Appearance: Belle's beauty exceeds that of any other woman from her village. She has long brown hair that falls to about mid back which is usually tied back with a light blue bow. She has light brown almond shaped eyes. She has ruby pink lips. Her normal apparel is a light blue dress with a white long sleeve v-neck blouse underneath with a white apron tied around her waist. She wears black slip-on shoes. When she goes out of the castle she can be seen wearing a light brown cloak. She was seen dancing with Beast in a golden yellow ballroom dress with yellow gloves and golden slippers.
Personality: Belle is a smart and lovely free-thinker who likes to read and go on adventures within her own imagination. She is not shy and is not afraid to speak her mind, especially in tight situations. She is very compassionate and takes care of those in need. Belle can also be stubborn, but she tries to protect people she truly loves.
Belle is a nonconformist for her time in many ways. The most pronounced is her love of books and knowledge, which the townspeople find odd for a woman. Belle also does not care about appearances, whether they pertain to herself or anyone else. This is highly ironic, considering she is seen as the most beautiful woman in her village.

Belle is very knowledgeable, probably one of the most knowledgeable one of the princesses. Also since she has a affinity for books it allows her to soak up knowledge quickly. She can administrator a situation and be able to react to it quickly. If she feels she or one of her allies is in danger she won't hesitate to react and do something that someone wouldn't guess she would do. And she can soak up the knowledge of someone's else abilities, though only a small bit. But, only if she has reason to.
Pure Light; Rose Whip
Belle's heart contains 'pure light', meaning she can fight back against the darkness. This ability can be performed alone, but it has a stronger affects when she is with the other princesses. Belle's form of pure light comes in the form of a rose. It's no ordinary rose though, instead of being a red rose it is a white rose, that looks like the pure light. She can transform it into a white rose whip, that has thorns and everything. The length of the whip can change so that she can reach her opponent without going within the vicinity of his/her reach. Can be used for 3 posts/turns, and can be activated again after 3.
Pure Light; Petals
From her 'pure rose', of which her pure light of heart transforms into, it can then explode into a bright explosion of nothing more than petals. The petals begin to circle around the vicinity that she is in, along with her allies. These petals are razor sharp and if anyone outside the area that the petals are circling will most likely get cut. This lasts for a few seconds, but within those few seconds Belle is able to heal her companions, but not herself. She will heal them between 35% and 65% of their full health depending upon how long the petals stay, which depends upon how much power Belle has left. She can only active this with 2 or more companions around, and they must be within 15 feet of her. The petals circling around them will then burst into a white light and disperse back into Belle. Can only be used every 4 turns/posts.

