Race:Alex is known as a Karinian. Karinians, live on the planet Karinia, (Whoa!). Karinians each have their own special element of power that flows through their veins like blood. Whenever you pass a Karinian, you can feel some sort of radiation of power, such as if someone had fire, you'd feel a slight heat, or if someone had light, you'd feel a slight hope. Another note of recognizing a Karinian is that they have certain markings on their face that you know are not tattoos.

Origin: Alex is from a world known as Karinia. Karinia is a huge vast medieval world that is covered with three huge regions. The first region(where Alex is from) is known as Ockrosh which is a land covered with many plateaus, mountains, forests, rivers, and vast plains. The majority of Karinia lives here with many towns and villages. The kingdom of Karinia is located there along with the on a huge mountain top which is surrounded by a vast forest. The second one is known as Garanok which is rocky, humid, and barren. In the center of it, which is the capital, A huge volcano which is miles wide, in it, is a huge city where Karinians who are used to the heat live. The last region is very unknown to even the brightest of cartographers in Karinia. It is known as Salenka. Salenka is covered in dark forests and full of hellish creatures that would horrify even the strongest of souls. A handful of Karinians live there who were banished to the dark land eons ago, who were given unnatural long life. Many think that this land was cursed due to ancient battles long ago, and their blood saturated the soils, and their despair and anger corrupted the whole region all together. Karinia also has two moons, one of them is the world known as Destinan, and the other Eythaf.
Appearance:
Physical Features: Alex is about five foot eleven and and weighs about 145 pounds. Mainly muscle, but he is built lean and agile so he is not big.
Facial Features: Alex has a slight round boyish face and a small nose. His eyes are a deep blue color and he has medium-length shaggy blonde hair.
Clothing: Alex wears a dark blue tunic, and underneath that, a black undershirt. He also wears baggy black pants and brown leather boots that go up to his shin. His hands are wrapped in white wrappings that don't go to his fingers.
Miscellaneous: On his neck he wears a chain cross necklace plated with silver.
Personality:
Alex is a sarcastic, wisecracking, individual who sometimes doesn't know when to keep his trap shut. However, he is very kind and honorable and will do all that he can to stand for what he believes in. However, in battle hes completely ruthless and will not stop unless they are down.

Weapon Description: Alex carries a longsword with a silver plated hilt with two sapphires embedded on two sides of it. The sheath is a dark brown leather with a silver "K" embedded in the middle.
Unique Notes: The sword has been passed down Alex's family from generation to generation of the Kainan family. To anybody else who wields it, it's just a normal sword. But someone with Kainan blood who wields it automatically knows the feel and structure of the sword naturally, basically mastering it with one touch.

History: Karinia was once a troubled planet that was plagued by a man who had seized control of the entire planet. How was he able to accomplish this? A man single handedly controlling the entire world? However, he was no ordinary Karinian. His power was foul, dark, and evil. Many had called him the inferno, for once he was near, or approaching, a feeling of destruction came upon you. He stole the souls of countless, which fed his incredible power. He had overthrown the kingdom and corrupted many of the soldiers to do his own bidding. Karinia's skies eventually turned into a blood read, the seas a dark black, and the trees, a menacing purple. It seems that the whole world would become Salenka.
However, not all was lost. A man, who had been forming a rebellion, prayed to God for hope, and asked for aid from the guardians of Karinia. They answered his pleas and he attacked the scourging forces of evil. The man's name was Norman, Norman Kainan. He lead his army to battle. Many were lost, but many were vanquished as well. Norman, with only a handful of troops left, successful confronted The Inferno in battle. They had mustered all their strength to fight this great duel, and eventually took him down. As the dark lord lay motionless, he faded into a dark mist, disappearing from their eyes. Slowly, but surely the skies cleared to their natural state, and so did everything else.
Years later, Norman married a woman who was in his rebellion, Sonya Veromni. The eventually had a child and named him Alexander. Alexander was trained by his father the instincts and awareness methods to be a great warrior. Alex learned well, and soon was Almost as good as his father. Then, suddenly a familiar dark mist was felt by Norman. And his fears were true. After years of self exile, The Inferno had returned. Without warning, he instantly slaughtered Alex's mother. Norman was in shock and instantly drew battle with the villain. However, the Inferno was stronger, and took down Norman. Hard. Alex could do nothing but watch as his father was pummeled into the dirt. Then, to finish it, The Inferno impaled his father through the chest with a lance made of pure dark energy. Leaving Alex's father to suffer, the Inferno teleported into a dark void, disappearing with his vengeance quenched. He had nobody to oppose him now. Alex had burst into a cry. His mother was dead, and his father lay dying at his lap. Norman, at his last breath, passed the Kainan sword onto Alex before he headed into the light. His final words were. "When I am dead son, do not despair, do not feel total grief. It is not your fault, and please do not let my death control your feelings. I have one final request for you though, You must follow my footsteps and destroy him. If not all..is..lost."
Alex was true to his fathers words and had managed to meet some people who were willing to believe his story. Even the dark lord's apprentice found redemption and joined his cause. Alex and his party would not have stood a chance at all, but something happened. An ancient power, unlocked in Alex and his friends. It was power known as Omni. Omni meaning "all" granted them an incredible power that granted them limitless power. Thus with this power they vanquished the Inferno for good. They were victorious, but Alex felt uneasy about such a great power. He didn't want to become drunk with power like the Inferno so he banished the power from his body and his friends. Thus after that, an expected era of peace calmed the restless planet.
However, one day Normans spirit approached Alex. Telling him that he is needed elsewhere where the shadows and darkness thrive. He told Alex that the 4 must be stopped before everything that light works so hard for, is lost. Thus Alex follows his father's spirit into a void, where Alex begins his journey to help aid against the Universe's greatest struggle.
