History
The life of Alistair Herriot was no more than that of the average human in the universe of Planar Chaos, growing up in the same lifestyle as all of those around him as he aspired to do no more than look to follow in his father’s footsteps, a fate that was given to him pretty much from birth. Planar Chaos was a rather small universe, consisting of no more than 5 planets that were referred to only by number, possessing no unique identity whatsoever aside from that one figure. Alistair would be born on Planet 4, a planet not much different in overall make-up to the planet that we commonly know as Earth. Unlike Earth however, each planet was ruled over by a sole figure, who would decide each fate of the planet. These people weren’t immortals, merely individuals who were seen fit to deserve the title each time. They were judged upon their power by a group known as the “Mystics”, mages who had reached immortality and were respected for their wisdom and judgement, before then being assigned to rule a respective world. Should a leader die, then they would be replaced through the judgement of the “Mystics”. Any form of treason upon a ruler would place the perpetrator under penalty of death, carried out by the “Mystics” themselves. Such a strict law existed in this universe was carried out without fault. All was good at this point in time for Planar Chaos.
Alistair Herriot would be born in the year 1210, that year being 1210 years since the creation of the universe itself, which was supposedly performed by the “Mystics”, another reason for why they were held in such high regard, almost viewed as gods. His parents held very stereotypical roles in their community, his mother being a housewife who also worked part-time in order to provide for the community; helping with medical issues, whilst his father was an Imperial Knight for the Army of their leader, Cisenam, ranked as a Lieutenant-General. Alistair’s future would see him join the Military Academy at the age of 6, where all male youths would be educated generally as well as taught the basics of combat and become trained to form an army for their world, always looking for the future of each planet in order to keep a positive lifestyle.
Over the years, a young Alistair Herriot would grow into what seemed to be the model student of the arts, showing great potential to follow his father into the high-ranks of the army and become respected as a top-class knight. At the age of 16, he would become officially enrolled into the main army as an officer and be given the chance to start making his way up as part of a Special Forces division, a team assembled especially to deal with front-on problems around the world who would dispose of any deviance and perform any other task that they were required to. As years would pass, Alistair Herriot would continue to make his way up through the ranks until he would finally reach the goal of his father’s rank at the age of 35; Lieutenant-General.
He’d developed into quite the soldier; able to make definitive judgements in battle as well as taking control and allowing his team to conduct themselves in an efficient manner, teaching his team to organise themselves when they were on the back foot and to then reverse a situation back in their favour. His ability to read a battle was incredible, to anticipate his opponent’s movements and then use that to set-up counter-attacking measures to deal with the threat. Receiving high recommendations for a superior placement in the military, his retired father would watch on as his son continued to reach new levels of success, finally reaching the title of “General of the Army” by the age of 40. Rumours were growing about the possibility of him being in the running for the new leader of Planet 4.
There was something mysterious about the set-up of this universe that no-one had yet to comment on. Every planet was built with militaristic intentions, yet the laws prevented any planet from really declaring war upon each other, instead leaving militaries to deal with their own troubles. Whilst the humans were effectively oblivious to this sinister truth, the “Mystics” were just about ready to unleash a bombshell on the universe, something that would shock every single planet. There was a secret agenda to the build-up of the universe that was always hidden from them, the main shock being that the universe was far older than 1250 years old at this point in time. In fact, it was several times as old as that.
The “Mystics” revealed that this was the 4th version of the universe, which they had actually been around for well over 5000 years. The purpose of each version was to provide entertainment for the “Mystics”, who would study the progression of each universe until it reached 1250 years old, before they would then force each world to plunge into an intergalactic war against the others, an epic fight to the death that would see one world emerge victorious. Essentially, they were informed that they had a decade to go into war and for someone to win. Should there be no winner by the end of that period, the universe would be destroyed and re-created all over again; continuing the cycle. If a world won this gigantic war, then they would be rewarded beyond their wildest dreams. It was then that the war would begin between each planet and the fate of the universe would be decided.