History:
Belle was a young French woman who dissolved her day in books. She was much of a carefree woman, caring and taking care of her father while attending to normal chores and duties. After moving to a nearby village she is seen as strange due to her preference for reading books and the dislike of being courted by the local hero. She lives only with her father, Maurice, who is an eccentric inventor and sometimes blows things up every once in awhile which makes Belle and her father seem even more strange.
Belle begins to worry about her father who went off to attend to some business and she worries even more when his horse returns without Maurice. She unhooks the cart and goes into the forest to go and look for her father. It's cold and freezing outside. She becomes even more worried because he could freeze to death. She rides off into the forest, she stumbles across a castle. The gate to the castle, open. Had her father gone in to seek shelter from the harsh cold? She sees faint footsteps in the snow and walks towards the castle, opening the castle door. Belle wanders around the castle, looking for her father. She finds him in the dungeon.
But...the master of the castle catches her before she can set her father free. The Master of the castle, is a bit terrifying to her as he is a beast. But, she begs the dungeon master to free her father, offering her own freedom in exchange for her father's. He agrees but on the condition that she will stay with him forever. He frees Belle's father however he is moved by Belle's beauty and her affection towards her father. Along with her boldness and bravery. He does not keep Belle in the cell he had kept her father instead he offers her a room in his castle. He gives her some conditions to go by; one of which she must not enter the West Wing of the castle.
Belle goes into tears when she is left alone in her room, she may never get to see her father again. She finally comes out of her room and is welcomed by the magically enchanted household items which have prepared a warm dinner for her. She returns to her room but finds herself very intrigued that she cannot enter the West Wing, so she heads there. She discovers a slashed portrait with strangely familiar blue eyes, and the enchanted rose. She slips the cover off of the rose..but is interrupted by the Beast snatching away the rose and tossing her out of the room. Losing his temper. Belle runs, leaving the securities of the castle. She flees with her horse. As she flees though, she gets chased by wolves.
She tries to defend off the wolves but the Beast, the very person who had made her run rescues her by fighting the wolves. Belle grateful for her rescue returns with the Beast to his castle. She tends to his wounds, she thanks him for saving her life. She stays with the Beast, they start to grow a friendship. There is one thing she doesn't know is that if the Beast can fall in love, they can return to human. The household items become very excited and optimistic about Belle staying here.
Finally, the Beast offers Belle an elegant dinner and a dance in the ballroom.
Belle asks to see her father, which the Beast hands her a mirror which she can see her father in. She looks into the mirror to find her father lost and sick in the forest. The Beast releases her to rescue her father. She finds her father, Maurice and takes him back to the village, where a mob gathers to take him to the asylum. Gaston, the village hero, offers to have Maurice spared if Belle agrees to marry him but she still refuses. She prove that her father's claim of the Beast's existence is true, Belle uses the magic mirror to show the villagers an image of the Beast. The villagers become frightened as they realize that the Beast is real. Belle and her father, Maurice are locked in the house cellar to prevent them from warning the Beast.
Belle discovers that one of the household items, Chip, a teacup, had tagged along he helps Belle and her father escape from the cellar. They rush to the castle. As Belle arrives she finds that the Beast is not defending himself but he then fights back at the sight of Belle. The battle between Gaston and Beast becomes heated. Gaston stabs Beast in the back after he had shown Gaston some mercy. Gaston looses his footing and falls off the roof, into the deep chasm below.
Belle tries to reassure the badly wounded Beast that everything will be fine, but he knows that his wound is fatal and believes he is about to die. Belle holding the beast in her arms whispers in tears that she loves him, just before the last petal falls from the rose. Before Belle's eyes, the Beast then is transformed to his human form--unrecognizable except for his blue eyes. Belle and the prince kiss, the curse is broken, the castle becomes beautiful again and the enchanted objects turn back into humans.

- Kingdom Hearts: At some point in her life, while she is living in Beast's Castle, Belle is kidnapped by Maleficent and her homeworld is destroyed. Belle is then taken to Hollow Bastion, where she finds that she is one of seven maidens of purest heart, namely the Princesses of Heart, along with Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Jasmine, Alice and Kairi, and is needed to open the door to the heart of all worlds, known as Kingdom Hearts. Returning home, Belle and Beast go back to their normal lives, until a mysterious and blinded rage overcomes the Beast and changes his attitude, causing him to lock the entire staff in the tower and forbid Belle to free them. Belle is too frightened of Beast at the time, but fortunately, Sora, Donald and Goofy arrive in Belle's world to seal its keyhole and ensure its survival. Belle tells Sora that Beast is acting strangely, leading to Sora's offer of help. It is later revealed that Beast was being manipulated by a member of Organization XIII, Xaldin, who was hoping to turn Beast into a Heartless and a Nobody. Later on, Belle and the rose are held hostage by Xaldin. Xaldin attempts to force the Beast to choose what is truly important to him. While the Beast himself stands helpless, Belle demonstrates her courage-she elbows Xaldin in the stomach. As he reacts, she snatches the rose from his arms and dashes back into the castle, allowing a safe battle. After Xaldin's demise, Belle and Beast's life returns to normal, and by the end of the game, Beast has turned back into the Prince, embracing Belle once again.
- Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days: Beast and Belle are slated to appear in the upcoming game for the Nintendo DS, although their roles are currently unknown.
