The one-eyed figure stood on the top of a large head of what might of been a whale as he rubbed his slightly messy hair. This certainly wasn't what he had thought when he heard of the once proud world of Atlantica from his Master. With things how they where now, it was quite surprising that he was even told to visit this place with how things where, but is Master told him to visit this world at least once.
With an angry sigh, Alphonse started to jump from the head of the whale and down along the spine and ribs, his jacket flowing behind him with each jump. Dispite the canyons, there was very little wind and the sun seemed to just burn into him and his black clothing, making the day very hot. Stopping on a coral path, Alphonse looked to see several pillars of coral, a few broken but all of them as white as now.
"Jeez... this is the path to the palace... not nearly as brillaint as Master said it would be..." Alphonse muttered, walking through a weird large shell arch-way. "This place has indeed seen better days... but what am I supposed to find here Master..." Alphonse asked himself, rubbing the back of his head and sighing as he looking around.

Not that far from where he was another outsider was wandering the pathway of what was once an underwater paradise. It was a shame that this world had ended up this way, just another reminder of what needed to be done in order to bring peace back to the worlds. Not that he cared, his only reason for being here was because he was ordered to. The worlds and their safety was of no big concern, but it was what they were meant to do.
Although this particular mission was strange since it was completely different than what he was normally given. It had very little to do with his groups main objective which was to find a wielder of the Keyblade. This once was just to locate any signs of surviving life on this world. He had no luck yet at that. It almost seemed as though they were trying to distract him or something from something much more bigger. But he wasn't the kind to question the groups orders.
As he continued to look around some more he suddenly felt a scent of darkness around him. Was this a sign that there was people still alive here? He could only hope and see.
He walked over to a pathway where several pillars of corral were at. Across from him he could sense the essence of darkness not that far from him. He would have to jump across the pillars to get to this person, a feat that proved no challenge to him. He quickly jumped across each corral one by one as though he were as light as a feather.

"Oh, what have we here?"
A silver haired man stood at the highest reaches of the now bleak world, the sun casting an appropriate dim view of his body to anyone who would from down below. Sephiroth had taken it upon himself to search this world, not to find Cloud, but for his own purposes. Up until now he'd been unsuccessful in finding much of anything for his ambitions. He wasn't particularly keen on being found, which was why he masked his presence with the lingering darkness of the world. "Only bugs...they can squash themselves, but amusement is not a particularly bad thing."
With a leap Sephiroth went over the side of the canyon and jumped from cliff side to corral, then stood atop a pillar. He was still a ways up, but now it would take him seconds to move between either of the other figures if he chose to do so. "Give me reason little bugs, let me snuff those little powers of yours..."

He had heard the sounds of what he could only describe as someone jumping along either the stones or the corral. Alphonse let out a sigh, ran his hand through his hair once more before turning around, a smile appearing on his face as he faced the direction he believed the sound to be coming from. He had no idea what he was going to encounter, but he had the feeling that this person wouldn't be too bad to encounter.
It was the other presence that flowed down and stung his own, making the demon of his presence glare up wards. A man or monster of great stature and strength had appeared before the him and the other who had came, but Alphonse kept the smile on his face. "Well, I rarely see such beings on a world so empty. As this guest looks upon two others, I must wonder how it was that they had been brought to the same area as me, as if story tellers where writing their lives out." Alphonse said, bowing slightly at the waist.
"How can I be of assistance to these two who have came here?" Alphonse asked, smiling at the two, his hand resting on the handle of his blade. He needed to find the item that his master had left here for him, and he didn't need any unwanted strangers interupting his search. A fight in this area would be slightly bad for anyone because of the fragle nature of the corral that the fighting would take place upon.

Shadow instantly stopped on his tracks as soon as he felt the presence of another being close by. At first it took him a moment to filter this person from the darkness from the world itself but quickly sensed the individuals darkness within. This negative feelings within their heart was somewhat overwhelming but at the same time it was very mellow and controlled. No trace of light could be found within this person. Whoever it was had an enormous amount of darkness. Something that could prove useful to shadow. The other person he had picked up from before had revealed himself and stood across from Shadow. Compared to the other person he didn't feel a menacing threat from him.
As for the silver haired gentleman standing atop the pillar, Shadow already knew that this guy was here to cause a ruckus. Call it being at the wrong place at the wrong time or whatever, but he knew that the only way to leave this place now was through him.
He pulled out his Light Cutter instantly activating it once it folded open. The violet beam ran straight down the front of the blade as the other side rested on Shadows shoulder. He looked coldly at the winged man showing no sign of fear or any other expression. If a fight was what this guy wanted, then that was what he was gonna get. His right hand tightly gripped the swords handle while the other hand was positioned to his lower left side.
"Do you really want to screw with me?" he said keeping his eyes on him.

((OOC: No wings out for Sephiroth Shinn, I didn't RP those in here.))
One person smart enough to ask a question and know his place, the other...an aggressive upstart. He thought. Really Sephiroth wasn't inclined to do much to either of these two, it was more he was always amused to see ants run about when a giant came around.
"Assistance...I am fine, yet our other friend," Sephiroth turned his head and narrowed his eyes at the other man. "does not know his place." A scrawny runt that felt like nothing to Sephiroth should not ask such things. He relaxed his shoulders and let loose his own aura, showing a fraction of the real strength he was capable of. He was at a least a hundred feet up, yet from there the pressurizing effect of his released presence was menacing. Simply moving meant over-compensation for anyone else, the air was getting thin, and it almost seemed like an echo was being created by Sephiroth's will throughout the canyon. Then a cracking sound began.
The very pillar beneath Sephiroth crumbled, yet the immediate spot he stood on stayed firm. What happened next was a child like display of the power and control Sephiroth had over his abilities; while the rest of the pillar crumbled and shook his section moved down the the waterfall of rock and earth in one piece. At the ground for a second it stopped, and then every piece of the pillar shattered into dust, making sight for any of them momentarily impossible. All of this done with simply the outward aura of his power.
"You were saying little warrior?" Sephiroth asked, though it seemed he was musing to himself. That this man sought to challenge him was grand, that the difference between them wasn't so obvious intrigued Sephiroth to wonder what motivated him to tense up. And after all he'd done nothing to illicit an action.