No-one would question the “Mystics” through sheer fear as to what they were capable of and Alistair Herriot would lead his army into the battle zone, slaughtering enemies left and right as he fought to keep his friends and family alive. The war took millions of lives, including those of Alistair’s parents and close friends, driving him almost to the brink of insanity. The war was close to the decade mark by this point and there were still three planets in the fight. It was becoming more and more clear that there would be no victor emerging. In an effort to survive, the three remaining planets joined forces and launched a frontal attack on the “Mystics”.
Needless to say, the almighty force of these god-like figures was as true as everyone believed and the remaining planets were slaughtered like insects. In the dying moments, Alistair would watch as those of his remaining comrades would fall around him and the feeling of despair would consume him and he would plead for his life from a source that was more than willing to agree to the request; the Devil himself. As it appeared that Alistair had no hope of survival, he would be teleported to the Underworld and to safety, in exchange for his soul and service for as long as the Devil wished to have it.
In the Underworld, the Devil would be kind enough to explain what Alistair had just escaped from, stating everything that the “Mystics” had done in their past and what truly would have happened if one world would have survived the war. They would have been slaughtered as well, the “reward” being the opportunity to be game in a hunting game for the elite gods. There was no surviving a particular version of the universe; death was always inevitable. Therefore, to repay the Devil for sparing his life, Alistair would be forced to serve as effectively the Devil’s “Champion”, the best in his military as Alistair had proved to be in his own world. He would be given the armour that he wears now as well as the weapon and be ordered to lead the armies of Hell into war against wherever the Devil saw fit. Naturally, placing Alistair into a situation where he’d constantly be reminded of his past was just the sort of dark humour the Devil was renowned for.
Centuries would pass and Alistair would become renowned himself, feared throughout galaxies for his sheer strength as a fighter and a leader for successfully conquering in every battle he walked into, never beaten and rarely even threatened as he continuously brought more power back to his master. In reward, further power through Alistair’s inventory would be granted by the Devil, adding the features of telekinesis to his powers. Through having a purpose that was no more than simply fighting, Alistair would lose himself and forget his true identity, instead replacing it with the alias he was given by the Devil; “Oblivion”, in mockery of the state that his world had been sent into by the “Mystics”.
Oblivion would continue to fight onwards as the Devil requested, conquering more worlds until the Devil had every single planet and dimension that he desired. The former warrior had now represented the Dark Lord for a good couple of millenniums and was ranked as the highest and most feared weapon in the arsenal of the Devil. However, with no more worlds to conquer, Oblivion was now effectively made redundant and the Devil would imprison his Champion in a time-freeze where he would unleash the Champion should he ever need him in the future.
Times would pass and the Devil would find new toys to play with, including the Ferryman known as Kimi Räikkönen who would prove very useful as far as taking care of problems in worlds. General chaos could be found in other sources, which would satisfy the ruler of the Underworld for centuries to come, with Oblivion effectively forgotten and left in his prison cell, frozen in time and simply a memory in time. For now, the Devil would simply sit back and admire as his new-found minions would wreak havoc across the worlds and give people a new reason to fear what lurked below them. After all, the Devil had plans to expand his influence that he wanted to bring into action soon.
There was one universe that he hadn’t ventured into, despite having been contemplating the idea of taking it over for over a millennium. This universe was filled with worlds that took the idea of being militaristic to the extreme and was filled with amazingly powerful warriors. If there was one thing that the Devil wanted to add to his collection, it was another part of his army that was effectively super-godly and would help him dominate more parallel dimensions and other universes. However, taking command of this universe was more difficult than he expected. The units he sent in were all destroyed in no time and it made him think twice about sending in his better units in case the same happened. He needed that one person to make an impact on his army and lead them into the fight full of confidence.
He would turn back to the one person he could always count upon; Oblivion.
Brought back from his frozen state after a good 1600 years, Oblivion’s skills and ability to lead an entire army hadn’t dwindled in the slightest and he quite contently marched onwards into battle leading the forces of Hell to this new universe, taking each planet one by one and declaring the rightful ownership to his master. This victory was probably the most significant in the entire rampage that he had led throughout the entirety of space and Oblivion would be rewarded heavily for his dedication to the cause and his sheer determination to succeed. With this new universe under his control and the most powerful army in everything he had explored so far, he would allow Oblivion to travel through space and not be limited to being in the underworld until the Devil decided otherwise. It was this newfound freedom that would lead Oblivion to consider a future elsewhere and making the decision to do something worthwhile with his time. All these years he had been forced to serve and cursed to do no more than that he was trained for. Whilst the success and glory of being a top warrior kept his hunger for bloodlust low, there was one part of him, deep down below the surface that wanted revenge for having his life effectively stripped from him.
