So yes! Tonight, I most likely will not be on, and if I am not nearly as late since I have to be at school and on the bus by 6:30 am.

I'm going to New York with my college's art department from Sunday to Thursday evening. We're supposed to be back by 8pm on Thursday if all goes well.

Be good you guys. xD I'm leaving Bilby and High in charge for the four days...and I can check on you guys. My phone lets me. xD

Ah yes, New York City... been there a few times myself (once for jaw surgery, unfortunately). I'll say this for the Big Apple: you'll see more big buildings and urban lifestyle there than anywhere else, quite enough to last your imagination a lifetime. Here's a few handy suggestions:

Don't buy the street vendor hot dogs. They've been sitting in steaming water of questionable cleanliness for who knows how long. That, and even the street vendors are expensive.

Never walk anywhere alone. NYC is the only place I've ever seen a hospital and razor wire within ten feet of each other, so it has it's dark side as well.

Tie your purse/wallet to your clothes. Belt loops work well for this. If you're not lucky enough to have a wallet on a chain the next best thing is using one of those mini lobster claws. This may be a bit inconvenient at times, but at least you'll still have your purse/wallet at the end of the day.

Humanitarian as we all want to be, don't give money to people who say they're starving. Nine times out of ten they're drug addicts looking for someone to pay for their next fix. Better to work through a reputable charity, trust me.

Aaaaaaaand... that's about it! Have fun in the big city!

Ah New York....A place that I can't really live in. *is a....medium town*

Actually, as a tourist, I enjoyed being at New York. I've been there three times in recent years, and I always enjoyed them. ^_^ Just remember; bring a LOT of warm clothes. >.> New York is so cold the last time I was there...it was just the beginning of winter. I can't imagine how cold it is now. 0_o

My friend went to New York... And he and his mom got in a car accident (wasn't that serious though, I think it was more of a fender bender..)

I'm back! Thanks for the tips...I did all of them! Even not eating the hot dogs...though they were MUCH cheaper than the other choices. >>

It was a good trip! Good to visit and experience...but I'm glad to be home. XD
