RP Flaw

So. What's a few of your biggest flaws when it comes to RP? You stick with the same RP partner over and over? You post too slow? Your style is ineffective? etc.

Tips on how to improve would be nice too.

My biggest flaw, I think, is that I need a solid block of time to sit down and work on posts. I've met people who can write their posts up piece-meal with spare moments of time scattered here and there across the day... but I just lose my momentum if my writing gets too interrupted.

My biggest flaw, is probably being impatient when it comes to waiting for others.

Heh, if I had to settle with anything, I suppose it might be my whims. I get bored of threads rather easily, even before its gone past the first page.

At the moment I think my flaw lies in my characters. Some of them have become lost in my mind and thus become dull.

That and my muse AND the way I RP is operating in the old generation of RPers where things that are important now weren't then and things that were then are now stupid and cliche. XD

Can you give us an example of what you mean? Just for curiosity's sake.

I tend to be kind of inconsistent. It's not a flaw I'd like to see surgically removed but it'd be better of my style could be more easily controlled.

My true flaw (and it is sadly consistent) is that all my characters tend to go insane.

Oh whoops...forgot to mention my flaw. I have many. XD

My major flaw is my lack of interest, like Akito. A few posts into the thread and it turns out to be a chore. Then I join more hoping for some form of miracle to keep me interested. End up with too many threads. Dies from overload.

Hmmm... my flaw is definitely the social side of roleplaying.

I like interactions between characters, but I've always been much better at tactics and roleplay fighting than with just talking.

I find it difficult to even get interested in RPs unless they have a set storyline and/or plot. That's why I'm not RPing as much anymore.

I have the same problem as High and Akito. Also, there's this bit with my characters where they don't "fit in" with other characters, making all social situations in RP somewhat... awkward? Yeah, that's the word.

I tend to "scare" people during RP's. Whether it be the vicious nature of my characters or my "creepy" descriptions, company just cries and shies away. T-T And I take too long to reply (while being subconsciously boring in my posts).

My flaw is that I have trouble giving the other person enough to reply to in their post, I believe. I think I've gotten much better with that though since I realized it. xD

I'm not too great with RP fighting, either.

I also guess I'm not too interesting since I've never finished a roleplay. Ever. >.> The other person usually vanishes, though sometimes I quit on them. Isn't that depressing?

Ah, Rhea, I remember our first thread together. I was at my wit's end trying to find thigns to do and came up with some random cult murder. But you're on the right track, RPing is about give and take.

I enjoyed our RP, Ophi. I rather like your character's unexpectedness. Ophelia was the person who made me realize the similarities between Devlin and a rapist. Sadly, stuff happens and things come to an end.
