much fun with it. I mean you have it now, all you need to do is wait and get the memory card to play it. Then when you get it and get it installed, you'll feel so proud of yourself for finally getting it and being able to play with it

Video card, actually, my bad. I can start the game up, but it looks like... Super-pixely, near no image construction.
And I have been wanting SPORE for a long damn time >.> It's good someone else knows the ultimate feeling of disappointment. ;-;

Ah, video card. Yes, a video card is a very good thing to have. If you're willing to spend a super amount of money on one, you can get a very good one where just about every game you end up playing, every detailed is enhanced. Like moving water. It's actually pretty cool to see games with a good quality video card.
All the same, at least you know you can at least PLAY the game. Granted, it's not going to look good, you at least have the game in hand and if you really wanted to you could play it before you got the video card.
Either way, I can promise that you are not the only one who's ever been through something like that. Don't worry though, once you get what you need, it'll all work out for you

Twi.... At least you only need a new vid card. I had to buy a whole new computer just to play Assassin's Creed. And then when I got a brand new computer, I had to wait another two weeks because the built in graphics weren't good enough. So I bought the game first, and had to wait like a month and a half just to play it. Although, don't most people buy the computer first and then the game...? *shrugs* Call me unconventional, but I know EXACTLY what you mean.
