I hate the rule where you have to have 50 post to make a cannon i what to play roxas really bad right now and if you can give me a chance i will show how good im at roxas

It is just a rule so that way people (mainly staff) can see that you'll be around long enough to play him as well as too see if you have what it takes to rp as him. If you are really serious about having him, then try to follow this rule. Anyways you have it easy, the post requirement was much more than it is now. Just join some regular rps and you'll be up to the requirements in no time. In fact if you want to we can do a speed rp and you can rp as him that way you'll have the post amount and we can get the chance to see how well you can play the role.

Get your own character first, RP, and you'll be at 30 in no time. Plus, you got the coolio chatting board and everything else to help you get along.
Finally, speed RP. Grab a partner and speed RP. Bound to get 30 in no time.

aw, everyone sucks at customs at first. It's a skill, really. Practice a little and eventually you'll have a great OC.

As much as you may say that you suck at customs, surely you must have the capability to role-play outside of canon characters. Not to mention, you'll get to the required post count far quicker through role-playing as an original character than posting in the OOC area (not to mention you'll escape the wrath of Iris as well).
Just take a look around at the other characters for tips and stuff and get an idea of how to construct an original character. There are plenty of guides available in the character board to help you as well as a large member-base who'll give you a hand with abilities and general personality and storyline ideas.

You my friend have the opposite of my affliction, canons are my bane. Yet now I have Sephiroth, which I wrote and wrote, re-wrote, etc and repeat for and still felt I'd surely fail...this is not so with non-canon characters (assuming you abide by the rules and put effort into them)! Have a member here take you under their wing, I nominate anyone in this thread (sorry NotHito, you is not included, sok get some characters up and I'm sure you'll be good).

Post count is easy, making the cut for a canon is hard. Sides, I thought Roxas was taken, which would make the audition a challenge.

Sorry, had to correct those two things from your original post before I could reply.
I highly doubt you suck with originals, especially if you're trying for a canon, which should be harder then an original. At least with original characters you create them yourself, therefore you automatically know everything about them. And if you don't know everything about them, you can add and take away things as you see fit to do so. Whereas with canon characters you have to follow what is already written for you. Hereby meaning you have to follow word for work how the character acts, and it leaves little room to change things should you do so.
Honestly 30 posts isn't impossible to get. And you know the reason that's there to begin with is to make sure members are going to be active instead of gaining a character and then leaving the site and never coming back. It's not difficult. You can get the post count through various means, so it's not like you can't get it. Hell if you wanted to, you could spend three days posting ten times in ten different threads or just getting them all at one time and replying to threads and making new friends.

Like I suggested before lets us do an rp together and you can be Roxas at least you'll have your 30 posts and we get to see how well you would rp as him.
