Audition post (400 words):
“Run away! Run away! Everybody run away!” Demyx ran down the tunnel, leaving his two companions to wonder just what was going on. And naught but two minutes later, they got their answer. Cerberus charged in, attacking Axel and Luxord. While the two dealt with him, Demyx was off elsewhere.
“Man that was close. I told Xemnas not to send me back here. I failed to get the Olympus Stone last time. And Roxas called me a thief. And that really hurt.” Demyx sighed. Just then Axel and Luxord came back.
“Fight, fight, fight. That’s all I ever do. Demyx on the other hand just runs away.” Axel glared at Demyx. Not only were their personalities different, but so were their elements.
“Sorry guys, I told you to pick someone else, I’m not one who likes to fight.”
“More like can’t.” Axel replied.
Luxord coughed, interrupting the now awkward silence. “You were picked Demyx not because of your fighting skills, but because you know the area best.”
“Still.” Axel hit Demyx on the head.
“Quit your whining rocker boy.”
“Ow!” Demyx cried out. He shook his head, and pulled out a card. He read off the instructions.
“Find the Olympus Stone. Steal it, then give it back to the Superior. And if you run into any problems, deal with them accordingly.” Demyx turned to his companions. “At least you guys came with, otherwise this mission would be a bust.” At this comment, Luxord shook his head.
“Seriously Demyx, do you ever really try?” Axel asked. Just after he asked this, Hades’ newest minion Angeal showed up.
“You stole something that doesn’t belong to you. I’m supposed to get it back.”
Demyx sighed. “You want to see me try Axel? Fine.” He turned to Angeal, and summoned his sitar. He then created ten water clones. Demyx’s personality seemed to vanish. “Sorry to disappoint you, but the stone is coming with us. And since you’re getting in our way, you’re going down.” Demyx began playing his sitar.
The moment he did this, his clones began doing there thing. Angeal was being surrounded, and soon he was being pounded on.
“Dance water dance!” Demyx cried out. Just then Angeal changed into a monster. His transformation defeated the clones. It then swung its weapon, and knocked Demyx in the back.
“Hey! That hurt!” Demyx was hit again. “Stop that!” A third time. “Ow!” Demyx then stepped back.
“Axel, Luxord, a little help here? Pleeeaaase.” Demyx whined. The two shook their heads.
“Great, the one time I go to prove myself, I pick a fight with a monster.” Demyx’s cold disposition returned. He summoned ten Dancer Nobodies, and fifty water clones. They began to attack Angeal. Moments later, Angeal was unconscious, and Demyx was panting.
“Never let me do that again. I could have lost, and I don’t like to lose. That means I have to go back to that scary place and fight my way out again. And I’m reeaaaally not the guy to be doing that.” The three of them then opened portals, and walked into them. Their mission was complete. Unfortunately for Demyx, he dropped the stone in the fight.
