I was looking at the Canon rules and we can only have 5.
I dislike this rule. Why? Say I get Roxas and Vivi. I am left with one slot left. If I come across two canons I really want, I either have to get rid of a current canon, or pick one. Now I'm not saying we get rid of the two max major character rule, just the total amount of canons up from 5 to like 8, 9, or 10. If you don't use all the slots, that's fine, it's just a way for those like me who want a lot of canons to have a few more than what is currently allowed. I'd also like to point out that if someone really wanted to, they could use all ten slots for square enix and/or disney characters. Or you know any combination of kh, square enix, and disney characters, so long as the major and minor kh canon number restriction is followed.
Anyway we could make this happen?

Poor neglected question...*pets*
Ahem.
Personally, I would say no to this idea of increasing the amount of canons. Five canons seems like so far the good balance between the amount of canons offered and the amount of members on the forum. That way everyone can have a canon each and still have canons left over for others. Also, think about this: can you really keep up with five canons all at once, let alone 10? In addition to having unlimited numbers of OCs, I don't think members can really keep up with 8 to 10 canons. We trust that canon holders will be active with their canons, but we all know that it'll be near impossible to be active with all 10 canons at once. Can you be active with 10 canons all at once?
There's my answer.

I didn't expect 10 to be okay, I was just making a suggestion. And yes, I tend to like canons more than OCs. Like I said, if you didn't use the number of slots you get, that's fine, but for those of us who might (like bilby), or those like myself who would for sure use most of them, this would be an asset. And like I said, it'd just be for minor canons, kh related canons would have a max out, whereas if someone wanted lets say one major kh canon and one minor kh canon, and then five se or disney canons, they'd have the room. I mean there is the possibility that someone uses all those and still has to dump a canon or pick one or the other, but it'd be longer down the line than what it is now. Now if you have the muse for Angeal and he's the last canon you can have, and you take him, but three days later you want Buzz Lightyear, you either get rid of an older canon, don't get Buzz, or say good-bye to Angeal, who you just got. This way it gives people a little longer to rp with their canons, and see if they truly like them BEFORE it comes time to get rid of one.
And since we're talking about canons....
Would it be possible to just retake a canon you previously had without doing another audition so long as the canon wasn't owned by anyone else? So long as they could prove that they did indeed audition for the canon.

Seriously though, if anyone's that whimsical with their canons, I doubt they can hold that many canons for that long. Ten is exaggerating it. Let's say 8. If they want canons that fast, then I really don't think there's any worth behind getting canons if not only to put them on a plaque for others to see. You don't see anyone making OCs that quickly. >__>
What I'm saying is...really, if I see someone auditioning for canons that quickly, I'd doubt that they can hold said canon for that long. Or any canon for that matter.
As for the old canon stuff...hmm. I'd need someone else to answer that. Cause I'd love to get Xigbar back without waiting for another audition. And I think Zero did that with Axel. You might need approval from Iris though.
Bilby just reminded me that I'm an admin too now. ^^;
And so, yes. You can do that, as long as you provide the old audition with its two approvals. =D

Mkay, I didn't figure my up the canon count would pass, but nice to know. Might want to mod the canon rules so that they say that you don't have to audition for a canon you previously had if it is available and you have a link to an earlier audition.
Locked unless someone asks for it to be unlocked.
