Lying in bed sleeping in as usual was the one and only: Crono. His hair was incredibly messy, but then again when was it not? He was dreaming peacefully until he heard a voice "Crono... Crono... Hey Crono!" His light blue eyes opened as he began to register what was happening, He glanced groggily at his mother as she opened up the shade drawing in the light. Crono looked now, fully awake as his mother sighed hearing the faint sound of a bell in the distance. "You didn't sleep at all last night because you were so excited about the fair right?" She said slightly chuckling "You didn't even change out of your clothes!" she looked over at her son as he scratched the back of his head and laughed a bit "Yeah I guess so..." He said as he stood up fully clothed in his teal tunic and tan pants. His mom began to go downstairs as Crono quickly made his bed and ran down the stairs. When he made it down stairs he looked over at his cat that was laying atop the kitchen counter. He smiled as he pet it "Good morning Patches" he said as it let out a content meow. He walked over to his mom as she handed him a plate of toast and a small blue pouch that contained 500 munny, his allowance. Crono gave her a hug as he said thanks and began to run out the door until his mom called out "Don't forget to see your inventor friends invention!" Crono nodded remembering how much Lucca had been boasting about her "super dimensional warp" and headed out the door. As Crono walked to the fair a few heartless began to brew around him Crono's look turned from happy and carefree to determined and ready. He got into his fighting stance as he pulled out his iron kantana. The heartless charged foreword but Crono dodged them and jumped foreword proceeding to slash one of the beasts twice, once vertically the second horizontally. He kicked off it and jumped back to his original position which was now surrounded by the heartless. Crono wasn't worried, in fact he was glad. He put his sword to his side as he jumped into the air and began to twirl as if he were in a whirlwind cutting up each heartless that had surrounded him, this "tech" was known as the cyclone. He flipped his sword around and slid it into its case and smirked as the last heartless evaporated. He then smiled boldly as he did his own victory pose. He then continued on to the fair and ultimately the beginning of his destiny...

Make Crono a mute and I'll consider it. XD Just kidding. Actually there's not much to be gotten from this audition. Crono's a good kid to his mom. OK. Crono can fight. OK, we know that too. The only real character-specific details shown here seem to be that Crono sleeps in his clothes when he's excited/restless... which isn't much.

Portraying a silent protagonist is right up there in the RP challenges list. Unfortunately I don't see anything here to make me think this is Crono and couldn't have the name replaced with, say, "Sora" and still sound pretty generically correct aside from naming his tech as one we know from the game, but even that isn't exactly unique. The important part of an audition is to make it stand out as something that really fits the character. This might fit Crono, but it just doesn't stand out enough to not fit a lot of other people too.

This could actually be fixed with more inner thought on Crono's part, which we have all but none of here, delving into his actual mindset and his feelings in order to personalize the scene more as his own. I recommend that if you end up having to try again.

By showing that he is good to his mom I was basically trying to portray that Crono is very kind hearted as I tried to show even with his cat... If you really think about it Crono is simmilar to Sora... Determined, kind, willing to help someone he had only just met cause that is the heroic kind of guy he is, etc, Im sorry if my arguements come off as rude but I simply just wanted to give you back my 2 cents...

You'll find I didn't say any of it was wrong. In fact I said both parts of it were right. But it was just the bare basics that anybody could do, really. If two other mods think that's enough to approve it then that's fine, but you still gave him no real internal presence in the audition to give it real character depth.
