So, once again, I find myself in need to check an idea out with the higher ups here on FM. This one is in regards to a special arena bout in which the combatants would get their hands on three or four free techniques. In the interest of fairness, all the skills will be based off of Equip skills (Fairy Dust, Fire 1 and Blizzard 1 or 2) and all the combatants will get the same skills.

So the question is; just for the arena match, is it alright to give people these skills to use free, on top of their normal battle skills?

If you're so inclined, I see no reason why it couldn't be arranged. The 3-4 techniques would basically be the same as Quest-only powers or equipment, and that's a fairly common practice from what I've seen. If you'd like, I could even help you in setting this special bout up.

It'd go under the Special Rules, aye. As long as both parties are in agreement, there's no problem; however, remember it'd have to be a temporary bonus.
