Audition post (400 words):
Through supernaturally animated eyes the star being viewed an impenetrable mass of darkness, radiating all around the former glory of Disney Castle. There was no way through it, at least not in its current state. It would have to find another way in to the source of this chaos.
'Restoring the Cornerstone of Light may be necessary if I am to seek passage to the castle,' it thought quite plainly. Its face showed no concern, for it was locked in place and unable to express any emotion at all. That did not change what it thought inside though, for despite its origins bringing back the vanished Cornerstone to its former glory was a task that escaped it. More investigation would be required, and in the meantime more Anti Forms would be invading worlds that yet escaped their touch. These were all the things that went through this person's mind among other details of the crisis. This was its purpose, its reason for existing in its current state. Until its task was complete it would have no rest.
"She can not hide forever," it spoke in a wise-sounding voice. That tone did not come just from the way it spoke with confidence, but also the weight its words held. The monster it referred to was nothing to be taken lightly. Even if She wasn't safe behind this wall of darkness charging in alone was akin to suicide. It would need allies... and time to adjust to its new form to bring out its full power.
Standing in the emptiness of the Sea of Stars without a Gummi Ship was a man-sized wooden doll garbed in a blue cape with yellow fabric underneath and a matching long stocking cap. Two locks of orange hair poked out from underneath the hat to curl up above its large eyes. The doll's arms were crossed in contemplation even if such a facial expression was impossible.
'I should go now before I risk revealing my presence,' it decided. Who knows if the Anti Forms would attack if anyone was spotted lingering around their protective shell for too long? It had seen what it needed to see and now it would be wisest to retreat and start solving the mysteries that surrounded the current war for domination of the universe. A white light appeared behind the animated doll in the shape of a five-pointed star. Its body moved backwards into the portal and vanished as the light flickered out, leaving nothing but darkness behind.
Some time later the same person walked the streets of Twilight Town, heading towards a certain abandoned mansion beyond the edge of the city walls. It knew what was hidden there in the basement and sought to check the study of DiZ, known as Ansem the Wise. It moved without worrying about drawing attention to itself, but as it passed by the town square a group of children, none older than five, began to gather around it as it walked, causing the star being to stop and given them as questioning a look its frozen features could offer.
Great costume some of them said while still others a few years younger asked if he was someone named Geno, or rather if he was the real one to be specific. They seemed to be referring to the action figure it had chosen to serve as a corporeal host body during its time in the Realm of Light. One of the kids was the very child who's toy it had "borrowed" for the time being and had apparently noticed him leaving the house after the transformation.
"That's right," he said, finding enjoyment from the innocence of the children. "I am Geno and I'm on my way to save to the world from evil! Don't be afraid, I'll return here to you when everyone is safe again."
The boy who owned its current body seemed to smile happily at that and so the star being performed a showy leap overhead, landing away from the group and then taking off towards the forest as they cheered for him. It may have been half the truth and half a show, but either way the one named ♥♪!? was happy to keep their hearts happy and full of light.
'Geno,' it thought as it entered the woods and began to slow its pace back down to a normal walk, contemplating how no one in the Realm would likely be able to understand its true name, let alone pronounce it. 'That will do.'
