Waking up in the morning, your thoughts are cluttered. It takes a moment for you to fully become aware of your surroundings, but once you do, everything about your life comes back to you.[/center][/b][/i]

Name ~ : Faceless

Age ~ : He looks to be about 30.

Birthplace ~ : Blessed Amulets. It's a very beautiful and wide grassland, stretching for miles around. He comes from the castle town of this land, called Estur. There are many surrounding villages, but he has always been oblivious to the quiet life of the surrounding area.

Birthday ~ : November 31st, or so he says.

Gender ~ : Male

Race ~ :Looks to be human.

~Appearance~

As you are heading out the door of your house, a small glimmer of light catches your eye. You turn around and see a mirror, putting you face to face with your reflection.

Physical appearance ~ :

Faceless

Faceless rarely ever lifts his mask, but when he does, what is seen underneath is what nobody expects. A young man, no more than 35 (estimately), with a mysterious look always revolving around him, and because of this, the unlucky who witness this assume him to be a Nobody, and immediately become wary (at least most who see him).

His build is rather average. He doesn't have a six-pack, nor is he chubby in any part of his body. He looks to be slightly anorexic, his ribs just being visible and his jaw a little firm for the norm.

Clothing/Accessories ~ : Faceless wears a mask that hides everything above his mouth, feathers and pearls jutting out of it's sides. He wears a purple and red kimono reaching all the way down to his ankles, with a red sash tying the kimono together. It is a very flowing kimono, giving him extensive room for movement. Underneath, he wears a pair of brown-red boots.

~Personality~

As you're walking through the door, you see many sights that influence your mood. The different feelings that suddenly wash over you are many, leaving you with a strange mix of emotions.

Alignment ~ : Unsure. No one knows his true motives.

Behaviour ~ : Faceless doesn't get along too well with others, mainly because of his low self-esteem and sarcastic attitude. He's also controlling when he gets the chance, which wasn't usually much when his sister Nicole was around. She kept him in his place, and nothing irritated him more than to get bossed around by her. He has a hate for authority, which probably explains his grudge against royals, besides the fact that they're stuck-up (most of them anyways). He gets uncomfortable when any care for him is shown, and he makes no effort to hide it. Though his sister showed him love, it was his sister and anyone other than her he got uneasy with. If he could be summed up in a word, it'd be obnoxious.

~Weapons~

Suddenly, a Heartless appears in front of you, brandishing its claws and threatening to attack. You reach for your weapon and equip it, ready to defend yourself.

On first sight, it looks to be a regular stick. However, he is able to lengthen it into a full staff. It has two small green rings around each of the staff's ends.

~Abilities~

Just as you're about to fight the creature, you feel the power of your ancestors filling you. The strength of a thousand men courses through your veins as you prepare for battle.

Burning Hands:
It's a very calm and simple ability. Faceless places his hand on any object, and is able to leave a burn mark on what he touches. However, this can be deactivated when he does not intend on burning anything.

Strength: 2
Uses: This takes about one post to cool down after using.

Tunnel:
With a rubbing motion of his hands, Faceless penetrates the ground with his hand as though there was a hole present in it, and his hand emits through the ground from somewhere else.

Uses: There is a two post cooldown after using - hey, if you stuck your hand through pavement, wouldn't your hand hurt for a while?

Illusion Crack:

Faceless is able to see through illusions and invisibility. Faceless, closing his eyes, taps into this power, and opening his eyes again, is able to see what other people cannot, or rather, don't want to see. He can see otherwise invisible things, and he can see through people's disguise illusions. For example, if a person looked to be Sora in physical appearance but was not, he can use this power to look beyond the illusion, and then the person would appear as whoever is posing as Sora. It doesn't exactly nullify illusions, because other people will see the imposter Sora as before. Only Faceless will see through it. However, no sense comes with this (he cannot sense when someone is under an illusion) so either he'd have to notice that such a person is acting differently, or be very precise on the person and times he uses this ability.

Strength: 2
Uses: It lasts for a single post, and has a cool-down of a single post as well.

Spiritualize:

The jester is able to made his body temporarily unable to be touched by any physical attack. The physical attack passes through his body and he remains unhurt by the assault. Most magical attacks he would have to avoid like always, though, because they can still harm him, especially if they are designed specifically for ghosts or undead folk. This ability would not work if he's going up against undead. He cannot attack, or rather deal damage while in this mode (being non-solidified, his attack would pass through the opponent), and it can only evade one attack per session of this ability, therefore, if two are coming at him, this ability would choose the weaker one to pass through and the stronger one he'd have to dodge himself.