He wanted to return to Planar Chaos and seek revenge upon the “Mystics” for what they’d done to him.
Not exactly sure as to how long he’d been away, nor which version of the universe he would end up returning to, he knew that one way or another, he would need to find his way back to that universe and fight against the “Mystics” to end their vicious spree against mankind. Knowing that the Devil would be more than reluctant to allow Oblivion to travel there with part of his army, effectively entering a universe where the “Mystics” would slaughter every member of the army, Oblivion would conclude that it was necessary for him to seek out people equal to himself and lead them into Planar Chaos to destroy the “Mystics” once and for all.
Fortunately for Oblivion, he was in luck. The Devil had turned his attention to a new universe, better known as Kingdom Hearts. Whilst he didn’t wish to take it over, he had noted that there were several individuals there who seemed almost equal in power to Oblivion, who would suit his intentions perfectly. Gaining the respect from the Devil for his aspirations for sheer destruction as well as the agreement to let him go to Kingdom Hearts to seek out a team to take back to Planar Chaos. It was soon after the arrival of Oblivion in Traverse Town that he would receive information about a super-group; a faction that was looking for domination over every other faction in their path.
Oblivion had found his super-group.

Appearance:
Physical Features:
What is clear from the sheer size of the armour that cases the body of ‘Oblivion’ is that he’s a seriously big guy. Standing at a height of close to 8 and a half feet, the massive physique of the knight gives the appearance of a solid built that intimidates almost everybody that comes across him. Packed with sheer muscle underneath the armour, it would true to say that the actual armour itself doesn’t provide that much extra size to him. With no real space between the inside of his armour and the edge of his skin, it shows the gigantic size of his body underneath its protection, developed through years of wearing the armour and working with it, where continuously carrying the weight of the tempered metal has given him obscene physical power.
Whilst it’s not possible to see underneath the armour without ‘Oblivion’ wishing to remove it, the actual sight of the un-armoured knight isn’t that much less frightening than gazing upon him when he’s fully equipped. His body has a fairly dark tan to it, an almost typical Mediterranean complexion that would cause most Grecians to feel envious. Even though his physical body is large through sheer muscle, there’s no real tone to any of his body since all of it was developed naturally rather than through focused weight-training like many other people. However, no part of his body appears under-developed or out of proportion with the rest of him, giving him a monstrous physical shape.
Very few people have ever seen the knight outside of his armour, seeing as ‘Oblivion’ has almost allowed the metal plates to mould to his body, acting like a second skin for him. It’s almost never possible to see ‘Oblivion’ outside of his residence without the armour, only taking it off when inside a private residence where he’s out of the sight of the public in a situation where he considers himself safe. In all truth, he feels vulnerable whenever he takes it off; which he has good reason to be so.
Facial Features:
Headshot
The face of ‘Oblivion’ reflects that of a person who has been through much in his life, a veteran of war and forever scarred in more ways than one. Every individual feature is heavily defined, including the general shape of his head that is far bigger in size to the normal human, worn and heavily battered throughout the centuries. What’s almost impossible to ignore about ‘Oblivion’ is the constant stern expression that he dons, a sense of negativity and hostility that shrouds him like an aura because of it, appearing extremely judgemental.
His eyes are seriously narrow and rather small in comparison to the rest of his body, seeming slightly slanted and almost buried into his skull, surrounded by dark skin caused by a frequent lack of sleeping as well as a form of insomnia; giving the pale green/brown colour irises a more sinister look. Such features as his nose and his ears seem rather crushed; bruised from battle and never healed from their constant beatings. Through age, areas like his cheeks and brow are slightly wrinkled, just like the cuts and breaks in his skin from the scars on the right-hand side of his face, one cutting down in a thunderbolt-like fashion and another smaller straight cut on the top of his lip to the side of his nose.
