Name: Beatrix
Alias:
Age: 29-ish
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Alignment: Hero
Origin: City Treno; World called Gaia.
-----------------------
.characteristic.depth.
-----------------------
Appearance:
Weight[/sup] Unknown, may be assumed to be moderate weight.
Hair[/sup] Caramel colored, curly hair. Though it reaches only to the shoulder-blades, it may be assumed that, fully straightened out, her hair would reach lower. Possibly to the lowest end of her back, but I'm not sure. A particular trait of the hair is that it covers part of Beatrix's face, and most notably the part which has an eye patch covering her eye.
Build[/sup] Averagely white. A slender frame, but by no means a weak one. She's stronger than she looks; and well endowed in uh, certain areas.
Facial Features:
Eyes[/sup] Only one, which is brown in color. Quite a cautious and sharp eye. Though she lacks her right eye, which is consequently covered by an eyepatch, her perception of depth seems not to have suffered too much; her adequacy at guessing the distance between her target and herself is still remarkably high.
Build[/sup] A narrow face, which is thin but still well-shaped.
Clothing:
Upper Beatrix conceals her right eye with a silver-colored eyepatch, presumably of comfortable to wear material that is also adequate in the defense. She wears a... Top that looks very much like a combination of corset and shirt. It has several strings like a corset, no sleeves, and flaps like a shirt. Save for the flaps, which are crimson in color, the shirt/corset/whatever is white in color. It's made of very strong, very powerful material that could equal an armor's durability. Well, maybe because she also wears armor underneath. It's... Difficult to tell where her armor is. It may be assumed to be reinforced with maille, and she wears something underneath it as well, possibly a maille shirt. Beatrix additionally wears a guard over her hands, which leave nothing but her fingers free to move. The guard is double-layered
; a tight inner-guard with an extended outer-guard for extra protection. It goes up to the elbows, where an iron ring keeps it in place.
Lower To continue on with the outfit, Beatrix wears a large brown and red colored belt, tilted diagonally on her waist, which holds a sheath for Save the Queen. The white shirt described in the Top ends in a trench-coat-esque manner here. The General wears a pair of maroon-colored pants that reach down to her feet. In turn, those are covered by two simple white shoes.
Unique Here's a picture, and here's a pretty accurate cosplay. And here's concept art.

Personality:[/blockquote]
Resolve: Her life has been pledged to serving and protecting the Alexandrian Royal Family. Though seperated from those she swore fealty to, Beatrix travels the worlds in search of clues about Princess Garnet, Steiner, or any other individual that may be connected to Garnet. Her resolve to Garnet can be seen as that of an older sister looking out for her younger sister. A secondary goal she pursues is the downbringing of Kuja, who she blames for the destruction of their world.
Fears: A mostly fearless General, who seems to hold back against nothing. She faces her foes unafraid, her back straight and her blade held proudly. She holds no qualms about laying down her life for the Princess. The only one fear she may have is that she is but a puppet with no free will, bound to do as she is told for all her life.
Hopes: To find the Princess, and protect her from harm. To see the Princess grow into an admirable Queen, who leads Alexandria to glory. To see her World restored, and Alexandria returned.
Hobbies: Unknown. Her strong dedication to her devotion leaves little room for other pursuits.
Public Personality/Private Personality:
Described as a cold person, Beatrix holds her emotion in check well. Never losing her composure, seemingly never losing her way, she stands proud and straight. She bears a no nonsense attitude, handling things as efficient and quick as is appropriate. She is, however, still an honorable woman, who does not prey on the weak and doesn't like to use her power as a tool of persuasion. She often speaks formally to others. In battle, however, she is rather arrogant - An arrogance she has earned, being reknowned as one of the strongest, if not strongest fighters in her own world. Merciless to those that attempt to kill her Princess, but has shown mercy in the past in dealing with those that she deemed of no threat.
Inside, though, Beatrix is human as any other. She holds her worries, her doubts and her regret. A firm believer in her own strength, she dislikes having to stand by. Her pride makes her desire to do all that she can herself, rather than have someone else pick the buns out of the fire for her; especially if she can do it herself at that time and if there is no reason to pull someone else in.

Class: Mage
Weapons:
Weapon Name: Save the Queen
Weapon Description: A finely forged sword. Its name is, probably, derived from its function, which is to, well, Save the Queen! It's much like any other sword otherwise, though. Check the body pictures to see what it looks like, I can't describe it.
Unique Notes:
Abilities:
Base Ability: Seiken; "Holy Sword". Skills blessed by the Heavens themselves. Invoked by the sword, to slay those that stand in your way.[/size]
Abilities:
Seiken: A sword blessed by the Heavens themselves. Beatrix's attacks possess tremendous strength behind them; her attack strength is almost inhuman, able to surpass even that of Garnet's Summons. A blade brightly shining with light, piercing through the darkness. Seiken is a passive skill, whose effect is always active.
Climhazzard: Beatrix charges her sword with magic before striking at the air, unleashing a spherical shockwave reaction. The shockwaves are colored red and white, alternating eachother, and deal heavy damage to all those targets that happen to be hit by the shockwaves. It is the strongest Seiken skill to hit a multitude of targets, and is Beatrix's prime choice for dealing with vast numbers of enemies. It takes somewhat more energy than Stock Break, and as a result, is somewhat slower.
Shock: Beatrix's ultimate Seiken skill. Gathers vast amount of magical energies within the blade, which are then unleashed at an enemy. A spiral of white shockwaves pulse out from the target in spherical fashion, dealing massive damage to a single target. The most powerful of Seiken skills, it has been known to finish many fights in but a single strike. This is important as well, because after Shock, Beatrix cannot invoke any other Seiken or magical abilities until at least two turns have passed.

History:
Beatrix's history is hard to unveil. A noteworthy event is that Beatrix claims to have "defeated over a hundred knights by myself", indicating she has been a major asset to wars in the past. Her life in servitude of Queen Brahne, not much else is known of her past, however.
Beatrix loyally served her Queen with zeal, until a mystery man appeared. A man who named himself Kuja, and after whose appearance the Queen was driven to madness and greed. In her greed, the queen instigated wars with Burmecia and Lindblum, which Beatrix fought in. Though the General questioned the Queen's pursuit, she remained loyally by brahne's side...
Until Brahne ordered Garnet's execution. Faced with the truth of the queen's orders (Beatrix had attempted to rationalize it away as impossible), the General "broke" her allegiance to the Queen and sided with Garnet. Some time later, the Queen fell to Kuja's skullduggery, and not much later the entiriety of the world fell with it.
Her strong heart was what kept her alive. Possibly. Probably. Beatrix woke up in Traverse Town, greeted by many people who had become refugees from their world. But no Garnet. Refusing to believe that the Princess had died, Beatrix set off on a world-spanning journey, hoping to find traces of the Princess.