Strength: 2
Uses: This lasts until the attack passes through him, and then it requires a cool-down of five posts.

Weapon Morph:

Faceless is able to change the staff he owns into a whip with thorns on it. During this process, faceless holds the end of the staff, and the front end of the staff begins to droop. Then, it develops thorns. All done in the time span of twenty seconds.

Strength: 2
Uses: This lasts for ten posts, and then the whip transforms back into a staff. It has a cool-down of seven posts.

Faceless started out as a blacksmith. He was the one who supplied the king's weapons and armour. He always had a general distaste of the royal family, because of their snobbish, grossly rich ways.

It was Princess Reyna's twentieth birthday, and the king was holding a masquerade ball like he usually does, to celebrate. Faceless, as usual, was in his forge. Lance came to give him an urgent message from the Princess herself (not that he was pleased to receive it), asking him to attend the ball under a disguise. So he chose a jester disguise, and went to the masque with his sister Nicole.

The Princess welcomed him with open arms, and spoke with him in private, when she got the chance. What she said however, she told him was confidential and could not be repeated to anyone.

Faceless, however, was having a fight with himself. Over the course of the night, he saw how very charming and polite the princess was, and, despite himself, was growing to like her. When the night ended, and he went home, he laid awake thinking about her. He couldn't fall asleep.

Early that next morning, Faceless decided to honour her request and do what she asked of him. And he did, too. Days passed, and, under his jester disguise, he did her every request, while still remaining a blacksmith to keep himself from being discovered. And, in time, he found himself beginning to fall in love with this princess. Him, who used to hate the royal family, was falling in love with one of their ranks. He hated himself for it, as well. He knew that she would never accept him, he knew her father would never let a peasant marry his daughter. He knew he would never have her as his own, and that was what made it difficult for him. But still, he did her every request, without even remembering why he did it.

The king eventually noticed this stranger hanging around his daughter. He inquired to Reyna about this person, and received quite unexpected answers. After the many talks he had with her day after day, she eventually came out with the fact that returned Faceless' love, to both the king's and Faceless' surprise. But, as all things do, it came with a consequence, and this was fatal.

The kind, as Faceless anticipated, would never allow his daughter to marry such a low-ranking person. As such, Faceless was thrown into the dungeon for his loyalty and love toward the Princess (wrongly interpreted as deception), and lingered there for days.

During that time he had a lot of thinking to do. He pondered over whether it was really worth it. Whether he should have gone through with it the first place. This was where he ended up, and soon he would be executed. He mentally kicked himself for allowing himself to fall into such a trap.

It was only in a siege on the very eve of his execution that he was accidentally set free.

The people attacking apparently had Heartless on their side, though nobody knew how they got the dark creatures to obey them. Against them, people dropped like flies because none of their weapons seemed to have any effect on them. Faceless only escaped because the prison guard was attacked by one of them and was thrown straight through the door.

When he found the Princess, he had to give up his life. They had already taken her parents' hearts, and now they were after her. Faceless, though he before hadn't ever intended to give up his life for her, allowed himself to die in her place. It was funny - they never ended up with his heart. No one knows why. But Faceless died for her. He doesn't know if she lived after that, but he prays.

When he next awake he found himself transparent like a ghost, but as solid as a human being. He didn't know where he was, either. He was accustomed to his own lands. But he knew he was not there.

Later, he met a wise old man by the name of Leofwyn, who told him that he was one of the few survivors of that siege. He witnessed the world being swallowed up by darkness, and he ended up in the same place, though he remembered not how. He asked the old man if the princess was alright.

He also knew nothing of that. He didn't know if she was safe, whether she was even alive.

He soon found the opportunity to ask why he was so ghostly. Leofwyn told him that he was dead, but due to his world being swallowed up, the orbs were destroyed, and due to the elements inside being let out, they went haywire. Therefore, he should have been dead, but because the elements where he lived was not as they should be, he was not dead. However, he was not alive either. Lingering between life and death, his soul would not be at rest unless he knew if the Princess Reyna was safe.

With no friends or family to guide him, Faceless set out to find out where Reyna and Nicole was, and if he could ever be freed from his ghostly state of living and just die normally as he should have.

And thus his story continues...
