 anyone know how to make it so Riku isn't see through like that? I want him to look like he belongs in that picture. Rhea helped me out the other day with a similar problem but the steps I have just don't seem to be working... |

From what I can see... what you want to do is basically erase the parts of Riku's body that are supposed to be hidden behind Roxas -- you're actually a lot closer than you think. With Riku transparent like that, CAREFULLY erase where Riku and Roxas overlap, then return Riku's opacity to normal (make him not see-thru anymore). Voila!

Nascent, Riku is at full opacity. And I was trying to make it look like he was in front of him.

...Oh! You must be trying to remove the white around him then, right? That's a little trickier... hmm, not sure what tools GiMP has for that, I'm afraid. Gimme a few minutes and I'll try my hand at it. EDIT: Here you go. Gave it my best shot, but taking the white background out of most pictures is less than an exact science, so I always have to darken the edges so that messy white dots aren't visible. Oh, and if Riku's going to be in front of them... he should "look larger to the camera", if you catch my drift. Proportions and whatnot. |
