Raphael comes from Ruby City a world that deals mainly with magic users and summoners. It's a rather advanced civilization with technology slightly more advanced then ours is. The city consists of huge buildings reaching up to the clouds but keeps much of the architecture similar to Mid Evil England. Outside the city there's very little life other than the many various types of monsters out there. The city is the only real area of civilization other than various military towns and villages.

Physical appearance ~
Raphael is a short young man standing at only four feet and 5 inches tall. He has an average physical appearance with very little physical build to him. His facial appearance has a very innocent appearance, very kind and cheerful with big blue eyes and wavy white hair thats short on the bottom but the top goes down right above his eyes.

Clothing/Accessories ~
Raphael wears clothes similar to what a school uniform would be. It consists of a white button up collar shirt with the schools insignia on the shirts back tinted in black. A black jacket with brown and gold straps which he has them all strapped and buckled with the ends of the jacket tinted in blue. He wears dark blue boot style slacks and a pair of black school shoes. He wears a brown leather deck holder strapped around his waist and left shoulder, various gold rings, and a blue scarf wrapped around his neck.

Raised to always be kind and respectful, Raphael is a great example of a young English nobleman; proper, always respectful to his peers, and is quite the gentleman. He is also very cheerful always having a smile on his face and sees the silver lining in just about everything. Most of the time though he can be a very shy person, and only talks when someone addresses him, when he does talk though he's very quiet and likes to keep things short and simple. He really is just a sweet young man at heart it's amazing to consider him any threat.

Magic Deck- A deck of 64 magical cards that Raphael uses to defend himself against anyone who dares to fight him or his friends. They are 6" tall and 3" wide with the Kozmos family crest in each of the cards back. Each card varies with different types of magical elemental attacks and defenses but are all low level due to the fact they have yet to be used much in battle. The cards in the deck are split up into two types, combat and non-combat. The first 32 are used for battle and the other 32 is for everyday use such as clothing, shelter, traveling, food and supplies.

Just as you're about to fight the creature, you feel the power of your ancestors filling you. The strength of a thousand men courses through your veins as you prepare for battle.

[Life Aura]
[Description of Ability] It consists of two abilities. One is to heal a friend to 100% health. The second is to revive a friend from defeat.

[Can heal other character(s) 3 times per battle OR can revive a single character once per battle. User can’t do both. These Abilities cannot be used in any way on the user. Cannot be used on user’s other characters either.]


[Magic]:
[Description of ability] His cards contain magical abilities, half are used for everyday uses to aid him in his travels such as food and traveling from world to world. The other half is used for combat purposes using magic to attack and defend himself and others. The combat cards are split into 4 types, eight close range attack cards, eight long range attack cards, eight defensive cards, and eight blank cards. The long range attacks are blasts of magic energy, the short range take the form of magic energy swords, the defense cards create a larger version of the card to shield Raphael. The card is the same height as he is and three feet wide. All combat cards consist of the same spells and have the same effects.

Strength: Moderate 4AP
Uses: Each card can only be used once before they can be discarded. If for some reason Raphael uses up all his cards he must wait three posts in order for the cards to regain their magical powers and re-shuffle themselves.

[Booster Pack]:
[Description of ability] With each fight Raphael gets into, he is able to receive new magic cards for his deck that copy his opponents magic attacks. If a magic spell is cast on him, the magical traits from that spell are copied into his deck creating new cards with the copied spell in order to copy the ability, he must take a reasonable amount of damage from the spell, all the while copying the attack onto his card. The new cards are just his blank cards receiving the learned magic skill.

Strength: weak [2 AP]
Uses:Since they are new cards that belong to him they aren't as strong as the original magic ability was. He can however raise their attack power if he wants to. If Raphael learns a new magic skill, he must give up his previous one in order to not go over the card limit. He is able to use the skill eight times in a battle. They do not return when the deck is re-shuffled.

Raphael is the youngest son of the Kozmos family, a well renowned magical family that has spawned great magicians for over countless of centuries. The only problem is he was born with no magical powers at all, a first in Ruby city where everyone is a magic user. Still his family with their all knowing magic powers, was able to aid their magic-less child and create a deck of magic cards for him to use. Once he turned 14 he was the first non-magic user to be accepted into the Order of Zodiac (or OZ) Academy to further advance his magical cards. Despite that though he had a very difficult time at the school with fellow classmates taunting his lack of magic powers as well as trying to live up to his families prestigious reputation in the school.

No longer wishing to be in the shadows of his family name, Raphael ran away from the academy to journey out and discover his true purpose in life. It was on his journey he met up with a girl named Anna who like him, was not a magic user. She was surprised to see a non magic person perform magic like Raphael did. He was just happy to have met someone who was just like him in more ways than one. They quickly became the best of friends and spent all of their time together.

One day though when Raphael went to go see Anna at her house a beam of light shot down from a dark cloudy sky and into her house. When he went in he couldn't find Anna anywhere. It was then he received a mysterious letter from someone named Mickey roughly explaining the situation. He used the letter as a gateway to travel to other worlds and find his friend.

Sorry for the long wait. Everything looks fine except for one thing. Your first ability is like...64 abilities in one. .__.

What with the new AP system, I'm sure you can edit it, but keep in mind...one ability per slot...I suggest you start out with a smaller deck of cards. Or keep the cards specific to combat [elemental attacks/defense] and have another deck for all the other stuffs that are non-combat [make food/open portal] that you keep as an accessory. Do whatever you see fit.

Remember, you can buy abilities and upgrades to accommodate a lot of the abilities you had in mind under the first ability, as well as buy stronger cards and such.

I split the deck in half 1/2 for combat purposes and the other half for non-combat just so you get an understanding of how many times each type can be used. The ability is still Magic itself, it's just magic is a very universal thing with many endless possibilities.

Actually, it's nothing big, just funny wording and one last thing I want to confirm.

You and Bilby agreed that each type would consist of the same spell? [ex: long range card all have the same effects, short range cards all have the same effects?] If so, please add that in there. If not well...we'll talk about it.

Please state, for the second ability, that in order for your character to copy the ability, he must take a reasonable amount of damage from the spell, all the while copying the attack onto his card.

He is able to use the skill eight times in a battle until his deck is reshuffled, then the uses drops by two each time it re-shuffles.

We're assuming that means that when he has two copied abilities, it would be four cards per ability, and so on and so forth. Explain?

Please also state that he can only use the copy part of the Booster Pack once in battle since it's a weak ability.

There I put in what you wanted. I told Bilby that the blank cards would be the ones that the copied spells go into. Since there are eight of them Raphael can use the spell eight times. But I put on there that he can't use them after that.
