~Appearance~

As you are heading out the door of your house, a small glimmer of light catches your eye. You turn around and see a mirror, putting you face to face with your reflection.

Physical appearance ~ : Rinten, though young, is quite built and thin. His height is normal, measuring in at 5'5, but being normal is a good thing, especially for his occupation. Rinten is blind in one eye, which seems to leave him quite useless in battle, but some major factors help level his disability out. His good eye is a light blue with a normal, black pupil. His left eye is a dull grey with no signs of a pupil, but this fact is hidden from many.

This warrior has a stub-like ponytail, though it is hidden along with his left eye. His facial features are quite broad, despite his figure. His chin is pretty firm and almost square, sporting a slightly fuzzy chin. His nose is quite large, but thanks to his special mask, barely any of it is visible.

Clothing/Accessories ~ : Rinten's style is like that of a samurai warrior. His casual style is a cloak of sorts, though it looks much more like a robe. His hands are engulfed in the over-sized cuff which conceals a very small array of shuriken. The legs of this cloak/robe comes down to his ankles, showing his sandals. The sandals have two thin blocks on the foot, leaving a slight opening in the main sole of the sandal. An odd katana hangs from his back and in its sheath.

BATTLE STYLE
When conducting battle, the warrior will make a dramatic hand gesture and his clothes will then begin to unfold and piece together an epic article of clothing. When the gesture is made, the string that holds his robe together will come loose and everything above the waist will be revealed. The clothing comes down to become a bundle, allowing his chest and mask to be revealed. The mask is as epic as the rest of his presence, leaving only his right eye to be revealed normally. The left eyes is, along with the steel covering the skin around it, is covered by what looks like a deep red crystal.

This crystal is only for show, though, furthering his heroic image as the Steel Samurai. Along with his face being completely covered, the steel covers part of the top left portion of his body, his symbol melted and colored near the breast of this metal. When the hand gesture is made, the oddly shaped katana unsheaths itself and swings around his body twice before the hilt lands into his hand.

Once this 'transformation' is complete, the crystal will shine as quick as the blink of an eye. This is the signal that shows his spirit of battle.

~Personality~

As you're walking through the door, you see many sights that influence your mood. The different feelings that suddenly wash over you are many, leaving you with a strange mix of emotions.

Alignment ~ : Neutral

Behavior ~ : Rinten is a very silent, calm individual that is quite intellegent. He would be accounted as one of the smartest in the Land of Dragons, if it weren't for his 'inability' to speak. He isn't the most well known hero in the land, but to the villains, he is the one that strikes fear into their hearts. The warrior is very understanding, a trait that is similar to his Master. His most common trait of personality is his ability to protect anyone without a second of thought. A bad trait, yes, but also good in some qualities.

Along with his heroic qualities, he does have a weakness towards flowers. He even keeps a book of flowers in the right breast of his cloak/robe, the item hidden in a snug of cloth. Rinten also has a thing for waitresses, blushing as they walk by. He would do anything for a night with one of them, though, that's not quite 'hero' material. Good thing he's silent and wears a mask, right?

The Steel Opposition is Rinten's signature katana. That's what everyone calls it. The actual name is a Jintachi. This blade is oddly shaped because of it's unusual curves in booth its hilt and its blade. The blade is curved enough to swing around Rinten's body without cutting him open. The sheath is made of a special black wood, a gold colored braid of cloth all around the sheath. The hilt and everything else is made of stainless steel, which is quite rare in the Land of Dragon.

[Weak Ability]
Crippling Break
The jintachi sheath is made of a special black wood, as stated above, that slowly drains a grain of energy from the wielder it is first given to. This, if left unused, allows for the sheath to also be used as a weapon if nesscesary. Only the sheath may be able to strike the opponent. If used, no other attacks can be used afterwards.

[Moderate Ability]
The Way of the Gigas
This ability is quite useful, as it causes a status effect on anyone who is hit by the blade while this is in effect. Rinten will usually remove the energy from the Earth, using it to create a magnetic pull of anyone that is unlucky enough to be hit by the broad side of the jintachi. If someone is hit, then the magnetic pull will transfer to the victim and they will be slowed down for two turns by half.
Two uses per battle. 3 round cool down.

ID: Hidden Shurikens

The Shurikens are quite small, maybe about half the size of a baseball in circumfrence. They are hooked up on Rinten's wrist, allowing for a quick attack on some who wishes to cause harm.
