I've got a big question here.
I mean a HUGE question.
The anime series Fullmetal Alchemist was created by Enix, and some of the games related to it were made by Square Enix.
Does that mean that FMA characters can be used as canon RP characters?

As I have stated in the c-box. No.
And after some research, I can tell you why.
FMA was not created by Enix. That would be belittling all of Hiromu Arakawa and her crew's work. They did all the work in writing and illustrating FMA. Everything is by THEM. Square's part in it is the publishing. FMA was first published in Square's Magazine. They did not create it and I'm sure they don't own it either. The Anime was created by a separate animation studio called Bones.
Of course, when it comes to the video games, those would spawn from Square. However, this is where I speak from personal preference and tell you that it's stretching our 'Square Enix series' rule.
Other staffies are welcome to disagree with me.

As much as I like FMA...
No please. XD It doesn't fit in my mind in the least. I see your point, but I think I must say no on grounds that the KH universe would implode.

I just had a good idea: How about this post be used for any controversial canon characters, or just questions about possible canons?
Here's a character I wanted to check that might be okay with the forum:
Name: Ratix Farrence
Game: Star Ocean & Star Ocean:First Departure(remake)
There is space travel in the game, so he could possibly join, right?

Hilariously, you can make an alchemist character with strangely blonde hair and miniscule height called Edmund Alric without much resistance, I'd think. Afterall, KH does boast a mass of worlds unseen.

I could, but the guilt at copying a canon character would eat me alive.

Can he really?
And then of course, I would deny him on the spot. Especially if the similarity is so close that anyone stupid can pick it out.
As for the Star Ocean character, you are allowed to audition for him. He is from a Square Enix game after all.

While keeping the distinguishing points yet making enough differences to make a case against you groundless, it is possible. Don't tempt me to try my hand at an example.

...Can the warning bar go beyond 100%? D<
Homac:
In the canon characters section of the characters board.
Here
Please remember to look through the threads that have been sticked.

I've always wondered why maximum warning stops at 99%.
Imagine this, a Minion Tamer who summons his minions through the use of red/white pearls. He wears a baseball cap and he always has his favorite S lass Minion, a Thunder affinity yellow rodent, by his side. I call him Dust Got'em. It doesn't help that Minion can 'evolve' either.

I think that's going pass home and straight to jail. Though that is pretty funny.