As the first one to appear drew his weapon, Alphonse kept a smile on his face while grabbing the handle of his sword lightly, ready to pull it the first sign of trouble. But at the moment he wanted to watch the situation, knowing that unless he provoked one of the two in front of him, he would remain mostly safe and out of the conflict. It might even be easier for him to find what he came here for if they ignored him and fought each other.
Alphonse took a step back, knowing that if he wasn't careful, he might draw their anger towards him or he might mistep into the pits below. "Alright then Swordsman. It is good you are fine." Alphonse said, already looking around the area for a sign, any sign, of his master's message. It was hard keeping his eye on the two while looking for signs, considering he only had one eye, but even then Alphonse wouldn't be caught off guard.
The rush of the silver-haired one's presence made Alphonse turn back and look up at him, his smile strong but his glaze pointing straight up at the figure. Was this release just to scare off the one who drew his blade? Alphonse cared little for it, just as long as it didn't mean he would have to draw his blade as well. Alphonse ignored the presense, having to take deep bursts of presense like this as training.
The cracking and crumbling was a bit more worry-some for Alphonse, unable to keep himself in the air without help, woud fall into the pits below. It was just the pillar the man stood on, but it was enough to have Alphonse now also watching where he stepped from now on. As the dust settled over the area, Alphonse did something potentally dangerious to his health for his own safety, unsure what corral dust might do to his lungs.
With a jump, Alphonse landed on one of the many pillars around the path and looked over at the two, hoping that someone wasn't making a b-line for him. It seemed clear, but Alphonse was not one for taking chances so he kept his blade ready. It seemed as if the one with the silver hair didn't plan to strike out, so Alphonse relaxed and tried to look around for the clues once more.

Shadow could only shake his head in disappointment as he dusted off himself. This simple gesture was disappointing to say the least. He already had a good idea as to how strong this man was, now all he was doing was trying to intimidate Shadow. He was not impressed by this. Although his sight was slightly impaired, Shadow could easily pin point where Sephiroth was at the moment. He waited until the dust cleared some more before doing anything.
"Just another circus act with no real talent. Was I supposed to be scared by that or something? You're just like any other "tough guy" that comes around. Go play that lame stuff for someone else who's intimidated by low class acts like you."
Yes he did come off as quite a talker but the moment called for it. You don't know how many times Shadow has seen this type of person before, the kind who saw themselves as #1 in every aspect of life and everyone else as inferior beings. Sure this guy was strong there was no denying that, but people like this silver haired man really start to tick him off.
Shadow tilted his head over to where the other man was at. "Hey, do you know if there are any survivors left on this world?"he asked. If so could you tell me where I can find them?" He had already wasted enough time and needed to continue his objective. If this Sephiroth person wanted to start something then Shadow would just have to deal with him first.

Sephiroth smirked at the impudence shown. Funny the man iterate Sephiroth's exact feelings for him. He had after all started the confrontation, and now further insulted Sephiroth. Surely he didn't think Sephiroth would take this laying down.
"Survivors? How unfortunate..." Sephiroth muttered to himself. "it seems there are none left, the devastation on this world rid it of life." Sephiroth of course had no idea if this was the truth, he didn't care either. "Oh, let me wonder, did you mean normal survivors? There is a survivor...but...haha! Of course...perhaps you're looking for them, we all are." Sephiroth ended, then held his hand out in front of him. "We've been brought together gentlemen."
"But there's something concerning. Why would several people be lead to this desolate world? Individual goals? No. A calling of something hidden, the survivor here needs satisfaction, and those that respond are all victims to something greater. That means gentlemen, both of you die here." And in the next instant with a flash of green light, Masamune appeared in Sephiroth's hand. He stood ready for a long moment, eyes staying focused on the men before him.
"Mother is mine." With a step, then a blur that shot forward, Sephiroth closed the gap between himself and the arrogant man in a second. Masamune was heading straight for the man's heart.

Alphonse couldn't help but chuckle a bit as the one who challenged the monster of a man. He was smart enough to know not to tease a bear with a stick. Alphonse just jumped off to the side, looking for the clue left for him, the sword in his hand still. "Foolish actions."
Survivors? Was there anyone of that sort in that area? Alphonse didn't think that anyone could have survived this entire thing of this world. He didn't think it happened like that. He didn't think anyone was unlucky enough to survive in a desert and tar filled world.
Of course, before he could answer, the man with the silver hair answered instead. Alphonse only nodded at what he had said, about the world devastation. But when he added that they had been brought together, he shook his head. "No... things like that don't just happen... the reason we are here is because we are. I have to find something, that is it." He said with a smile.
"I have no intention to die here dear man. I only plan to find what it is I need and then get out of here without any problems. You can try to kill me, but I do not plan to attack you, only to defend myself from you." Alphonse said, still searching the walls of the walls around them, looking around at the different shapes and markings.