Through constant experience with his armour, his hair is permanently cut short to an almost crew-cut shape, always covered by some form of bandana or small beanie hat to keep sweat from bothering him, although the lack of dark brown hair doesn’t contribute much to bother him. The only other real facial feature is the worn goatee style beard, most prominent just below his mouth with a shadowed area around both sides from rough shaving.
Clothing:
Armoured - Clicky!
There’s only one form of clothing that you’re likely to ever see ‘Oblivion’ wearing, unless you’re seriously fortunate; his armour. Made of extraordinarily tempered metals that hold strong against the most powerful of attacks and then keep going, he is coated from head to foot in this material, making attacking him directly from any angle an impossibility without going through the armour first.
Essentially, every part of this armour has small layers of metal on top of the other, reinforcing the individual pieces that make up the entire coat as they all lock into each other. His main body piece is almost an inch thick of dozens of different metals all compiled together and then shaped around the body of the wearer, with the shoulder-plates moulded onto the top from there. The long gauntlets on his arms were originally three individual pieces; upper-arm, lower-arm and hand, that were all afterwards brought into one piece for complete protection around his arms, the same happening for his grieves and his boots as well. In short, he looks like the typical medieval knight, a guardian whose armour is designed to intimidate before he even begins dealing damage, with the pads all covered with small spikes for further pain. The boots go up over the grieves, covering up to the knee-cap to complete the main body protection. For decoration purposes, large pieces of red cloth hang down from the collar-guard in a fashion that mocks a cape, creating a glorious image when he moves and they float behind him.
The helmet is probably the most intriguing piece of his attire, leaving what most people seem to think as the vulnerable spot for attacking ‘Oblivion’. Where the visor of the helmet would be, there is a large gap for where his eyes would stare outwards which then splits and goes down the front of the helmet, leaving a ‘T’ shaped hole at the front. People who have attempted to attack the area have found their swords shattered by a secreted panel underneath, meaning that no sword can actually reach the facial area of ‘Oblivion’, completing the armour that renders all weapon attacks completely useless. The top of the helmet has a makeshift mane of spikes that form a line down the back of the item, matching the two large curved spikes that lay at the back of his collar-guard.
When not in his armour, a rare occasion, ‘Oblivion’ will normally wear something along the lines of a basic sleeveless black shirt and large brown combat trousers with thick steel toe-capped boots, all accompanied by his bandana, nothing more than ordinary to distract attention away from the fact that he could be the ‘Oblivion’ knight. However, there are very few times that he can be seen wearing this, such as when he sleeps or when he goes to take a shower/swim.

Personality:
Resolve:
In this universe, ‘Oblivion’ has only one intention on his mind and that is to launch a vendetta on those who caused his life to be effectively destroyed when they plunged his world into that which he calls himself. Bloodthirsty and vengeful, the knight seeks to use this universe for his own personal gains through whatever means, even if it means working with others to do so. Once he has established himself in a position whereby he has rule over the universe of Kingdom Hearts, he will look to use the universe’s powers to seek out the one he left behind and obliterate those who remain from his previous existences. The name of ‘Alistair Herriot’ will be spoken once more.
Fears:
Having spent an eternity travelling through worlds and various planes, there is little fear left in the heart of the former General, who welcomes any threat that looks to fight him in order to remove it and prove his superiority further. The only thought that plays upon his mind is the possibility of returning back to his old universe to find himself completely forgotten in time, finding an advanced world where the past history has no more place and everything he ever fought for ignored and made redundant. Having not returned to his world since his escape, his lack of knowledge with regards to how long his absence has been, he grows ever more curious and pessimistic as to whether he is still remembered.
Hopes:
He aspires to make a positive start in the universe of Kingdom Hearts, by establishing himself in a group or an area where he can quite happily begin his plans. Not wishing to become part of a mass community, ‘Oblivion’ hopes to find a group that share his ideals to make his overall task easier; a group that he can quite easily dispose of should he need to, yet one that is strong enough to perform tasks as necessary. His short-term hopes are to make great headway towards leading a team to conquer worlds slowly. In the long-term, he hopes to make an emphatic return to Planar Chaos as a powerful leader like he was and announce his presence with an impact.
