This is merely a theory I've heard on various KH boards so it doesn't hold much ground. But it is one that gives a compelling argument.

As many of you may or may not know, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days was recently released. Those who reserved the game were able to receive the game three days earlier than the marked release date. So now there are already videos of the games walk through on YouTube. In other related news. Some of you may have read that the voice actor for Mickey Mouse, Wayne Allwine, passed away May 18, 2009, at the age of 62, from complications due to diabetes. The latest issue of Nintendo Power is reporting that Pinocchio's World and Traverse Town, two previously unannounced worlds, will be appeared in the game. The Japanese Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days website has released new gameplay footage of the various members of Organization XIII including three secret characters that are playable in the game. Those three include Donald, Goofy, and Xion. The latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Dengeki PS featured an interview with Kingdom Hearts developer Tetsuya Nomura where he spoke shortly about the new games in development. HEARTSTATION.ORG has the full translated interview for you to read. Famitsu Online has been updated with two new articles relating to the two released KH games. They both reveal new screenshots, as well as a higher quality version of the start screen illustration used in Coded. New chapters of the mobile title will begin distributing June 3rd. |

AHEM!
I think I have been informed early on the release date of 358/2 days here in America, because KH insider doesn`t seem to have it. I was at the store the other day, and there was a preview box on the counter. So I asked the clerk when it was coming out, and as soon as he checked the computer, voila.
September 30th.
I thought it was coming out in August, but that was a false estimate. Now that I know the release date, I no longer have to anticipate about when it`s coming out. Now all there is to do is wait.
So, what do you think of that? =D
EDIT: -blinks- o.o Who put that weird custom title on my name there?

Can't wait until it releases so I can start owning my friends with Riku in multiplayer mode. >=)
I'm not sure if this is news but it does relate to 358/2 Days. KHInsider has released a translated version of the 358/2 Days Preview Manga for anyone who is a fan of the manga series of Kingdom Hearts.

Yeah, I already got the preview. Looks pretty good. They show the first 10 pages or something. In it they show all the thirteen members, and the mysterious (or perhaps not-so any more) fourteenth member.

Understated but equally cool about that picture is confirmation of young Kairi being in the game, as well as the awesomeness of Mickey being a D-Link for Aqua.
