I figured it was time to start a plot gossip thread.
So go ahead, gossip.

If I'm counting this right, the Beast has 24 health bars, of which we need worry only about 18 (16 now that Dee attacked).
B-E-A-S-T-S-H-E-A-L-T-H (12)
B-E-A-S-T-S-H-E-A-L-T-H (6) to get to 1/2-way to yellow.
B-E-A-S-T-S-H-E-A-L-T-H
One STRONG level hit will result in two bars being chopped off. I'm assuming a Moderate attack will be equivalent to one bar, and weak attacks will either be completely ineffective or require two attacks to do diddly squat.
So if my math is right, we're only 16 bars from victory (maybe, depending on what the QM has in store for us) or 8 Strong attacks.
...
Sooo... anyone have defensive abilities?

I dont really have any defensive abilities, period.
But I do have some nifty crowd control abilities, good at taking care of enemies that are bunched together closely or in a loosely knit formation.
But for now I think we should all focus on the heartless, minions they may be, theyre still a nuisance while you try and take on the big fellah. I Suggest those with weak-ish skills attempt to destroy the heartless while those with Medium skills attempt to KO the Beast. After the Heartless are dealt with everyone gang up on the Beast.
Of course, thats my strategy, anyone else got any ideas feel free to post them =P

Beast's huge, strong and fast.
And he also seems to be picking on the Heartless which has got me all sorts of confused. Should we just wait and let him duke it out with them and wait for him to go hostile? Strictly speaking, that's what a good-aligned person should probably do. @_@

Well. He went hostile.
(Sorry for the double - but if I edit, no one's going to see this update. D: )
Fi's attack didn't appear to do diddly squat. That means... uh, I'm pretty sure normal attacks can't actually hurt Beast. Maybe he's boosted by an item or a spell or something but as of right now, he doesn't appear to be terribly vulnerable to normal attacks. Strictly speaking, I can get Dee to do enough damage to Beast - prolly, anyways, but Dee needs time.
Or, Dee needs everyone else to use strong level attacks. Because he's going to run if big strong Beast only targets him. XD

I think Darren placing a nice big
X
On his back is going to piss him off, I'm sure Darren can hold his own against the Beast, not offensively but defensively for a while.
I guess time will only tell lol.

As Dei pointed out to me, it would probably be best to protect the healer of the group - Hotaru. As Fi already noticed. xD Yes, protect my character so I can get all the prizes. I mean heal your character when he's in dire need. Also, attacking Beast as a group seems to be effective. So let's team up.

And Beast appears to be vulnerable to standard attacks - each pair of standard attacks appears to be taking one health bar.
I'm assuming that this will also be in effect for 'weak' attacks. So attack at will!

The first part of Forgotten Dreams is over, and soon the next phase will begin. The invasion has begun, but can you, or will you live long enough to see it end?
The Forgotten have returned, and they seek one thing and one thing alone.

Xaldin went and joined the fun at Port Royal.
...personally I think three is enough to get the show on the road. Xaldin can attack six separate targets simultaneously so if it's a matter of quanitity of attacks... XD
