I was watching Cartoon Network yesterday cause the tv was on the channel, and I wasn't near the remote, when a commercial came on.
At first I was like eh another commercial, good thing I can change the channel and fast forward and rewind when I change it back, if I ever get that darn remote...
Anywho, the commercial was advertising a movie.... a dragonball movie. A real life version... or at least a partial real life version...

I was like what the hell is this bullshit?! Then I laughed at the notion of this movie. And when I realized this was a serious commercial, I cried.
Anyone else feel my pain?

Shattered childhood memories, most likely.
To put it in context: imagine if you saw a commercial for a live-action Kingdom Hearts movie where the actors looked nothing like the characters, the special effects were gimmicky and completely off-base, and the plot had been thoroughly whitewashed and rewritten to closely mirror a shallow remake of a Jackie Chan flick.
Yeah... that's the travesty that is Dragonball: Evolution. At least, according to most DBZ fans.

Really..if you think about it, this movie is doing justice to the fail that is Dragonball Z. Why wouldn't it appropriately suck?

At least it turned out that they actually are making Piccolo green. He wasn't even green in the movie-based fighting game I saw a clip of before. Haha.