Hobbies:
A vast majority of the hobbies that ‘Oblivion’ enjoys are based around violence and heightening his skills as a fighter; keeping himself in top shape. This includes hunting, sparring and the occasional rampage whereby he’ll quite happily make his way through villages and towns and quite simply slaughter all those who stand in his way. Such a ruthless streak has been made possible by his overwhelming desire to achieve all of his goals.
The only other past-time that he does enjoy is swimming. He’ll spend hours of time simply relaxing in any body of water and letting every single care of the world exit his body in a form of meditation that he usually uses before battle to put himself in a state of mind whereby he can walk in and simply kill people without thinking twice.
Public Personality/Private Personality:
As one would imagine from the constant stern expression that he wears upon his face, ‘Oblivion’ is an extremely serious person and has very little time for fun or games. As far as he’s concerned, everything must be done for a cause, his priority being to fight for the cause that is his main goal. Anything that gets in his way is immediately considered a problem and must be removed in order for progress to be made. It is this general attitude that causes many people to immediately have a problem with him, which often leads to their deaths when they express their discomfort. ‘Oblivion’ is somebody who takes insults quite personally and will normally retaliate with extreme measures, which has given him the nickname of being rather a grumpy character.
In all truth, he has little time for people in general unless they are fighting for his cause. If someone were to approach him and attempt to converse with him, they’d find themselves completely ignored. He finds most people seriously time-wasting, not liking their carefree attitude and their lack of a reason to fight and live; their lack of a purpose. When it comes to addressing people that he will contently speak with, such discussion is normally limited to short and direct speech, as he simply talks with them for answers or information, nothing more. Everyone is treated equally and he has little respect for anyone. He has no interest for people’s personal lives or any other information they may have if it isn’t directly linked to him. It’s fair to say that he also has very little patience and his violent temper is pretty easy to summon.
One thing that is clear about ‘Oblivion’ is that despite being the sort of fighter whose style seems more like a barbarian, he’s far from prehistoric when it comes to fighting. He possesses the ability to adapt to any situation and has the intelligence to think about a situation and figure out away to deal with a testing opponent. He’ll take a situation and learn from it and then switch the situation around to favour him whenever he feels like it, letting the opponent believe that they’re in command before then snatching their positive position away from them. His approach is generally steady and precise, but always successful.
When he’s truly by himself, ‘Oblivion’ allows himself to be in company with his feelings, shedding the tough exterior that he uses to push people away. He prefers to shut himself away from society to allow himself to be completely alone with his thoughts and will sit back and consider every event in his life and debate whether he’s on the right track to achieving his objectives. Isolating himself in a room and sitting back and contemplating, he’ll just let all of his feelings that are usually bottled up during the day release and figure out everything that’s going on in his mind.
However, that’s not to say that he really has a soft centre. There’s no facade going on when he’s out in public, he’s simply in a state of mind where he shuts away all of his weaknesses and doesn’t let them bother him during the day. In private, he merely releases this state of being and all of the feelings unleash themselves upon him at once, which a couple of people have deemed as a weakness, despite it not really breaking any form of security whatsoever. In all fairness, he’s just as deadly in this state as he is normally, if not more so.
Compassion is a feeling that ‘Oblivion’ is almost incapable of; simply because of the amount of hatred that has filled his body. Therefore, it’s not really possible for him to feel any love to anyone in particular at this moment in time, especially not until he has gotten revenge for what was done to him and the community he belonged to all those years ago. Even the most attractive of women have failed to attract his attention and spells and enchantments have proved useless against the most stubborn and formidable of personalities.

Class: Warrior.
Weapons:
Weapon Name
“Damnation”.
Weapon Description
As shown in the armoured picture of ‘Oblivion’, the “Damnation” is a large broadsword that packs one hell of a punch when used. The weight of the sword is incredible, something that very few normal warriors can life, although ‘Oblivion’ has very little problems when it comes to using it, swinging it around as if it weighed no more than the average katana. Made in a similar fashion to his armour, compressed metals piled on top of each other, this weapon is amazingly durable, able to withstand mass amounts of damage before it begins to wear.
The length of the blade measures almost five feet in length and is almost crystal-like in shape, the blade starting off wide and then getting thinner as it gets longer, but only finishes an inch thinner than at the beginning. The hilt of the weapon is a foot long, allowing for it to be wielded in either one or both hands depending on which method ‘Oblivion’ requires to use it for. Moulded from solid gold and reinforced internally with titanium, it finishes the almost indestructible aura that the item has done for years in the past.
