Taking the appearance of a handsome young man, Cloud’s most distinguishable feature is his spikey, blonde hair (though it is tamer than during his younger years). Light-skinned and with a toned, but well-built physique, Cloud’s physical prowess stretches past human limits. Cloud’s eyes glow an eerie blue, as proof that he has been infused with Mako as a member of SOLDIER (though he technically never made it). He wears a dark blue, open-zip turtle neck jumper alongside baggy black pants and boots. On his left is a shoulder pad and a single black sleeve, these overall belt straps across his chest and ends down in a cloak for the lower left half of his body. A metal signet is evident on the shoulder pad, as black gloves are evident on his hands.

Melancholy and silent, Cloud is a hypocritical man who seeks forgiveness and yet can never forgive himself. Once he was a brash and arrogant warrior, a trait he mimicked off the friend who died for him; whilst traces of that attitude are still present now and again, they have mostly become suppressed by his wounded soul. Cloud is a reserved individual, the ‘quiet, strong type’ who distances himself from others for their own benefit. He believes no good can come from socializing with someone like him. Cool-headed and mature, Cloud is a hardened war veteran who had once lived a lie and struggles to deal with the harsh reality. He rarely smiles and he never laughs, there’s not much for him to be happy about.

History:
Cloud's past is his own and he has never cared to divulge it. However, it is known that his weakness once caused his friend's death and he has never forgiven himself for that. Had he only been stronger, his friend would still be with him...and with Aerith.
In order to defeat an old enemy, the One Winged Angel, Cloud sought to exploit the darkness. With the power of darkness at his beck and call, he won; but at what cost? Sephiroth fed on his darkness and survived, whilst Cloud had fallen too far into this darkness and lost his way to the light. The darkness he thought would grant him strength, instead gave him despair.
Thus, Cloud now searches for the embodiment of his darkness, name Sephiroth, to settle things once and for all on equal terms. This time around, Cloud desires to defeat the One Winged Angel using only his own strength so that he could banish both his own darkness and Sephiroth at the same time; for they are synonymous to him now.
They faced off once in the Olympus Coliseum, a fight that ended in a draw. The next time they met it was at the Dark Depths. Tifa proposed to Cloud that she'd give him her own light, so he would not suffocate from Sephiorth's darkness. He was undecided but eventually, he chose to find his own light rather than partake of another's. They fought again and once more it ended in a draw from which the two combatants were separated. As before, Cloud is currently on the search for Sephiroth again so that they might cross swords and he might finally defeat him; even if he has to try again and again.

Weapon Description: Reminiscent of the shape of his original Buster Sword, the First Tsurugi is a massive broad sword, though it appears to be more like a huge slab of iron than a sword, weighing at least thrice of even that. In actuality, First Tsurugi is six swords in one. All six have in common grey, mechanical blades and black hilts. The main sword, which forms the fundamental base, is dubbed ‘Vigilante’; appearing as a long sword with two segmented parts to the blade. It is able to shift from two forms; ‘normal’ mode and ‘battle’ mode in which the outer metal of the blades juts apart symmetrically vertical to broaden it. The hollow sword is named ‘Vendetta’ and it resembles a sabre in it has a single edge, though its straight like a long sword. The twin back swords are called ‘Merciless and Avenger’, both appearing like serrated versions of ‘Vendetta’ yet lacking a hand guard. ‘Ascalon and Sidewinder’ are the final pair of blades like butcher knives that complete First Tsurugi. Each sword can detach individually from the whole. The more swords combined, the more damage can be dealt; meaning the First Tsurugi as a whole has the highest damage output. The complete First Tsurugi is usually bound tightly by white gauzes around its blade and for the majority of fights, kept that way.
Unique Notes: The swords of First Tsurugi have all be specifically designed to react to Cloud’s mako such that they can be levitated with his will alone. When this happens, his swords gain a slight fiery blue aura around their centre. Instead of wielding the swords he can instead send them flying at frightening velocity towards the enemy like fighter jets. Thus, an enemy might find themselves attacked by six swords at once. This is also how Cloud is able to quickly assemble and reassemble First Tsurugi.

~Mako Enhancement: Cloud bears exceptional physical and mental abilities even for a member of SOLDIER. Whilst this applies all around, it is particularly so with his physical strength and endurance. This is the reason he can wield a sword like First Tsurugi effortlessly, even with one hand. He is capable of an insane, inhuman strength that while does not rival Hercules; is far beyond any normal human. His stamina seems endless and his body is tougher than most men, wounds that would normally cripple a man seem to only mildly wound him. Because of the strength in his legs, he’s also able to make great leaps and dashes. Being admonished by superior physical attributes all around, like speed and reflexes though to a lesser extent than physical strength, sets Cloud up to be a formidable physical fighter.
~Strike Raid: A violent forward thrust with his sword using Mako expulsion embodied by his blue aura; during use, it makes Cloud appear to be an azure speeding comet. The Mako aura around him during this makes Cloud absolutely impervious to any kind of harm from the front, from which he is thrusting and the full extent of Mako is being expelled. Not only this, but since the remnants of this Mako is spilled around him on all sides (above, left, right and even below), Cloud takes reduced damage in these areas during execution of Strike Raid (approximately 1/3 of maximum damage, but status effects still work on the sides). The only place truly vulnerable when Cloud uses this is from behind, where there is no Mako aura shielding him. Each Strike Raid travels for a maximum of 100 metres, moving at approximately the maximum speed of an average car.
~Omnislash: One of the forms of Cloud’s ultimate ability, a version which can only be used when the whole of First Tsurgi is together. In this Omnislash, Cloud begins by constructing a Mako aura around himself that repels most incoming attacks (physical or magical). This protects him for the one turn he needs to stand still to charge up and use Omnislash. The turn after he initiates this ability, Cloud then proceeds to be able to levitate (two stories at the highest) and be surrounded by an electrical current of Mako. During this, Cloud only takes 1/4 of normal damage and no attack can be fatal on him; attacks concentrated on specific regions of his body can be diffused and thus made far less substantial. Even the strongest attacks will not make him flinch. From the charged up Mako, Cloud gains a boost in his sword’s damage output, enough that allows him to break through most physical and magical defences with sheer force of power. Unfortunately, in this state, Cloud is only able to levitate at the speed of an average person running (Which is much slower than his superhuman running). Omnislash lasts for three turns before Cloud ends it by homing in on an enemy from above and plunging his sword downwards; causing a powerful pulse of Mako in all directions on the ground. This pulse is enough to break bones and stone alike, before sending opponents flying back. Omnislash requires a seven turn cooldown before using again.