On each side of the weapon, there is visible text that is literally carved in, forming individual symbols that all link together to write a message; a blessing upon the sword to aid it and give it luck in battle. Whenever the sword is used in battle, the text seems to glow mysteriously as if in acknowledgement of it being used for its true purpose.

Abilities:
Base Ability: Enchanted Inventory
The mysterious thing about ‘Oblivion’ when it comes to fighting is that it’s not actually ‘Oblivion’ who possesses all of the powers that he has at his disposal. He merely channels all of his strength and power from the inventory that he has at his disposal, the inventory gifted to him by the Devil himself and enchanted to suit its user and its user only. The main powers of this mysterious enchantment are as follows:
Sub One: Armour
The armour that ‘Oblivion’ wears is tough enough as it is, extremely strong as well as fairly heavy, yet its wielder always seems more than capable of moving it as if it weighed nothing. This is part of the enchantment that has been placed upon the armour, which in simple terms is telekinesis. ‘Oblivion’ moves the armour partly with telekinesis, using it in co-ordination with moving it with his own body, something he has perfected over the years through sheer practice so that he can effectively reach speeds of a fairly fast sprint as his highest speed with all of the armour on. The fact that the armour is constantly covered with a telekinetic force means that ‘Oblivion’ merely has to think in order to use it, as well as still having the secondary function of the telekinetic coating, allowing him to exert force from any part of the armour to assist its defensive purpose, using the full extent of the telekinesis at his whim, using it as a reverse-magnet, repelling anything in close proximity. By emitting enough telekinesis from the armour, ‘Oblivion’ can use it to move underwater in a makeshift bubble as well as moving through other obstructions such as lava and even outer-space.
In truth, the telekinesis can actually control part of the armour itself, moving certain limbs to protect ‘Oblivion’ whether he’s in the armour or not, so he’s constantly got something defending him. If he expels enough telekinesis from the bottom of his boots, then he can effectively float upwards and move around through the sky.
Sub Two: Damnation
A similar enchantment is placed upon the “Damnation”, the broadsword that ‘Oblivion’ wields, except for the fact that the telekinesis is used in this ability offensively. Again, the edge of the blade is entirely coated in an invisible layer of telekinetic energy that can be used to add a little extra ‘edge’ [lolpun] to an attack or to simply add more to the attacking flare that ‘Oblivion’ possesses.
Whilst coated, the telekinesis can form an extension to the edge of the blade, making an invisible blade around the edge of the sword that’s still effectively invisible, which can be used to surprise the opponent when they believe they’ve evaded the attack but still receive damage from seemingly nowhere. The other variation of this attack is that the sword can be used to ‘fire’ the telekinesis. By slashing with the weapon, crescents of telekinesis or slashes that mock the attack dealt can fire from the sword and shoot after an opponent, chasing them down and dealing additional power from range against an opponent, making up for the lack of ranged attack that ‘Oblivion’ possesses otherwise.
With enough strength in an attack, Oblivion can slice his way through a brick wall if he applies sufficient force behind the telekinesis, literally blowing a hole that he can walk through in order to continue after his target.
Sub Three: Gauntlets
Just like the rest of his armour and the sword, the gauntlets that ‘Oblivion’ wears are also enchanted with a makeshift telekinesis spell that allows them to also use telekinesis in an offensive/defensive manner. Expanding from the telekinesis that acts as a barrier around the gauntlets, ‘Oblivion’ can use the telekinesis to give his attacks more of a ‘punch’ [uberlolpun]. By coating his fists with telekinesis and punching, his punches are absolutely devastating, able to smash through buildings with absolute ease and more than capable of taking somebody’s head off with one well-aimed strike. He can extend the telekinesis to levitate objects by channelling the power through the gauntlets, lifting objects that weigh up to a couple of tons and throwing them with some ease, as well as simply raising a hand to create a barrier to repel an opponent away from himself. By clapping both hands together, he can cause small shockwaves that echo throughout an arena and if directed at the floor, he can cause small-scale earthquakes. This technique effectively completes the telekinesis enchantment on his armour.
